- Welcome to FULL DATA EXTRACT for STARCRAFT 2 1.3.3 Patch ; BASE18574
- NOTE: All archives are MPQs , they're just renamed into sc2xxxx extensions.
- ----------------- INFO FOR ORIGINAL EXTRACT BEFORE BEING PATCHED OVER
- This is here because it was taken from official main files and patched over still
- retaining the file which is already there and doesn't need modification.
- Some unnecessary stuff was disincluded like bnet cache , because it's so large,
- only the changes in patches of folders in bnetcache are included. I assume these are
- map/mod infos , don't know really. Uncompressed size is more than 110 MB(1.0)
- The patch archive has FULL gamefiles and replaces those from main Mods & Campaign
- directory. It does NOT have bit changes unlike the dependency system (really small
- individual files)
- ---------------- LIBERTYMULTI IS A "PATCH" MOD (DEPENDANT DEPENDENCY)
- Note: LibertyMulti.SC2MOD (only) which is essentially official gamecomponent, it is
- in reality a dependency-wise mod , it depends on Liberty.SC2Mod , inside the
- LibertyMulti, there are only bit changes, in other words > really small individual
- xml files (not bytes ... i just don't have the correct term for this)
- --------------- INSTALLATION of PATCHARCHIVE
- Working Directory: SC2INSTALL/Versions/BaseXXXX
- BaseXXXXX = highest number directory => default launch directory (u can modify this)
- The highest number is the latest patch (officially)
- 1. Backup the originals (only .sc2archive , leave the rest alone)

- 3.Patchbuild folder is for example (no changes, just merged stuff)
- ------------- HOW THIS WORKS
- We basically use a patch to overwrite everything in the original files + official patch
- + our modification , written directly, no dependency, no external files, no editor
- required.
- Using a patch is because of the extreme simplicity
- - the system of "patching" is brilliant for this stuff
- - we avoid making and modifiying multiple official files (takes more time)
- Note:
- This is an overwriting system, not a patching one, (patching system = dependency system)
- "Patch"/Child/Dependant = mymodmap.sc2mod/.sc2map/.wateverMPQ (made with official editor)
- Parent/Dependency = Liberty.SC2Mod (original gamefile)
- REQUIRED PROGRAMS:
- 1. Notepad++ or Programmer's Notepad (xml)
- 2. Ladik's MPQ editor
- 3. Common PC sense working with, manually modifiying gamefiles/arranging ... etc
