  1. INSTRUCTIONS:
  2. These are instructions on how to downgrade from the iOS 7 Beta to iOS 6. You will only be able to downgrade to the latest iOS 6 release (Currently that is 6.1.4 for iPhone 5, 6.1.3 for iPhone 4S). You cannot use your saved SHSH blobs on any A5+ device -- they are (currently) useless.
  3.
  4. Before attempting any downgrade, please be sure to backup all of your information.
  5.
  6. Step 1:
  7. Download the latest iOS 6 firmware for your device:
  8.
  9. iPhone 4 GSM model A1332 (iOS 6.1.3): http://j.gs/2Gnh
  10. iPhone 4 (iOS 6.1.3): http://j.gs/2Gnk
  11. iPhone 4 CDMA model A1349 (iOS 6.1.3): http://j.gs/2Gnl
  12.
  13. iPhone 4S (iOS 6.1.3): http://j.gs/2Gnm
  14.
  15. iPhone 5 GSM model A1428 (iOS 6.1.4): http://j.gs/2Gnn
  16. iPhone 5 GSM+CDMA model A1429 (iOS 6.1.4): http://j.gs/2Gno
  17.
  18.
  19. Step 2:
  20. Launch iTunes from your dock and connect your iDevice to your pc.
  21. (if iTunes wants to make a back-up, CANCEL it immediately!! Cause you want to keep your old iOS 6 back-up, so you can restore it later on).
  22.
  23.
  24. Step 3:
  25. Place your device into DFU Mode by following these steps:
  26.
  27. - Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button (at the top of your phone) at the same time.
  28. - After exactly 10 seconds release the Sleep/Wake button. Continue holding the home button until you iTunes pops up a message telling you that it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode.
  29. - The iPhone screen will remain black.
  30.
  31.
  32. Step 4:
  33. Once you receive a message telling you that your iPhone is in recovery mode, press OK then select your iPhone from the list of devices in iTunes.
  34.
  35. Hold down the Alt/Option key (or Shift in Windows) and click the Restore iPhone... button.
  36.
  37.
  38. Step 5:
  39. Select the firmware file you downloaded earlier from the window that appears and click the Open button.
  40. When asked to confirm the restore click the Restore button.
  41.
  42.
  43. Step 6:
  44. iTunes will go through the process of the restore/downgrade and after about 10-15 minutes, your device will be freshly restored to iOS 6.
  45.
  46. After the freshly installed iOS 6 you can restore your (iOS6) back-ups via iTunes.
