        They're having to design a working set of netcode, for a genre that doesn't normally have netcode so they don't have prior examples, and they don't have experience making side scroller netcode, AND with that genre lag is as huge a potential problem as it is in fighting games
        Oh yeah and it needs to run on PS4, XBox, DS, PC... I know for a FACT I'm forgetting release locations in addition to those
        Which all have different architecture
