Bio: Charles is of the Heston family, a group of nobles deeply rooted in Molnovia's past. He is his parents' third child and naturally expected to be without a fief of his own unless he married into another family. To make himself more of an asset later on in life he was trained to be a guard while still being taught the same things his older brother was, in case he unable to inherit the fief, just on a smaller scale.

Of course this meant he'd had to deal Kristii before he and the other guards gave up on keeping her away. It had actually been at his suggestion that they give up. They were all reprimanded whenever she escaped and were sick at constantly failing, especially him since had to face his father and mother and tell them he failed. He grew sick of it and, since he actually had some power of decision making decided she wasn't really a threat. Since he was at the forefront of the guards refusing to try and arrest her his family couldn't do much against it despite their annoyance.

And then one day he was suddenly informed he'd been granted the fief "Throneshadow Keep" provided he could oust it's current, unrightful owner. He was also informed that he should perhaps recruit some fighters before making his attempt and so he did, recruiting at every village on his way to Throneshadow. Kristii tagged along with him, something he was glad for because it meant there'd be at least one familiar face. That, and without him at home there was nothing stopping her from getting kicked out.
