- Sup, Smogon. So I've been around for ages lurking and occasionally posting and voting in suspect threads. I spend most of my time in private rooms on PS! And have made some amazing friends along the way. If you know me at all, you know I'm a real a** man. You also know that I despise playing this game but love building teams. So that's what I spend most of my time doing. Today, I'm gonna share a particular team with you all to gander at, rate, steal or whatever. While this team doesn't have any ladder peaks or tour wins (Only because I don't actually play this game often enough for that) I am certain that in dedicated hands, it easily could. Let's begin.[/CENTER]

- In a bulky metagame where people seem almost forced to use the most standard builds to consistently win with little to no leg room. I wanted to build a team that rewarded smart play BUT was still fun to use and utilized one or two things you don't commonly see in skilled play very often. To that end, I decided volt-turn with a slight twist would be the best option. It's fast paced, highly rewarding when played well, and is just plain fun imo. The twist, however; is that we have two banded behemoths to abuse all this pivoting. One of which has excellent priority while the other pretty much smashes through most of ou by itself. The goal of the team is to control momentum and rain down on the enemy team with insane offensive pressure. We do not setup, we do not hard trap, we just pivot and damage until the other team has nothing left. As a man should.

- So rather than that shameless mutt Mega Manectric, I opted for Beedrill to be my main pivot and mega. It doesn't get enough love in ou considering it does surprisingly well. Which is to be expected when you have U-turns that are comparable to Genesects, along with speed that outruns some +1 mons, fantastic attack and an ability most mons would kill for. We want to go into this thing as often as possible. Because we either pivot into something defensive to scout (That also pivots), or straight up kill and then scout the inevitable scarf revenge killer (rachi/lando) with protect. This monster is taking off chunks of hp every time it moves. Amazing pivot and late game cleaner.

- Aaand now we come to the 2nd pivot. Pretty standard but highly effective mixed rotom. I wanted something that could eat up offensive torns hurricanes, switch into landos that switch into Beedrill, check birds and still provide some form of utility. Rotom does all of this. Note that we have 30 speed ivs. This is to ensure the slower volt switch vs other rotoms, which the team wears down quite easily thank to this and a few other factors.

- Another standard set here. I opted for rocky helmet over leftovers because we need to be men and get off as much damage on everything as possible. Landorus should be played as an intimidate card when needed. Otherwise, its easy rocks+pivots vs a lot of the meta. Again 29 spe to ensure I'm slower than all other landos. (I've seen some 30 spe iv with the same idea). It's all about keeping the momentum with us, right? There are m 3 pivots. Here's the rest of the squad.

- Sigh. This thing deserves so much more love than it gets. Entei serves as the first half of my main offensive core and can do so many different things, it's nuts. Sacred Fire is an extremely powerful and miraculously accurate (95%) move that has a 50% chance to burn. Wanna switch in that rotom or other bulky water? Take a nick chunk from this + rocks and catch this burn to make you even easier to put down the next time you come in. Amoongus or some other bulky grass wanna come into rotom and get volted on? Entei comes in and now you either die (making rotoms job much easier) or something else comes in, takes a truckload, gets burned or just outright dies. Sab threatening you with a burn? Free entei. Even if entei is unfortunate enough to get knocked off, it retains its role. Thats how good sacred fire is. Helps tremendously to shatter stall with its raw power, extremespeed cleans up offensively oriented teams after they've been pivoted all over and fire types of all varieties can't even risk switching in thanks to its other two moves. It also has surprisingly solid natural bulk. Truly mans best friend.

- Having two mons that I really like keeping around that are weak to sr is lame. So we have the best spinner in the game to help imo. Starmie is incredibly versatile. With solid typing, reliable recovery AND stabbed access to one of the best moves in the game (scald) it was an easy choice. Starmie also status absorbs as well as eases up a ton of pressure from rotom as my only water resist. Starmie has a bit of leg room to work with moveslot wise. Reflect type is a great move to help with longevity vs something like bisharp (Though, I haven't really had much trouble with bisharps, I can see why someone might with this team under certain circumstances). Psyshock is a reliable stab option, ohkoing gengar and dealing with the rare cm keldeo. Tbolt is there for stuff like azu and volcanion though again, not really issues unless specific circumstances arise. But that's the case with most things.

- The final member and 2nd half of my banded offensive core. Banded tar is notorious for its incredible power and natural bulk. This thing along with my pivots and enteis amazing power + burns absolutely chew through defensive teams, and straight up ohko most things on more offensive builds. Ice punch is more for lando and gliscor if you feel like predicting so that rotom has more room to address other things. But superpower is also a fair option. Other 3 moves are elementary. your 3 pivots are coming into this thing or entei and something is dying almost always. It also functions as yet another bird check/general badass etc. Also soft traps a variety of things, such as latis, volt turning raik/manec and so forth. Extremely fun mon.

- So there it is. I finally got around to doing an rmt and I hope you guys enjoyed along with the team itself of course. I might do one of these again in the future if I'm bored enough. But for now, feel free to rate, steal, gawk at my brilliant manliness etc. Note: might add replays later. I have to track down which alts I actually played with this on. Or better yet, if you guys use it- send me the replays and I'll feature them here as examples. With credit of course.
