To keep it simple, all wanzer parts have a grade and a function. Most of them have a function of N/A, meaning that they are just basic parts that do what you expect them to. The lowest grade is F, the highest is P for Platinum.

F-D-C-B-A-S-SS-SSS-P

Up to B-Rank, damage to wanzer parts is no light matter. While C- and B- rank parts can sustain limited amounts of damage, D- and F- rank parts are brittle and weak, manufactured in terrible conditions. On the same token, Platinum-Rank Parts, while near-impossible to obtain, can handle a staggering amount of damage.

In terms of parts, there are the leg units, the arm units, the cockpit, the center body, and the battery pack. All weapons can be used by all squad mates, but not all squad mates can carry all weapons.

Red Pack has 2 Speed Wanzers equipped with full sets of C-Rank parts. Since Flare dropped her uzis on the ground, she's only got her Revolver. The Revolver has unknown stats, but Roy's Wanzer has a Rank F Shotgun.

Red Pack has 2 Power Wanzers with a full complement of C-Rank parts. Nahn has a heavy machine gun (Rank D) while the pro'tau has a long-range sniper rifle (Rank F).

Red Pack has 1 Defense Wanzer with a full set of C-Rank parts installed. Deks has 2 rank F shields with the Pile Bunker function, which means they can do a rank D melee attack.
