Personality - Wizened and toughened by age and battle, he has come to learn how to judge most people from first impressions, and if he believes wholeheartedly that they will commit great wrong he will kill them without a second thought. He is good at heart and will do all he can to defend the weak from those who would wish to exploit them. He does not stay in one place too long, and has a deep hatred for those who would sell others into the ownership of another. He is brutal in combat, and feels that those who deserve to die should be dealt with as they have dealt with others. He knows to behave himself and keep his urge to crush evil men at bay when in towns and cities, but can be sent over the edge by particularly dark acts. He worships Bastion and believes himself an extension of the Titans earthen will.
Backstory - As a young Tauren, Asterion was captured by slavers, and traded around for several years as he learned to stay alive and stay quiet as well as judging people as he met them, learning to trust his insticts. After several years of being traded for favors he ended up working in a mine in the far eastern sections of Legannon. There, he began to learn Earth Magic from an older human man who taught him of Bastion, and of being as strong as the Earth. He was a natural at it, learning it quickly but keeping it a secret from his captors. Eventually, his master died and Asterion led the men who owned him into the mine when all of the other workers had gone, and buried them in the mine and left them to die. He told the others they were free and that he had dealt with the slavers. He began to wander the Legannon Empire, dealing with bandits and raiders with brutal strength and powerful earth magics. He mastered Earth Magic over the next dozen years and has continued traveling as a protector of the weak and innocent.
Equipment - Carries a large staff that he uses as both an enormous walking stick and a club to crush skulls. Wears clawed metal guantlets on each hand. His horns are sharpened at the tip to gore those who get too close.
