Short Felicia Story #2

A blanket of pure white snow covered the land. A light breeze could be felt and began to lightly shake the tops of the trees, causing small amounts of snow to gently drift to the ground. The sun was nearly setting; the sky was painted in beautiful pinks oranges and reds which danced as far as the eye could see. The last vestiges of the sunlight sparkled off the snow, and a singular sleepy cabin was tucked away in a nearby small forest clearing. Feelings of warmth and safety practically emanated off its wooden exterior, a cosy light could be seen from the window.

Felicia and I were just a few minutes away from the cabin; we had spent the day walking together and just watched a beautiful sunset. We were now strolling along the snow-covered path back home while holding hands, the crisp sound of the snow crunching underfoot could be heard. “Thank you for taking me out today Master Anon it was lovely!” Felicia said happily, a slight hint of tiredness could be heard in her voice. Turning to Felicia I smiled and replied “I love going on walks with you, everything we do together feels so magical and I never want it to end!” I looked to her beautiful face smiling back at me and felt my heart flutter, but she also looked very sleepy. “I’m sure we’re both very tired. It’s not far until we`ll be back and able to have a nice rest together!” After I said this Felicia stood on her tip toes and kissed me on the cheek, heat completely returned to my face and I blushed. She then rested her weary head near my chest and I put my arm around her waist, we stayed like that for the rest of the short journey home. “You take such good care of me Anon;  I can’t wait to fall asleep in your arms! I love you.” Felicia joyfully exclaimed. “I love you too, my angel.” I replied, and returned the kiss on the cheek she had just given me.

It was at this point that we had arrived at the cabin; light smoke could be seen billowing out of the chimney. The cosy light pulsing from the window made the feeling of a pleasant tiredness seep into my bones. I quickly unlocked the door and we stepped inside, a wave of warmth came across us, the fireplace was still burning quite strong as it illuminated the room in a soft and comforting light. The interior was quite small but it was cosy and quaint, various portraits were hanging on the walls, a bookshelf was in one corner and soft bed in the other. Underfoot a soft carpet could be felt. Both of us began to yawn, we decided to go to sleep. I added another log to the fireplace so it would hopefully keep on burning until morning and then we both changed into sleepwear. I turned to Felicia and held her close, whispering to her “I`m so lucky to have such a devoted, loving and cute wife. I promise you`ll always have me here, by your side. I`ll never abandon or hurt you” Felicia blushed across nearly her entire face, tears of joy welling up in her beautiful deep blue eyes which made them sparkle. She replied to me “This is everything I have ever dreamed of and more anon, I love you so much and always will. I promise to work extra hard to be the best wife I can possibly be for you!” I felt a wave of happiness wash over me after hearing this, every single moment we spend together is perfect. I gently swept her off her feet and carefully held her in my arms, carrying her to bed. A light wind could be heard howling outside as the snowfall began to pick up which only enhanced the cosiness. We both sank into the soft sheets and wrapped our arms around each other; I gave her another long kiss goodnight and gently stroked her soft hair. It wasn’t long before we both drifted off to sleep, continuing our perfect day together in our dreams. Content in the knowledge that the first thing we will see when wake up is each other.
