[18:03:34] <Jackal> . Judging by the large crowd that is surrounding them, you guess it must be a good day for them. Somehow, somewhere, you heard about a lucrative job offer. A caravan guarding mission that pays well. You spot your contact, a brown unicorn, sitting outside a tavern with a sign that called it ‘The Watering Hole’ under the shade of a large umbrella that covered the entirety of the table. This job seemed simple enough, what could possibl

[18:05:24] <Jackal> The Jackal sat down at the table, smoking a cigarrete. He needed guards, and if his notices went out right
[18:05:31] <Jackal> Then some should came any moment now
[18:07:06] Tabasquette guesses she is the first to arrive, fluttering down gently at the table where she spots the brown unicorn. This summer heat was nothing to her, as she had been raised in Mexipotro.

[18:08:39] Kickstart walks towards the contact, taking a sip from his canteen as he arrives
[18:08:55] Sharp_Shot was exhausted. He'd been walking for hours, wounded and lost. It was by pure chance he stumbled upon the town of Oasis, but his energy was quickly sapping him dry. He thought he could make it to the town, but unfortunately collapsed just outside the border, dehydrated with no more energy left.
[18:10:57] Xelan looked at Kali and smiles, waving for her friend to follow after her "Come one, the town isn't that much further." The young zebra left her cloak hang around her shoulders as she kept walking.
[18:12:28] Kickstart sees the collapsed pony and runs over, quickly examining them before raising his canteen to the earth pony's lips
[18:12:51] Kali had tried to keep stride with her youthful companion, thought the desert heat wasn't exactly doing her any favors. She was ready to head to the nearest saloon for a much needed drink.
[18:13:58] Tabasquette sits neatly next to the brown unicorn, sitting neatly with her tail curled around her side. "Yes, I'm here for the caravan?"
[18:14:17] <Jackal> "Good." And with that, he extinguished his cigarette
[18:14:43] <Jackal> He was gruff, rugged, and seemed comfortable with the desert heatr
[18:15:33] Sharp_Shot shook his head, trying to regain senses of his surroundings. Seeing the unicorn above him, the sun blinding him as well, he holds a hoof to block the sun's rays to make out the shape of the pony. "What... who are you? Where am I?" said the Earth Pony, looking around, trying to regain his bearings. He must've slipped briefly from consciousness when he collapsed.

[18:18:03] Xelan looks at Kali, the sweat on her brow showing "What, the sun must be devestating you." She adjusted her hat and smiled, lenaing over the nudge her companion "I advise a hat if anything, it should help with the sun." The young zebra gave her elder a smiel as they kept traveling down the path, opposite of the entracne the collapse pony was at.
[18:18:10] Kickstart helps Sharp_Shot to his feet, steadying him as he says "I'm Kickstart, and you've just collapsed on the outskirts of Oasis. You looked like you could use a drink, so I obliged."
[18:19:24] Jackal looked tired, old, in the hot sunlight, but somewhat comfortable. "We're waiting for more to show up."
[18:19:51] Tabasquette nods. "Well, I've got plenty of free time, to be honest."
[18:20:29] Sharp_Shot slowly rises to his hooves, one forehoof holding his head. "Thanks... I guess." Once he's gotten his composure back, he studies the city briefly and glances in all directions, disoriented and confused. "Sorry, um... Kickstart was it? Where exactly is this? Oasis I mean."

[18:23:21] Kali simply sighed as she continued on to the path, it was just her luck that she hadn't thought ahead and brought along a hat to shield the sun's rays. Then again the sun was a rare sight back in their part of equestria. "I wonder if the equestrians of 200 years ago had to withstand this heat as well." she thought as she kept trudging forward. She looks up and her glum expression brightens as she sees the town border in the distance.
[18:23:31] Jackal glanced at the mare sitting next to him. "Name?"
[18:23:35] Kickstart regards Sharp_Shot for a moment before answering. "You really don't know where you are, do you? You're in the Ponave Wasteland. C'mon, we better get you outta the sun." He then proceeds to help walk him over to the table, out of the sun.
[18:25:09] Sharp_Shot hesitantly nodded, and started limping his way to the town, trailing just behind Kickstart. He stumbles a few times on his right foreleg, and winced when the wound on his torso started to sting.
[18:25:49] Xelan looked up at the cloudy sky and smiled "Well they had less clouds probably. And water, don't forget water." the mare looked at the town with a smile and nodded "Well we could ask a few ghouls if we run into them. I mean there is the chance they would know about the weather way back when."
[18:25:59] Tabasquette has a strange electronic device on her wrist, held on by leather straps, the casing looking as if it was rusting. She holds in a button for a few seconds until a screen comes up reading "PipBuck 64BASIC V2, 38911 basic bytes free" She boops another button and a very blocky looking map shows up. She was simply recording the location into her little computer while she waited for the
[18:25:59] Tabasquette others.
[18:28:16] <Jackal> The mare seemed to be more in the PipBuck she held on her leg. An amazing device, something he needed to get for himself.
[18:28:48] Kickstart motions Sharp to lie down beside the table. "Here, let me take a look at those wounds. Now, I don't believe you've told me your name now, have you?". He leans over and his horn glows as he focuses healing magic on the earth pony.
[18:30:00] Kali had chuckled at Xelan's jest, she did enjoy her companion's humor at times. "I'm more interested in finding a saloon," she responded. "I just want out of this heat as soon as possible." she picks up her pace as she and Xelan walked into town.
[18:31:17] Sharp_Shot leans up against the table, opposite on the side his wound is on, and trying to keep pressure off his leg. He looked around, hoping he wasn't drawing attention. Then again, he wasn't sure why he was worried about that. He was shot by somepony and left for dead in the middle of nowhere, his assailant could be here. He wasn't sure. When asked the question, it broke his distraction. "Uh..."

[18:34:34] Xelan walked in the town and looked around, the landscape was a bit down but it didn't matter. "Okay, let's go find that saloon for you. My elder might collapse from sun heat if she doens't get her tea." The young mare laughed as she ran forward, looking for the saloon or bar in the town, knowing Kali would follow after her a bit angry.
[18:39:20] Buck_Shot Approached the town after a long treak from small town to small town finally reached his destination of Oasis seeking shelter from the hot sun.
[18:40:11] Kali huffed at the statement as she retorted, "Mind yourself child, younglings should pay repect to their elders." She then raised her head in a proud fashion as she kept trotting in a brisk pace. "Mind you, i'm not a day over 26."

[18:42:58] Tabasquette eyes Kickstart up and down for a second, her sweepy, broomlike tail giving a swish as he walks up, looking up from her pipbuck. "Hello."
[18:45:04] Kickstart sits down at the table, introducing himself and acknowledging the mare's greeting.
[18:45:12] Sharp_Shot frowns when Kickstart, the only pony he knows even at the slightest, leaves him and goes to talk to some strangers inside the salloon. Unsure what to do, he goes to sit somewhere away from the crowd, and looks over the only posessions he has; a Rifle, a Pistol, a Revolver, and strapped to his wrist was a cracked and glitchy computer-device branded "PipBuck."

[18:48:34] Xelan smiled back at Kali and slowed down as she came to the saloon. "Well if you can't keep up with me then you can't really be called young can you?" The zebra laughed as she looked around, noticing a group outside the saloon. She noticed a few of them were unicorns, an earth pony, and a pegasus with a pipbuck. She looked at them as she waited for Kali "Come on then, let's go get something to drink and find a job to do."
[18:54:42] Buck_Shot Strolls up to the table ignoring the large group of ponies congregating around the table and notices the pale brown earth pony fiddling with his weapons. "Hey you know of any work around here? I'm short on caps and and it's fucking hot out here so make it snappy, you dig?" Buck_Shot said as he approached the earth pony.
[18:55:46] Kali scrunched her face in an expression of mock disdain at Xelan's comment. She noticed where Xelan was currently staring at, the group of ponies sitting at the table outside a rustinc building under the shade of a canopy.
[18:58:33] Sharp_Shot looked up in alarm at the brown pony, "Oh, uh... hi, um...," said the earth pony, struggling to store his holster his weapons again and sling his rifle over his back. "Sorry, I'm just... I don't know about any work, sorry..," said the nervous and confused Earth Pony. He eventually saw the group congretating at the table. "I think they're talking about a job, over there. You can try them or... something..."

His first glimpse at society since he lost his memory, he's encountered a dead body, a pony that helped then promptly dumped him by himself for the group at the table, now that unicorn that spat at him and insulted him. He was perhaps more unsure where to go or what to do now more than ever. [19:25:19] Kali had continued trotting into the saloon, her ears picking up the words "Caravan Job" as she passed the group at the table. She contemplated the situation, it seemed that they were offering a job offer for a caravan; it could be a useful means of getting some more caps. The bounty contracts were coming a bit slow these days, and they really needed a new means of earning some caps. As she orders a glass of whiskey, she turns to her companion. "What do you think," she motioned to the table outside. "Caravan jobs are suppossed to be easy caps from what i've heard."
[19:25:30] Buck_Shot floats a bottle cap infront of Sharp_Shot "Come on boy, you want the shiny?" Buck drifted the bottle caps back to the table hoping the earth pony would follow.

[19:26:57] Xelan followed after Kali with a smile on her face, she got an idea and nodded. She leaned close to the elder zebra, looking at her "Well we could use the caps. I mean the company looks well, the leader seems stupid but the rest seem well." Xelan thought of ways to hop into the conversation dn nodded "I know how to talk to em."
[19:28:08] Jackal resisted the urge to face-hoof at the idiocy of the light-brown unicron.

[19:29:14] Tabasquette simply walks over to the pony Sharp shot in the corner, and taps him on the shoulder. "Hey, we need another gun, come join us~" She says, with a little bit of a grin, her vibrant red hair dangling over one of her yellow eyes.
[19:30:24] Sharp_Shot 's ear twitches upon hearing the pegasus approach, glancing up quickly from his PipBuck. Upon hearing the request, he glances between her and the group, before saying. "Um, I'm sorry...?"
[19:31:48] Tabasquette flexes her slender wings just a little bit, her red tail swaying back and forth over her flanks. "We just need one more guy, and you look like you can handle yourself pretty well~"
[19:34:00] Sharp_Shot was distracted briefly at the display of the pegasus, then his soft blue eyes turned back to her, before he pressed a hoof to his forehead. "Look, um, I'm sorry, if you have me mistaken for some other pony. I don't even know where I am or... why I have these," he says, pointing to the rifle on his shoulder. "I don't know if I can help you. I'm lost and... um... I don't even know who I am or where I am," he said, glancing around t

[19:35:16] Kickstart walks over to the pair. "Look pal, you can either go your own way and try to figure things out on your own, or you can come with us, earn some caps, and have some people to keep an eye on you while you figure out where your feet are."

[19:39:10] Kali rolls her eyes as she grabs her drink and takes a careful sip from the glass. She savors the taste of the whiskey as she polishes off the shot, setting the glass on the table. "Alright then," she says heading back towards the entrance of the saloon. "Let's go see our future employer."
[19:40:23] Aura grabs her own glass and looks at Kali and nods "Mind if I pop up to ask them about the job before we settle to take it?" The young zebra held up a small snapper that was thrown at the ground and giggled, "This will get their attention if anything."

[19:41:02] Buck_Shot 's eyed the orange pegasi with an drawn expression. "Hey hot stuff, what's your name?" Buck said smileing.
[19:43:50] Kali sighs at her young companion's antics, she just hoped it didn't cost them a job opportunity.
[19:44:07] Tabasquette raises an eyebrow at Buckshot as she walks back over to the table. "Tabasquette...cabrón"
[19:46:15] Xelan slowly walks out the saloon and looks at Kali, throwing the small popper at the ground at the ground. She aimed right under Jackal's seat and a loud snapping noise filled the air as she looked at the table.
[19:47:00] Sharp_Shot frowned watching the pegasus leave. Then at Kickstart, mulling his suggestion over. He glanced to the side. What else was he going to do? He had nowhere to go, no leads, and nopony else who'd be willing to talk or even help him. In the end, what choice did he have? He reluctantly sat up and approached the table.
[19:48:03] Jackal 's eyes went round as he leaped into the air. He reached out with his hoof to the holster on the side of leg and tossed it to his mouth. He gripped it firmly, and landed on the ground, pointing directly at the zebra's head.

[19:50:33] Sharp_Shot , as if driven by instinct and like an automatic function, quickly swings the rifle over his shoulder and points it at the table, but he wasn't sure who. Just pointed it in the general direction. It took him a second to realize what he was actually doing.
[19:53:08] Buck_Shot floats out his revolver pointing it at Jackal's head. "Leave the sexy Zebra along please."
[19:58:00] Kali grew worried as the uncorn, of whom Xelan had decided to place the firecracker under his chair for kicks, had pointed his pistol at her head. "Forgive her, she didn't mean any harm really." she said trying to dissuade the unicorn from shooting Xelan. "She was just playing a harmless prank."
[19:59:36] Jackal slowly, he spat out his revolver and holstered it. He glared at the young zebra. "Next time, you won't be so lucky." He picked himself up and sat back down on the table.
[20:00:02] Xelan looks at the unicorn and shrugs "Guess some in the wastes can't take jokes, it is all either business or I'm about to die." She walked towards the table on her hind legs, smiling as she winks at Kali "Guess no one has time for fun anymore." The young mare slowly bent backwards and jumped using her forehooves, landing atop the table, still on her hind legs.
[20:00:32] <Tabasquette> "So...now that that little bit of tomfoolery is out of the way....are we ready to go?"
[20:03:04] Sharp_Shot lowers his rifle, looking between the other ponies, eventually, and reluctantly, slings it back on his back.
[20:03:59] Kickstart sheathes his sword and turns back to Jackal. "So, you were going to elaborate on the job details?"

"I'm sorry, she's a bit...accentric at times, but she usually means well." she holds her hoof infront of her in a friendly manner. "Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Kali, i'm a traveling medic." she pauses for moment to wave the hoof towards the younger on the table. "And this is my traveling companion Xelan, despite her behavior she's an experienced bounty hunter."
[20:10:15] Tabasquette ponders at this little tidbit of information, starts typing a little bit of stuff into her pipbuck 64. Especially this part about medic.

[20:12:55] Kali had turned her attention back to the unicorn. "We heard about the Caravan Job and was interested in joining as well." she pauses as she glances once more at Xelan. "I can assure you she'll be on her best behavior for this."
[20:14:28] Jackal looked around. Not the most reliable bunch, but you gotta work with what you have. "Job is simple. Escort my caravan from here to New Pegas City. Standard payment, in caps, will be paid upon delivery. 250 caps per day, for five days. We leave as soon as everyone is ready. Any further questions?"
[20:14:31] <Kickstart> "Another medic, eh? At least that means I won't have to do as much work in that regard."
[20:15:56] Sharp_Shot was briefly distracted with the pegasus typing into her PipBuck, noticing it was a similar device to what he had. He thought about bringing it up, but his attention snapped back to the pony announcing the job half-way through his speech. Not wanting to make himself look more like a fool, he decided to keep his thoughts to himself and remain quiet, behind the rest of the group.
[20:17:05] Xelan hopped down off the table and looked around them all, eyeing the pegasus and the rest as she looked at the Pip-Buck. She turned to Kali and smiled "Hebu kusafiri pamoja nao kwa kidogo na kuona ni nini juu. Kama hili ni wazo mbaya, kuingizwa mbali katika usiku." She looked Jackal in the eye and gave a simple nod.

It would've been almost 100 years out of date even at the time of the megaspells, and was starting to rust around the edges. It was held on by simple leather straps, and the side of it, where a "3000" would be, or on an older model, a "2000," This one just said "64BASIC" and had a dull lavendar glow. She notices

[20:20:52] Sharp_Shot glances briefly down at his own PipBuck, then back up at her. "Say what? Wait, you mean this thing?" he says, lifting his leg indicitavely.

[20:25:27] Jackal "Inasaidia kwa biashara". He rolled his neck and cracked it out. "Now." He spoke in fluent Equestrian. "Any further questions?"
[20:26:26] Xelan looked at Kali, switching dialects of the zebra language. "Mae'n ymddangos, mae'n siarad yn dafodiaith ohoni."
[20:26:39] Kickstart raises his hoof. "Yeah, where are we going, exactly?"
[20:27:18] Sharp_Shot turned his attention back to the zebras and the Jackal being the head of the group, watching with confusion.
[20:27:36] Jackal A vein bulged in his head. "New Pegas. I said that already." He REALLY hated repeating himself
[20:27:40] Sharp_Shot glances at Kickstart as well when he asks the question, then turns back to Jackal.
[20:27:41] Tabasquette just giggles a little bit. "Hmm...yours is a bit...newer than mine I'd have to say. She walks over to Sharpshot and pokes at a little etching on his pipbuck that says "Copyright Stable-Tec (2075)
[20:28:31] Tabasquette then shows a similar etching on her pipbuck "Copyright CBM (1982)"
[20:29:24] Sharp_Shot watches the pegasus approach, and looks at the etchings she indicated. He nods politely, but tries to keep his attention to the rest of the group as well as her.
[20:31:16] Buck_Shot "Hey stripes, what's your name?" Buck asked Xelan as he eyed her.
[20:31:52] <Tabasquette> "I'm ready to go whenever you are, I'm just making small talk while waiting~"
[20:32:53] Xelan looks at buck and shrugs "I guess I'm strips now." She looked at Kali and shook her head. The young zebra pulled up a chair and waved Kali to teh table, looking at the pegasus in the group "Who are all of you though?"

[20:33:44] Kali had to admit she was somewhat impressed, she wondered where her learned how to speak Zebra dialect. "Os gwelwch yn dda ceisiwch ymddwyn, 1,000 o gapiau yn rhy dda i basio i fyny". She swtiched back to basic equestrian. "It's nice to meet you all."
[20:34:33] Kickstart offers his hoof. "The name's Kickstart. Medical, mechanical and all-round sciencepony."
[20:34:49] Sharp_Shot wasn't sure how to respond to the question, but an idea strikes him. He looks at his Pip-Buck, and the three names listed in the broken message. Unsure what else to do, he looks up to the group, and lists one of the three names. "I'm... Sharp Shot."
[20:35:11] Jackal sighed. "Call me what you wish. But they call me the Jackal." Somepony was bound to recognise it.
[20:36:58] Buck_Shot frowned "Come on now stripey what's your name?" Buck asked slightly annoyed.
[20:41:39] Xelan nodded to the pegasus and smiles "I like the small element mystery." She looked around and giggled at her own joke.
[20:41:55] <Tabasquette> "So, are we ready to head out then Mr. Jackal?"
[20:43:19] Jackal got up on all four hooves. "As soon as we're ready. Meet me by the side gate when you're done." And with that, he left. [Finish tonight's session by going to the side-gate when you are done]
[20:44:07] Tabasquette floats out to the side gate where Jackal is then.
[20:44:46] Sharp_Shot watches the pegasus leave, and unsure what else he could be doing until then, he gets up and follows/heads in the same direction of the side entrance.
[20:46:45] Kali begins following the others to the side gate, urging Xelan to follow
[20:47:32] Xelan stands up and starts flipping over to the gate, landing atop the gate as she looks at the pegasus. "Ready and willing to go." She smiled at Kali and nodded "Mae'r Pegasus yn ychydig yn 'n giwt, tra bod y lleill yn ychydig yn ddiflas."
[20:48:50] Kickstart heads towards the well and fills his canteen up before leisurely strolling over to the side-gate.
[20:49:25] Buck_Shot got up and walked over to the side gate. "Wow, your vary nimble stripy i like that in a mare." Buck said grinning waiting for the others.
[20:52:25] <Jackal> And so the mis-matched companions began they're epic quest for the glory of caps and bit of a flank on the side.
