        - soo minjin is the type of girl that just wants to have something happening in her life all the time. she is constantly wanting to go somewhere and do something. she’s fun, that’s how a lot of people described her. minjin is probably considered one of the most social people in the group. whenever they’re going out doing something or have a fansign, even just eating dinner, she’d want to snap a picture and post it so she can inform the fans of what’s happening with the group. most people would say that she’s is loud and has a very ‘spirited’ persona. she’s someone who cares well for others, not putting everyone else first constantly, but she makes sure they’re doing just as they should be. being affectionate is something that comes easily for minjin, she sometimes appears as a girl who thinks she is better than a lot of others or someone who doesn’t want to be bothered, but if you know her personally or even if you are a fan, she will want as much interaction as possible.

        - minjin always played with toy cars. she had lots of them, too. she always begged her mom to buy her a car. she stopped asking around the age of 16 when she decided she might not be able to rely on her parents financially when she got older. while her and her brother were both still in high school, her mother and father split. it was something minjin wasn’t fazed by. she never had strong faith in love, and she knew her mom felt the same way. it actually surprised her that they were together for that long. since her parents divorced, her mom accomplished a lot of things. she opened up her own cafe, adopted a third child, and was even able to convince her eldest, minjin, to audition for jyp entertainment. it took a lot of talking, but mj’s mom is the reason that she is where she is now. she couldn’t be more thankful for that. her father, as of now, has moved to seoul and is working with the police force there while her mom and the rest of the family are staying in ulsan.

      - bananas : due to the popularity of the fruit, minjin once tried one, but didn’t like it. she can only eat one within the time span of thirty minutes without throwing up, but too many of them will make her sick.

      - soda : minjin cannot stand the feeling of acid in her throat, it burns at times. because of her weak tolerance for most beverages, she hardly ever drinks.
      - her glasses : she has to wear them sometimes for her bad vision, but other than that, she will always be wearing contacts. minjin cannot stand something like that on her face for a while.

      - writing lyrics : minjin does not want to rap other people’s words, stating in an interview, “if i say someone’s words, then i couldn’t mean it. it makes me feel like i am posing as something i am not, and that fact is something i cannot handle.” she writes her own lyrics whenever she sparks an idea, but she mostly co-writes lyrics for the album songs with “vine” and “v app”.
      - online shopping : minjin has always loved buying her clothes from online. she enjoys meeting the fans, but  it is difficult to shop in public with her status, so she often does shop online to avoid any sasaengs.
      - dancing : it is not something minjin is amazing at, but she likes practicing and working on getting better.

      - can’t swim : she has a big fear of open water, but when with 304 (or any of her friends), she lies about it, saying she doesn’t feel too well or that is a ‘girl problem’, so she finds various ways of avoiding having to swim.

      - “snapchat” : mj likes playing around with “snapchat” a lot, because she is the only other girl in 304 that is close to her age. she is the one that minjin usually hangs out with around the dorms. minjin often begs “snapchat” to cuddle or play, she likes getting lots of affection from her.
      - “vine” : the two have had a friendship of great closeness since trainee days, they stuck together to get through the rough days that were hard for them, supporting each other and helping each other with their careers. other than work, minjin and “vine” enjoy shopping and dining out with one another.
      - bts’ kim namjoon :  minjin and namjoon have only been friends for a short while now. she was first to approach him on twitter, congratulating bts on their win at MAMA. they then started began giving advice for each other’s rapping through dms, eventually swapping numbers for a safer method. the two now talk daily.
      - monsta x’s chae hyungwon : minjin and hyungwon instantly clicked after her cousin, lee jooheon, who is also from monsta x, introduced them to each other at a party celebrating monsta x’s debut in 2014, when she was still a trainee. they’ve been good friends ever since.

        - he is a comical guy who likes to have a good a time, and make moments last. he is a type of guy that can make just about anyone laugh no matter where he goes. he is open to trying new things and going new places, and he’s always up to making new friends. relationship wise, he is a sweet young man who loves to spend time with his girl. both being idols and having busy schedules, they can't meet up a lot, so he would like to always call her. overall, he is a boy who is passionate about his significant other.


｡* how did you meet each other;
        - the two met at time square mall in seoul. it was a very brief and a very once-in-a-lifetime moment. while minjin had been shopping with some of the other 304 members, she had stopped by the restrooms. the last thing minjin thought she would see in the bathroom was a man dressed as a woman, applying lipstick to his fairly plump lips. he wore a brown wig, bangs hanging over his eyes, and that might’ve been what confused minjin for a moment, she hesitated. that was a mistake though, in that short time in which she could’ve simply walked into a stall, she noticed him through the mirror. and he noticed her. minjin wasn’t sure if he was embarrassed or just wearing blush, but he ripped the wig off in a quick motion and turned around to face her. once the wig was off, minjin was positive it was lee jaehwan and felt heat rise to her cheeks. he didn’t say anything about the subject, but just bowed politely to her and excused himself from the bathroom. minjin didn’t say anything about it to the rest of the group, but received a direct message on twitter. it was an apology, and that got them talking.

      - minjin was stunned finding the lee jaehwan in the women’s restroom dressed in such a way. at first she believed that once a man passes a certain age, the shouldn’t still be peeping in the girl’s room. him apologizing, though, it changed her quick judgement of him. she even felt a bit guilty, jumping to conclusions. in his apology, he even mentioned that the wig, dress, and makeup was newly bought and he was trying it on for ravi, so they can do something for the fans. minjin, as someone who knows well what it is like to want the fans’ attention, understood. she too, apologized for her misunderstanding. she was shocked that he recognized her, seeing that 304’s debut wasn’t that long ago. but she couldn’t help but to feel a bit flattered. even after talking to him for a while, she was always in a happier mood when he called or sent a text, but it happened rarely, seeing that neither idols have the time for friendships like that.
      - lee jaehwan knew her immediately. he didn’t think he would find any idols, especially new idols, out in wide public. seeing soo minjin there, out of all the restrooms in the mall, had him taken back. yet, he couldn’t deny that she was there, 304’s mj in the flesh, stood there in the doorway of the restroom. and he was dressed as a girl. without even knowing her, he had felt embarrassed and nervous. meeting any idol made him nervous. he couldn’t find the words to explain himself at her hesitation, so as a man, he payed his respects, but knew he would have to explain. new idols were always dangerous. he didn’t know her company well, or her. she could’ve, and still can, easily tell anybody about it. but lee jaehwan trusted her anyways. just by looking at her, he felt warmness. and he didn’t really care if she told somebody, because she would’ve been talking about him. acknowledging him. that thought alone made him feel really happy.

      - ken is a pretty ‘out there’ type of guy, even with mj. while on stage, ken is usually serious, his face almost always showing that same expression like he’s deeply concentrated on what he’s doing. he never acts that way around minjin. she is a girl that jaehwan feels mostly confident around. the first encounter isn’t even something he regrets. dressing up as a girl for an instagram post is the best thing he’s done yet. being with minjin seems to complete him. whenever he’s around her, he gets this certain attitude that shows his cockiness. after her seeing him like that, he was sure there was nothing more embarrassing he could possibly do to scare her off. the way he acts towards her is flirty and cheesy. his favorite part of talking to minjin is when she blushes due to his comments. it makes him feel excited and happy, also making him more confused about how he feels towards the new female idol.
      - minjin’s feelings towards lee jaehwan are obvious. the immense amount of blush on her cheeks whenever their talking, how she constantly asks about him, no one is oblivious to how she smiles differently at him than she does anyone else. even her fellow members realise there is someone who she is talking with, constantly making her look brighter and act more social. minjin is always looking down at her phone, smiling at her screen. the members respect her privacy and don’t ask who it is, but they do poke at her a bit and tease her about it, saying things like, “did you leave your phone?”, “don’t forget to check your notifications!”, and “has he replied yet?”. silly things such as this, but minjin disregards their comments.

       - soo minjin and lee jaehwan aren’t in a relationship yet, but there is no denying that they both have feelings for each other, impacting each other’s lives. they love to text, facetime, and call each other. even if it doesn’t happen a lot, they think about each other every day. jaehwan feels as if he should make the first move, taking into thought about how they both feel. he is honestly scared that he is misreading her, but he definitely wants to be more than friends. small dates are something that occur occasionally on days that are important for either of them, they both like to make each other feel important by celebrating something special like that together.
