  1. >The Bards: The Whimsical Guild. Most if not all of its members are carefree and jovial, and many play an instrument, though it isn’t required at all for you to be able to play one to join the guild and take part in its festivities. As you can guess the bards have a lot of fun on campus, and are heavily involved with organizing the extracurricular and student-run events at Utul. They do not promote the study of a specific concentration of Magic.
  2.
  3. >The Masquerade: The Mysterious Guild. Most if not all of its members are reticent and quiet. Members of the Masquerade enforce a custom of secrecy about all matters that occur within the guild’s halls (much to my dismay). The Masquerade often organize dances and expeditions into the lands surrounding the campus. Guild related activities usually demand that participants wear some sort of mask for their duration. Most members of the Masquerade study Illusion magic.
  4.
  5. >The Forgemasters: The Rugged Guild. Most if not all of its members are tough and hardy. The Forgemasters lay claim to the only magical forge on campus. Much of the weaponry and armor that are used in the training halls are supplied by the forgemasters’ own work. Additionally, the forgemasters build and repair parts of the campus for their own and others’ enjoyment. Most members of the Forgemasters practice Enchanting magic.
  6.
  7. >The Lionhearts: The Valiant Guild. Most if not all of its members are virtuous and fearless. The Lionhearts are often seen patrolling the campus for any dangers or threats, and frequently explore the lands outside of the campus for dangers and thrills. They hold ownership of many of Utul’s training halls, and often host their own private magic training classes for their members. They do not promote the study of a specific concentration of magic.
  8.
  9. >The Mystics: The Astute Guild. Most if not all of its members are calm and wise. The Mystics emphasize the building of the connection with the Divines, the spirits of the ethereal realm that first granted humans the ability to use magic. Rumors abound that this connection has granted the Mystics abilities that transcend beyond that learned at our school, but I would dismiss those words as poppycock. The Mystics lay claim to the only Observatory on campus. Most of its members study Runecrafting.
  10.
  11. >The Poltergeists: The Wicked Guild. Most of its members are maniacal and, how do I say this lightly…insane. Honestly, I would dissuade you from joining this guild. We’ve had suspicions that they are responsible for some supernatural occurrences that have been occurring at the academy in years prior. Like the Masquerade, its members practice a vow of secrecy about its guild’s affairs. Most of its members study Conjuration.
  12.
  13. >The Elementalists: The Balanced Guild. Most of its members are resilient and intelligent. The Elementalists emphasize pursuing unity between The Five Spheres: Fire, Water, Earth, Electricity, and Nature, and believe that putting their bodies through intense physical challenges brings them closer to this goal. All members study at least one form of the ‘Mancies, and many practice MMA. They have their own dojo on campus, where they frequently hold meditation as well as magical training sessions.
