1. V. Holy Magic - Spell Support
2. Lightsworns have a good number of Spell support as well, both direct and indirect.
3.
4.
Solar Recharge
5. Normal Spell Card
6. Discard 1 "Lightsworn" monster; Draw 2 cards, then send the top 2 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard.
Our draw power, and our consistency. With Charge Limited, this card is what keeps us alive as a Deck.
7.
8. Run 3.
9.
10.
Realm of Light
11. Field Spell Card
12. Each time a card(s) is sent from your Deck to the Graveyard: Place 1 Shine Counter on this card. All "Lightsworn" monsters gain 100 ATK for each Shine Counter. If this card would be destroyed by a card effect: Remove 2 Shine Counters instead.
Lightsworn does not focus on extra ATK, and the boost this card gives is too minimal as it is. You could try to abuse it with [YGOCARD]Lightray Daedalus[/YGOCARD], but a play like this is subpar.
13.
14. Run 0.
15.
16.
Lightsworn Sabre
17. Equip Spell Card
18. Equip only to a "Lightsworn" monster; It gains 700 ATK. When this card is sent from your Deck to your Graveyard: You can target 1 face-up "Lightsworn" monster you control; Equip this card to that target.
It's got a neat instant equip effect when milled, but as stated above, LS does not focus on ATK. While a 700 ATK boost is pretty decent, it’s not worth running.
19.
20. Run 0.
21.
22.
Charge of the Light Brigade
23. Normal Spell Card
24. Send the top 3 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard; add 1 Level 4 or lower "Lightsworn" monster from your Deck to your hand.
25. A free mill 3 and a themed RotA. You can see why it's Limited.
26.
27. Run 1.
28.
29.
Reinforcement of the Army
30. Normal Spell Card
31. Add 1 Level 4 or lower Warrior-Type monster from your Deck to your hand.
32. We have a good number of Warrior-Type monsters that we run, such as Jain, Garoth, Ehren, and [YGOCARD]Necro Gardna[/YGOCARD]. But none of them were extremely impressive to the point of justifying this card's use.
33.
34. Then they made Raiden.
35.
36. Run 0-1 pre-DSLJ, Run 1 post-DSLJ.
37.
38.
Foolish Burial
39. Normal Spell Card
40. Target 1 monster in your Deck; Send that target to the Graveyard.
41. Free Wulf, free [YGOCARD]Necro Gardna[/YGOCARD], free 4th name... You see where this is going?
42.
43. Run 0-1.
44.
45.
Monster Reincarnation
46. Normal Spell Card
47. Discard 1 card and target 1 monster in your Graveyard; Add that target to your hand.
48. It can pitch a dead card from your hand and get a boss monster back. It's a Spell so it's faster than [YGOCARD]Beckoning Light[/YGOCARD]. In Twilight, it also allows you to get back your DARK bosses.
49.
50. Run 0-1.
51.
52.
Forbidden Lance
53. Quick-Play Spell Card
54. Target 1 face-up monster on the field; until the End Phase, it loses 800 ATK, but is unaffected by the effects of other Spell/Trap Cards.
55. This card protects our plays and ensures they go off. It is also especially good now that [YGOCARD]Solemn Warning[/YGOCARD] is Limited and [YGOCARD]Solemn Judgment[/YGOCARD] is banned.
56.
57. Run 0-2.
58.
59.
Allure of Darkness
60. Normal Spell Card
61. Draw 2 cards, then banish 1 DARK monster from your hand, or, if you don't have any in your hand, send all cards in your hand to the Graveyard.
62. This one is specifically for Twilight. I really wouldn't recommend it in Pure for obvious reasons.
63.
64. Run 1 in Twilight.
