  1. 1 - For a moment, nothing happens. Then, with a mighty bang, the barrel entirely separates from the gun. A moment later the end ignites and the whole affair hurtles towards the intended target like a rocket. Reroll attack, 80 damage, gun is useless until fixed.
  2. 2 - With a dramatic shower of sparks a small flag emerges from the barrel of the gun and unravels, revealing the word "BANG" written in a large block font. The gun must be reloaded to be used.
  3. 3 - The gun jams, and must be reloaded to be used.
  4. 4 - with a click and a bang, the breach falls open right as the gunpowder ignites. The bullet is sent flying into the ground, and a spray of burning powder heads in the opposite direction towards the user. Dodge vs attack 150, heat intensity 1 (5 damage if hit)
  5. 5 - A bee emerges from the barrel and merrily buzzes its way towards the enemy. In 2 rounds the enemy will be stung and take a -10 AAP for the remainder of the fight.
  6. 6 - The barrel explodes, curling back like the peel from a banana. The gun is useless until fixed.
  7. 7 - The gun fires, then completely falls apart in the user's hands. The gun is useless until reassembled.
  8. 8 - Nothing seems to happen The user makes a power check. Unbeknownst to the user, the area has become infected with magic. The degree of infection is determined by the power check. (See page 121, Arcana Exxet)
  9. 9 - Nothing seems to happen. The area becomes attuned to Darkness magic (1 level) until the end of the session.
  10. 10 - As 9, but Light magic
  11. 11 - As 9, but Creation magic
  12. 12 - As 9, but Destruction magic
  13. 13 - As 9, but Fire
  14. 14 - As 9, but Water
  15. 15 - As 9, but Earth

  19. 19 - The area becomes sealed. All spell costs are increased by one level until the end of combat.
  20. 20 - The barrier between worlds weakens temporarily. Zeon costs related to Summoning are halved until the end of the session.
  21. 21 - The gun kicks heavily and a sizable burning mass is ejected. It arcs into the sky, coloring the area with red light until it burns out. For two rounds, any low-light penalties are ignored.
  22. 22 - The gun fires with a bang, but no bullet can be seen through the smoke and sparks.
  23. 23 - A massive cloud of smoke emerges from the gun, obscuring vision in the area for two rounds. -40 to ranged attacks and perception-based checks, +40 to hide and stealth checks.
  24. 24 - Reroll attack. The gun fires, exploding in the user's hand. On a hit, calculate a critical with a base damage of 100+User's Presence
  25. 25 - Nothing appears to happen. The target finds themselves hopelessly love-struck by the user and takes a round to recover themselves.
  26. 26 - Reroll attack. The gun fires, but deals no damage. Instead, the bullet hits with a breakage value of 25
  27. 26 - Reroll attack. The gun fires but deals no damage. Instead, the target makes a MR save against the damage value or suffers the Fear state for 2 turns.
  28. 27 - As 26, but against the Fascination state for 2 turns.
  29. 29 - As 26, but against the Pain state for 2 turns.
  30. 30 - As 26, but against the Weakness state for 2 turns.
  31. 31 - As 26, but Mute for 2 turns
  32. 32 - As 26, but Deaf for 2 turns
  33. 33 - As 26, but Blind for 1 turn
  34. 34 - Reroll attack. The gun says 'bang' very very quietly, and fires a tiny itty bitty smol bullet. Does normal damage otherwise.
  35. 35 - Reroll attack. The bullet flattens itself against the enemy, dealing impact damage.
  36. 36 - Reroll attack. the bullet explodes into a garishly coloured smear of paint. Does no damage.
  37. 37 - Reroll attack. The gun fires but in reverse: the damage occurs, the bullet whizzes back down the barrel, and then a loud bang is heard. Normal damage, no need to reload.
  38. 38 - Reroll attack. The gun fires normally, but wounds appear on the enemy nearest to the target.
  39. 39 - Reroll attack. The gun barks like a dog when fired and pants happily when reloaded or pet for the rest of combat.
  40. 40 - The target's weapon fires, ejecting its blade or similar.
  41. 41 - The gun appears to jam. A cream pie flies out of a bush or similar hiding spot nearby and impacts the target square in the face
  42. 42 - The gun appears to jam. one of the user's buttons flies off harmlessly.
  43. 43 - The gun makes a loud, dull thud. A large piece of wadded up cloth flies from the barrel and unfolds seconds before impacting the enemy, revealing a stitched-in logo of a somewhat wonky-looking tiger.
  44. 44 - Reroll attack. The gun fires normally, but produces no noise.
  45. 45 - The gun fires normally. A bird flies across the line of fire, exploding into a shower of feathers as it collides with the bullet.
  46. 46 - A moment after firing, time seems to slow to a crawl. The user has an odd out-of-body experience where they perceive the bullet impacting the enemy in slow motion and exquisite detail. Then, as if nothing happened, the battle resumes.
  47. 47 - The bullet misses, but chips away at a piece of terrain to reveal something rare hidden behind it.
  48. 48 - The gun belches out a cloud of colourful smoke along with its bullet
  49. 49 - Reroll attack. The gun fires normally, but the bullet trails colourful smoke behind it making its path easier to follow.
  50. 50 - Reroll attack. The gun fires normally, but no entry wound appears on the enemy - only an exit wound.
  51. 51 - The gun jams. A thunderclap can be heard.
  52. 52 - The gun fires normally. Frost forms over the barrel.
  53. 53 - The gun fires normally. The user receives a small static shock.
  54. 54 - The gun fires normally. The barrel glows red-hot for the rest of the round.
  55. 55 - Reroll attack. The gun deals no damage, but steals zeon equal to the damage that would have been caused.
  56. 56 - The gun jams. Steam vents from the chamber. The gun loses 20 zeon from its store, if applicable.
  57. 57 - The gun fires, but the bullet just slides out of the barrel and falls harmlessly to the ground.
  58. 58 - Reroll attack. The gun fires normally, but the bullet glows red-hot. No additional effect.
  59. 59 - A burst of confetti and glitter explodes out the barrel
  60. 60 - The gun jams. The target's shoelaces are tied together
  61. 61 - The other gun fires. No need to reload.
  62. 62 - The gun jams. The user and the target sneeze in unison.
  63. 63 - The gun jams. Unnoticed by either party, a trashy tattoo forms on the lower back of the target. The tattoo disappears in a week.
  64. 64 - The gun jams. One of the black pearls turns white. It turns back to black overnight.
  65. 65 - The gun jams. The next shot the gun fires produces no smoke or flash.
  66. 66 - Reroll attack. The gun fires without recoil.
  67. 67 - Reroll attack. The bullet whistles like an artillery shell and explodes flashily on impact. No other effects.
  68. 68 - The gun jams. The hammer falls out. The gun cannot be used until it is repaired.
  69. 69 - Rather than firing, the gun squirts out a quantity of gun oil.
  70. 70 - The gun fires normally. The smoke takes the shape of an anhk.
  71. 71 - The gun fires normally. The smoke takes the shape of a pentacle.
  72. 72 - The gun fires normally. The smoke takes the shape of three concentric circles.
  73. 73 - The gun fires normally. The smoke takes the shape of a dodecahedron.
  74. 74 - the gun fires normally.
  75. 75 - Reroll attack. The gun fires normally.
  76. 76 - Reroll attack. The gun hisses, then fires at the end of the next turn.
  77. 77 - The gun's chamber blows out. The gun is useless until it can be repaired.

  79. 79 - The gun jams, making a loud rattling sound. The next thing to attack the user is bit by a rattlesnake the second the attack concludes.
  80. 80 - The gun fires normally. The user develops the strangest craving for ice cream and pickles.
  81. 81 - The gun jams. A mouse runs across the user's foot and flees the battlefield.
  82. 82 - The gun fires with twice the normal kick. If it somehow still hits its mark, damage is doubled.
  83. 83 - Reroll attack. The gun fires normally, but the trigger falls out. The gun can still be fired by manually cocking and releasing the hammer.
  84. 84 - Reroll attack. The gun fires normally, then fires a second time using the rerolled attack.
  85. 85 - The gun jams. the target's pockets fill with uncooked pasta.
  86. 86 - The gun fires normally, but the bullet bounces off the target with a comical 'boing' sound.
  87. 87 - The gun jams. For a moment, only the sounds of breaking waves can be heard. When the chamber is opened, the gun is found to be jammed full of salt. The gun cannot be used until it is repaired.
  88. 88 - Reroll attack. The gun screams in pain. The target makes a 'bang' sound.
  89. 89 - Gunpowder pours out of the muzzle of the gun.
  90. 90 - The gun jams. The user feels a hot, dry wind. When they open the chamber, sand pours out.
  91. 91 - The gun jams. The barrel falls off. The gun is useless until fixed.
  92. 92 - The gun fires normally. The barrel cracks in half. The gun can still be fired, but is at a -20 attack penalty due to the lost accuracy.
  93. 93 - The gun fires normally. The smoke reeks of cannabis.
  94. 94 - Reroll attack. The gun fires normally. The bullet corkscrews towards the target.
  95. 95 - The gun fires normally. A cork tied to a meter-long string leaves the barrel.
  96. 96 - The gun fires normally. The bullet disintegrates in the air, small bits of bullet bouncing harmlessly off the target.
  97. 97 - The gun explodes apart in the user's hand, burning them (3 intensities)
  98. 98 - The gun fires normally. A cloud of dandelion seeds emerge from the muzzle.
  99. 99 - The gun appears to jam. When the gun is reloaded, roll attack. The sound of the gun firing can be heard and damage appears on the intended target.
  100. 100 - The gun explodes in a shower of glitter that covers the user. A distant voice can be heard calling out "GAAAAAaaaaaayyyyyyy"
