  1. Hey, chaos. Just wanted to make a note here to you, since I'll probably forget to do so in the future.
  2. In short, I can say I admire you as one of my role-models, though I've never gotten the pleasure of meeting you or getting to know you very well. You've created a great and growing community, you're actively pursuing your goals, and getting yourself all the education you can in the field you love. I think that's admirable for anyone to do, and I think you've done a fantastic job.
  3. I found my passion in programming while playing on PS about 1.5 years ago, wanting to learn how everything worked. One thing lead to another, I became a server owner, and just tapped into the code, figuring out what different things did. It became my obsession, learning to program as well as becoming a leader of a group. After a long line of failed attempts at running my own PS servers, I ended up helping other servers out, even dabbling in Frost's leagues, creating a few common trends you see today, like the league banks, league member testing, etc. I went through over 15 servers, 20 names, and countless hours before I got my chance at truly proving myself as a leader and community force, though it doesn't happen to be here at Smogon. I'm now staff of PokeBattle, often called "Smogon's rival" though I don't find it to be that way, and I can attest much of my current success to the work you, the other PS developers, and the other Smogon staff, have done to get me here. Not only am I a force in a Pokemon community, but I'm also growing as a person outside the virtual world as a result.
  4. I thank all the Smogon staff, especially you, for creating the opportunities that I have and had. If you considered that your work may not have changed anything concrete, something outside the online community, I'm living proof it has. Once again, thank you. I truly appreciate everything you've done for this community.
