IO-Chat Staff Roles

Server Staff

	God
	This is me, Xymon. I can do anything and everything. Omnipotent, you could say; godly.

	Administrator
	This role is appointed by the owner to add/remove moderators and deal with behavior. This role has full control over rooms & users.

	Developer
	This role is for developers, they are granted most privelages for the sake of testing and debugging ONLY, but are not permitted to actually act as a moderator or administrator.

	Moderator
	This role is appointed by administrators to manage behavioral reports ( from private messages, not chatrooms ) and mark rooms that might be innapropriate for the general public as "adult" or "hidden" rooms. This role also has the ability to approve profile photos, and pre-reviews bug reports to forward to the developers.


Room Staff

	Founder
	The founder is the creator of the chatroom, this user can then choose to be the owner of the room, or they can give someone else ownership. Even if they leave the room forever, their name will remain there

	Owner
	This is the founder by default, but can be changed to another member of the room at any time. This user has full control of the room, and can give up their status to another member if they wish.

	Administrator
	This role is appointed by the owner to add/remove moderators, edit chat rules (and other chat configuration) and deal with behavioral reports. This role can issue and de-issue permanent bans.

	Moderator
	This role is appointed by administrators or the owner to manage in-chat behavior. They can kick, temp-ban, mute and suggest permanent bans. Permanent bans must be reviewed by the administrators before they can take effect. This role has no control over room configuration.
