While Ahdirata's mother and father were as supportive as possible to a hatchling with such dull colors, it soon became obvious that the young Coatl would have to leave the nest and his home clan. It was a difficult move, but he found his home with Krasota in Water and happily settled in, learning as much as he could about the finer points of the Draconian mind to assist others with the hurts of the past.

The older he got, the more he realized that his former clan might have been right. Occasionally, Ahdirata will have spells where the world just doesn't seem right-- the colors are off, the sounds come from far away, there are shadows moving on the edges of everything, and voices whispering from just behind his shoulder. The 'spells' only seem to last a moment to Ahdirata, but when he snaps out of it, he'll often find that 10 to 15 minutes have passed.

Thankfully for the Clan, Ahdirata's mate is a kind and patient Coatl who doesn't believe he's evil or cursed just because of his colors. She tends to keep the others of the clan away from her mate when he 'spaces out', just in case. It worries her that the voices have started coming to him without a spell occurring, but Ahdirata monitors his progress carefully and maintains that whatever taint he carries is not as worrying as other Coatls would make it seem. There has to be a simple explanation. He's fine. [/left][/size][/font]
