  1. I don't believe that Odyssey on USPC is for me anymore. I don't know what this means for my EU character, but I'll accept whatever decision is made.
  2.
  3. As I'm sure many are aware, I came from Squad 11. I joined that league because I knew really good players from there, and it seemed like a league that would be mutually beneficial shortly after I upgraded from free-to-play. I ultimately left the league because the people I got to know there were moving on. I followed the friends that I made, as the others did not bother to create a similar friendship.
  4.
  5. I did not join Odyssey due to its recognition. I only had a vague understanding of the league's popularity at the time. I joined because that's where my friends were going. Simple as that. I have enjoyed the ride. There are plenty of people on the EU side that I still consider friends, in which I hope the feelings are mutual. I completely agree with the league's approach to content, and the things they do for the community.

  7. The reason I'm leaving is simple. The league, as well as the game, is a shell of its former self. People are not enjoying themselves, and have turned it into a part-time job. This has lead to unhappy experiences ingame. Many of the people that I joined Odyssey for have stopped logging in frequently, or have left the league completely. Even though I have invested quite a lot of time and cash into the league hall (I think it's worth like 50mil+), there are not enough reasons to continue with the league.

  9. There has been mention that without farm3rb0b, there is no Odyssey on USPC. While I think that's a ridiculous statement to make, I don't think that changes in the leadership would matter at this point. The amount of unhappiness is too great. How people interact within the league is no longer acceptable. No one wants to be in the league, but have been forcing themselves, due to it being "Odyssey" or whatever other reason. The league has been in an unhealthy state for awhile now, and recent decisions haven't helped. One of my concerns is that the league's image took priority over the league itself.
  10.
  11. The league doesn't have a core group of players that can carry a small league, and it didn't grow enough to compensate for that. I think that distinction with the EU side is why they were able to survive during the slow times, and we were not. The method used to build each side *should* have been different, but were treated the same across servers.
  12.
  13. Recent decisions made by the developers on the direction of the game pushed a lot of the talented players away entirely, across all servers. Odyssey EU's foundation was already set, so they were able to handle that blow. Odyssey US could not recruit to our standards as a result, which lead to a weak recruitment flow becoming downright dormant. The league was not DOA, but couldn't get off the ground like it should have.
  14.
  15. I wanted to thank those for the support over the league's life, and I have no problem if the remaining members wanted to rebuild. I didn't want this to come crashing down, but cannot see myself staying other to save face.
