Good Morning, Mr. Salka!

Please provide me with a copy of the letter which Mr. Michael Cocca sent to Mayor Madden or Deputy Mayor Monica Kzalewski or the administration in general regarding his recent experience with the Troy Planning Commission and the approval process for any expansion of the Best Western Franklin Square Inn and, specifically, his treatment by the chair of the commission Barbara Nelson.

I am copying the City Council and my enemies in the media and encouraging them all to reach out to Mr. Michael Cocca to discuss his concerns and the comments regarding his successful hotel from Barbara Nelson.

He's a classy fellow and probably won't leverage the media, but I will.

If half of what I will tweet about this incident is even close to being true, the entire city should be in shock.

This needs to be addressed immediately (the issue) and the FOIL request (per applicable laws).

Finally, Mr. Salka, like our kid sings: "nobody ever mentions the weather can make or break your day" so I hope you have a wonderful weekend, despite the impending snowfall and Barb Nelson's impending downfall.

PS sorry to hear Planning Commission Executive Secretary and City Engineer Andy Donovan resigned, he is a good Colonie guy, like me. Hope this hateful treatment of Mr. Cocca wasn't the reason he is leaving.
