  1. >"How long has it been?"
  2. 3 months, I think, that sounds about right.
  3. >"Has it really been that long?"
  4. Just about.
  5. >"Wow, the time sure has flown by, hasn't it?"
  6. >You are Anon.
  7. >And you are living with the smartest and cutest pony in Equestria, Twilight Sparkle.
  8. >You both sit at her table eating dinner, her choise was a hayburger, yours was a home made salad.
  9. >You don't quite remember how you ended up here, but you were not arguing it the slightest.
  10. >It was, after all, something you wanted since you first laid eyes on the show.
  11. >A place without stress, where everyone accepted each other.
  12. >Well, almost everyone.
  13. >"You know, Anon, the others don't give you enough credit." Twilight said, before taking a munch out of her hayburger.
  14. It's nothing really, I'm just a bit different than what you girls are used to seeing.
  15. >"I know..." She sighed, "But they really should try to include you in their activities more." She says, slightly concerned.
  16. If they don't ant to invite me, it's fine. They're the ones missing out!
  17. >You both chuckle with each other.
  18. >"I'd say. You're the friendliest thing I could have ever stumbled upon! Nothing seems to bother you!" She says heartfully.
  19. >You shrug your shoulders.
  20. No need to make a deal about everything. And you are too, You're the most adorable pony ever!
  21. >She takes her head back, cheeks turning slightly red.
  22. >"Oh Anon, I can't possible be the cutest out there, certainly there are others that are more adorable than me?" She says, visibly red now.
  23. Not at all! Of any of your friends I couldn't have chosen to be with anyone better.
  24. >She lets out a small laugh, her face still as red as a lobster.
  25. >"I'm happy you think of me that way." She says shyly, taking another munch of her hayburger.
  26. >You take one last bite of your salad before finishing it, leaving Twilight with hers only half finished.
  27. >"I still can't believe how much you eat though, it's no wonder you're so large and warm!" She says.
  28.
  29. Hey, a big guy has to eat a lot, what can I say?
  30. >She loved sitting on your lap when she read any of her books.
  31. >And you loved it to.
  32. >You could sit for ages with her, just running your fingers through he silky mane.
  33. >"You know, Anon, I bet if any of the other ponies let you pet them a little, I think their attitudes might change." She stated happily.
  34. They might, the problem would be to get them to agree to it.
  35. >Twilight nodded her head as she finished swallowing another bite from her hayburger.
  36. >"Exactly, which is why tomorrow, I'm going to try and convince Rarity to come over and see for herself."
  37. >You pause for a moment.
  38. Rarity? I'm pretty sure she's the one most against me being here in Ponyville.
  39. >"Exactly, which is why if we can convince her, the other girls should be no problem to convince!" She exclaimed.
  40. >You always thought it was adorable when she brainstormed.
  41. I don't see a problem with it if you can convince her.
  42. >"Great! I knew you wouldn't mind!" She said, happily clopping her hooves together a couple of times.
  43. >She took one final bite of her Hayburger before wiping her mouth and taking yours and her plates with her magic and putting them in the sink and rinsing them.
  44. >You found your typical spot on the couch and sat down, sinking in to the chair.
  45. >After Twilight finished rinsing the dishes she walked over and hopped on the couch.
  46. What are you reading tonight?
  47. >She walked over and laid herself on your lap as was usual.
  48. >"I'm reading a new one tonight. It's a book on how stars are made and how they're destroyed. I've been meaning to read it for a while, but haven't had a chance until now." She said, using her magic to grab a book from a pile next to the couch.
  49. Stars are nice, aren't they?
  50. >As you say that, you take your finger and tickle her on her cutie mark.
  51. >"AAH! Haha, don't do that, you know I'm ticklish!" She said, writhing around on your lap.
  52. >You stop tickling her and put your hand on her head and rattle her hair a little.
  53.
  54. >As you finished tossing her hair around she lets out a light chuckle before turning the book open.
  55. >You start to fix her hair back to the way it was, glancing down at her book.
  56. >"Look at this picture Anon!" She says, pointing to a massive picture of the sky filled with stars.
  57. That sure is something!
  58. >"I know! We should go look at the stars once I've read a little bit of this!"
  59. I'm okay with that. It's perfect out for a gaze at the stars.
  60. >You start pulling your fingers through her mane.
  61. >She lets out a light sigh of happiness as she loses herself in the text of the book.
  62. >As she turns page after page, you see picture after pictures of stars, supernovas, great clumps of space dust and so on.
  63. >Each of them incredibly astounding to look at.
  64. >"These pictures are so cool, Anon!" She exclaims, looking at each of them with great detail.
  65. They really are, I'd like to see something like that up close.
  66. >"Wouldn't it be magnificent?" She says, turning around and giving you a cute smile.
  67. I couldn't imagine anything quite like something like those pictures!
  68. >You take your hand and scratch the back of her ear.
  69. >She lowers her head and flops her ears down, you knew she loved that.
  70. >She didn't even have her ear open, she was just enjoying it.
  71. >You take your hand away and go back to stroking her mane.
  72. >"Hey, Anon, how's about we go look at the stars now?" Se asks eagerly.
  73. Of course! Do you know a spot where we can watch them?
  74. >"Of course I do!" She says, hopping off your lap and on to the floor.
  75. >"Follow me!" She says, opening the door up with her magic.
  76. >She trots out the door and you followed closely behind.
  77. >The night sky is clear as can possibly be, with stars littering it with their tiny glows.
  78. >The air was slightly cool.
  79. >A perfect night for star watching.
  80. >"There's this small field just beyond a group of houses over there!" She said, pointing to a small cluster of houses.
  81. >She began walking over to them, you walked right beside her.
  82.
  83. >You two made your way between some houses to the side of the library.
  84. >It was a tight squeeze for you, but you managed to pop out on the other side.
  85. >Twilight started galloping slowly down a hill that led to an average sized pond.
  86. >The sight on the pond was amazing.
  87. >It was deep blue, and you could see the reflections of the stars off the water.
  88. >There were fireflies dancing around the edge of the pond and above it as well.
  89. >Several Willow trees with their greenery draping down ran along the pond as well.
  90. >"Come on, over here!" You hear Twilight yell over at you.
  91. >You look around before you finally catch the purple pony.
  92. >She was pretty hard to see in the dark.
  93. >She was standing next to one of the willow's that was near the water.
  94. >"Let's look at them over here!" She spurts happily.
  95. >You get close to where she is standing only to see her hop up on her hind hooves and fall back on to the grass.
  96. >"Come on, lay next to me." She says, prodding her hooves to her left side.
  97. >You walk up a little past her and open up your arms before falling back next to her.
  98. >She lets out a small 'eep' as you plop next to her, thinking you might hit her.
  99. >You arm landed right above her head, and you were laying right next to her.
  100. >You gaze up at the stars and see the sky blanketed in the bright little beads.
  101. >"Look at that one!" Twilight says, pointing her hoof up.
  102. >You follow her hoof up to see a star burning slightly more brighter than the others.
  103. Cool... doe that on have a name?
  104. >"I don't think it does..." She said, putting her hoof to her chin, trying to think if it did.
  105. How about we name iiittt..... the North Star?
  106. >She pauses for a moment.
  107. >"I like it! What made you think of that?" She asks curiously.
  108. There's a star we have back at my home we called the north star. Legend said all you had to so was look for it in the sky, and it would lead you home if you were ever lost.
  109. >"Oooooo. Does it look like this one."
  110.
  111. >You turn your head to Twilight.
  112. Kind of, it wasn't quite as bright as that one, and not nearly as bright as you.
  113. >A smile finds its way to her face, as does a small blush as well.
  114. >"Oh come on, I'm not really THAT bright... just.... a passionate learner is all..." She says, lowering her ears.
  115. Come on, don't be like that Twi, you know you're incredibly smart!
  116. >She blushes even harder.
  117. >She doesn't reply with anything, instead, she shuffles herself up and pets her head and your upper arm and extends her wings over your body and forearm.
  118. >"You're really nice, Anon. I'm so glad we're going to change Rarity's mind tomorrow." She said, burying the back of her head further in to your arm.
  119. Thanks, it's nice to know someone thinks I'm nice.
  120. >She turns her head to you.
  121. >"Why would anyone think otherwise?" She asks curiously.
  122. Well, I've just always kind of been... there. Never stood out much, people never really got to know me.
  123. >She lets out a sad sigh before pulling her sings in and turning to her side and putting her hooves around you for a big hug.
  124. >"Well, you're here now and I think you're awesome, that's all that matters!"
  125. >You put your arm around her neck and squeeze her a little and she softly rubs her head on your chest.
  126. >She opens her eyes and looks off in the distance, as if something catches her eye.
  127. >"Look at that one, Anon!" She exclaims.
  128. >You look off to your left where she is pointing to see a star, shooting across the sky.
  129. >She crawls over you and lays her tummy across yours to get a better view.
  130. >"Wooaahhh...." She says, eyes glued on to the comet.
  131. Make a wish Twilight!
  132. >"What?" She asks confused.
  133. Back where I'm from, if you see a shooting star, you make a wish!
  134. >"Okay!" She says, closing her eyes tight.
  135. >You followed suit and tried to think of something to wish for.
  136. >You thought and thought, but the more you did, the more you realized, you didn't need any more than what you had now.
  137. >Anything you could ever want was already here.
  138.
  139. >You open your eyes to see Twilight looking at you.
  140. >You look in to each other's eyes for a second before she breaks the silence.
  141. >"So what did you wish for?" She says with a smile, slightly tilting her head.
  142. I couldn't think of anything, all I could ever want is right here.
  143. >You give her a small smile back.
  144. >"Do you want to know what I wished for?" She asked eagerly.
  145. Now now, don't get too hasty, they say if you tell someone your wish, it might not come true!
  146. >"I still want to tell you though." She says, shifting herself on your stomach.
  147. Go right ahead, I'm not one to stop you.
  148. >She rests her shin on your chest while still keeping her eyes locked on yours.
  149. >"I don't ever want you to leave." She says in a soft voice.
  150. >You stare at her for a moment.
  151. I wouldn't want to leave even if my life depended on it.
  152. >She starts smiling more.
  153. >"It's hard to believe this. You haven't been here long, but I can hardly remember life before I met you!" She exclaims, raising her again.
  154. I know! Not that I have a choice in the matter, seeing as I can't remember hardly anything anyways!
  155. >You both let out a happy chuckle.
  156. >After Twilight lets out her chuckle she opens up her mouth and begin's letting out a laud yawn.
  157. >She extended her wings widely while she was stretching.
  158. >You never really realized how big her wings were.
  159. >They were probably as wide as you were tall.
  160. >She finishes and her yawn and looks back at you.
  161. >"I'm... getting pretty tired, hows about we head back to the library?" She asks, slowly walking off of you.
  162. Of course, you getting sleepy?
  163. >She stretches out her hind legs a little.
  164. >"Yeah, I could go for some sleep." She said, beginning to walk up the hill.
  165. >You got up on your feet and started walking beside her.
  166. >You both make your way up the hill and in between the houses that led way to the library.
  167. >You barely manage to squeeze through once again, but you get yourself to the other side.
  168.
  169. >You look over to the library to see the Moon brightly lighting up the sky behind the branches.
  170. >"The moon looks pretty tonight." Twilight says, staring up at it as you have.
  171. It is. Hard to believe a single pony controls it's movement.
  172. >"I know, I almost didn't believe it when I was told the stories when I was just a little filly."
  173. I wouldn't either, if someone told me that a single person controlled the moon back where I lived, I would think them crazy!
  174. >She laughs a little.
  175. >"Well, this place seems to be very different than yours, despite the similarities they seem to have on the surface." She says.
  176. It is, but not in a bad way, not at all.
  177. >Twilight uses her magic to open up the door to the library, holding it open for you.
  178. >You walk in to see the few lamps that were left lit when you left, as well as spike in his bed next to the couch you sleep on.
  179. >"Well, I'm going to head to bed, Anon." She whispers, being careful not to wake spike up, "I'll turn the lamps off when I get in bed."
  180. Okay, I'll take my spot on the couch, sleep well.
  181. >"You too." She whispered back, before walking up the stairs to her bedroom.
  182. >You hop on over to the couch and lay across it, pulling the thick blanket Twilight had gotten for you the second day you got here over yourself.
  183. >One by one the lamps flicker off until all you can see is the slightly lit-up windows and the moonlight pouring through them.
  184. >You sink your head in to the pillow and look blankly up at the ceiling.
  185. >You think about your time you've spent here so far, how the only pony who accepted you with open arms, was Twilight, who coincidentally, was also your favorite pony.
  186. >Being able to see her, talk to her, feel her and be friends with her was something beyond you could have ever hoped.
  187. >The show was right, Friendship really is Magic.
  188. >The others not paying too much of a mind to you didn't bother you too much, as long as you had Twilight by your side.
  189.
  190. >While your mind wandered, you saw something catch your eye.
  191. >A small purple light started glowing up where Twilight was sleeping.
  192. >You were curious about it, and as you tried to denounce what it was, it started moving closer to the staircase.
  193. >Once it reach the staircase you saw Twilight walking down the stairs with a small glow on her horn, using it as a light source.
  194. >She slowly walked down the stairs and too the right and came right up beside you on the couch.
  195. >"Hey anon..." She whispered.
  196. What is it?
  197. >"I... can't get to sleep, do you mind sleeping with me to help me sleep?"
  198. >This was the first time she had let you sleep in her bed.
  199. Of course.
  200. >You throw the blanket off of you so it drapes over the back of the couch before standing up.
  201. >"Sorry if I woke you, I just can't seem to get to sleep." She says, still whispering lowly.
  202. It's okay, I understand.
  203. >She smiles a little before turning around and walking back up the stairs.
  204. >You follow behind her, taking your steps slowly, as you have tripped on these stairs before because their incline is so shallow.
  205. >You reach the top of the stairs as Twilight hops on to her bed and pulls the covers up, keeping them up for you to slip under as well.
  206. >You walk up to the bed and get under the covers before Twilight lets her magic up and the blanket fall on the two of you.
  207. >As it does, Twilight shifts over to face you and gives you a big hug, wrapping her hooves around your neck.
  208. >You were caught off guard at first, but you put your arms around her too.
  209. >"You're so nice and warm." She said as she stuck her face in to your neck.
  210. I can tell you like it.
  211. >"Mmmhmmmm." She mumbles in your neck.
  212. >She pulls herself closer, you can tell she really want to get close to you.
  213. >You pull her in tighter before she stops wriggling around.
  214. >All you can feel is her breathing.
  215. >You decide to take your hand and run your fingers through her silky mane, just like she likes.
  216. >It wasn't long before you think she falls asleep in your arms.
  217.
  218. >You continue to course your fingers through her hair for a little bit.
  219. >She doesn't move hardly at all, which is nice, because you can sit there and just enjoy her embrace,
  220. >Every breathe you take in smells slightly like grapes, her hair always had a slight smell of it.
  221. >You slow down your petting and let your arm fall lazily over her.
  222. >You think it was your turn to fall asleep now.
  223. >You give Twilight a small smooch on her forehead before sinking your head into the pillow.
  224. >As you settle your head in the pillow, you feel Twilight shift a little in your arms.
  225. >She brings her head up and gives you a small smooch on the forehead as well.
  226. >Guess she wasn't asleep.
  227. >You both chuckle a little under your breaths before you return to each others embrace.
  228. >You both lay there, holding each other, moonlight shining through through the window on you two.
  229. >As you look out the window past Twilight's head you feel your eyes becoming heavy.
  230. >You close your eyes for not a moment, and you fall asleep, Twilight in arms.
  231.
  232. >You are awoken sharply to the sound of Twilight's alarm going off.
  233. >You open your eyes slowly to see Twilight lazily sprawled over your chest.
  234. >The covers of the bed were tossed and thrown around by god knows what.
  235. >She must toss and turn in her sleep.
  236. >She slowly opens up her eyes and lets out a loud yawn before shaking her head a bit to wake herself up.
  237. >This made an even bigger mess of her hair.
  238. >You raise your hand and rustle her head a little more.
  239. Mornin' Twi.
  240. >"Don't do that, my hair is already a mess as it is!" She said, trying to correct it with her hooves.
  241. Oh don't worry about it you still look great, and besides, you can fix it in the shower.
  242. >"I suppose..." She said, taking her hooves off her head and getting up on her legs.
  243. >You did as she did, you got up on your feet and stretched your back out a little.
  244. So when are you going to go to Rarity's?
  245. >"Probably after I take my shower." She states, making her way down the stairs.
  246. Alright, I'll take mine after yours, I'll make it quick so Rarity can see my so called 'awesomeness'.
  247. >"Come on now, you know you're awesome, stop being like that!" She said sternly.
  248. >You let out a small chuckle.
  249. If you insist!
  250. >Twilight rolls her eyes and walks past the table into the bathroom.
  251. >A few moments later you can hear the water turn on in the shower.
  252. >"How's it going Casanova?" You hear a voice come from the table.
  253. >You look over to see spike moving books around on the table in the room.
  254. Hey Spike, what's going on?
  255. >"Just organizing books, I take it you and Twilight are pretty close huh?" He asks.
  256. I guess you could say that.
  257. >He laughs a little.
  258. >"Twilight obviously likes you a lot! You're the only person aside from Fluttershy and Rarity who have slept in her bed with her! And trust me, being a ladies man myself, I KNOW when the ladies like someone." He says, raising his eyebrow.
  259. >You laugh to yourself.
  260. If you insist, Mr. Ladies Man.
  261. >"Hey, I would have mares all over me if I had my mustache!"
  262.
  263. You're right Spike, it's the mustache that does it.
  264. >"See, now even you agree! I can't get Twilight to agree with me on anything!"
  265. >He obviously didn't pick up on your sarcasm.
  266. >You brush it off and walk over to him to help him organize the books.
  267. So, you're serious that Twilight likes me?
  268. >"Of course! She talks about you all the time! There's no other explanation!" He exclaims.
  269. >You were starting to think there was some flaws in his logic...
  270.
  271. >You were Twilight.
  272. >And you were happy.
  273. >You didn't think Anon would have said yes to sleeping in bed with you.
  274. >It was easily the best night's sleep you had gotten in a long time.
  275. >He was so warm and comfortable be with, you wish you could wrap yourself around him and never let go.
  276. >But, you had other business.
  277. >You were going to convince Rarity, the one most avert to Anon, that he is one of the greatest humans around!
  278. >Albeit the only one.
  279. >You turned the shower on and let the water run down until it was warm enough for you to step in.
  280. >You slept so good your hair was the messiest it had been in a long time.
  281. >You walk in to the shower and close the door behind you, letting the water flow down your mane so it droops over your face.
  282. >You fix your hair and put some shampoo in it, scrubbing it as clean as you could get it.
  283. >As you let your head rink under the warm shower, you hear an enormous crash come from main library.
  284. >Spike must have fallen off the ladder again...
  285. >You let out a sigh and stop the water, opening the door and putting a towel in your hair to help it dry.
  286. >You exit the bathroom to see spike climbing himself out of a pile of books, with Anon helping him.
  287. I can't even take a shower without you making a mess spike!
  288. >"Hey, it was Anon! He dared me to climb up the library wall and try to put a book back without the ladder!" He yells back.
  289. And you listened?
  290. >He doesn't say anything for a moment.
  291. >"He called me a chicken! I HAD to prove him wrong!"
  292. Well, you sure showed him... Just make sure you clean it up quickly before I get back, I have something important I have to take care of.
  293. >"Do I have to help?" Anon asks.
  294. Yes, please. Spike can't put all those away in time, and you DID dare him to do what he did, so you both ca do it.
  295. >"Aaawwwww!" Spike says in a defeated tone.
  296. >You turn back around and head back to the bathroom and take the towel off your head.
  297.
  298. >You take your brush sitting next to the sink and brush your hair into your style you always liked.
  299. >You give your hair a good look over to make sure that there isn't any loose hairs.
  300. >You lay your brush back down on the table and walk out into the main room where you see spike and Anon haphazardly putting books back.
  301. Try not to kill yourselves guys, I'd get pretty lonely by myself.
  302. >Anon lets out a small chuckle before putting a book on one of his fingers and spinning.
  303. >"Don't worry, princess, we got it all under control." He said, maintaining the books balance.
  304. >You let out a small sigh.
  305. If you insist. Now I'm heading over to Rarity's to bring her over, hopefully we can hang out a good majority of the day so she can see just how great you are!
  306. >As that sentence exits your mouth, the book loses its balance and flies off of Anons finger, and hits spike right on the head.
  307. >"Ow! What was that for?!" Spike yells, throwing a soft punch to Anons legs.
  308. >Anon can't help but laugh, and you can't help but to plant your hoof to your face at their shenanigans.
  309. If you can't help it, at least try to stay in once piece when I get back...
  310. >"We'll try!" They both said in unison with big, exaggerated smiles.
  311. Aaaalllrriiigghhtttt, I'm going to Rarity's now.
  312. >You walk past them and open the door with your magic.
  313. And those books better get put back!
  314. >You trot happily out the door and close it behind you, satisfied at the sad tone they shared at the work they had to do.
  315. >As you began to walk to the Boutique you ran through what you would try to say to convince Rarity to hang around Anon for a while.
  316. >Maybe you could tell her that he also made dresses?
  317. >Or maybe something as simple as telling her that you wanted to show her something without telling her you both would hang out around Anon.
  318. >You couldn't possibly decide on one thing or the other.
  319. >But you had to.
  320. >As you trace through your mind for way to convince her, you find yourself at the doorstep of the boutique.
  321.
  322. >You were caught off guard, as you didn't quite realize how fast you made it to the Boutique.
  323. >You still couldn't think of anything to say, but you would look like a doofus if you just stood around thinking for something to say.
  324. >You give the door a couple of knocks.
  325. >You wait a few moments and nothing can be heard inside.
  326. >You give the door a couple more knocks and still nothing could be hard inside.
  327. >You let out a sigh of defeat, as she is most likely not home, and turn around to walk back to the Library, and maybe try again later.
  328. >"Can I help you darling?" You hear a voice say behind you.
  329. Eep!
  330. >You let out a squeal as you were caught off guard.
  331. >"Oh my, did I startle you?"
  332. >You look up to see Rarity looming over you, worried she had given you the fright of your life.
  333. Yes... but it's okay, I didn't see you come from behind me!
  334. >"Oh but I still do feel very sorry, Twilight, perhaps I can buy us lunch for the trouble?" She asks.
  335. >It clicks in your head.
  336. >You could use this to get her to know Anon.
  337. Actually, I was coming here because I was wondering if you wanted to have lunch with me and Anon, what a coincidence!
  338. >You see a slight hesitation on her face.
  339. >'Oh....Well but of course! The more the merrier right?" She says, with slight hesitation in her voice.
  340. Great! let's head to the library and go fetch him!
  341. >You happily lead the way as you trot victoriously back to the .
  342. >"Just one question darling, not that it matters much, but, if you were going to bring Anon to lunch, why didn't you bring him with you?" She asks curiously.
  343. >Dangit.
  344. >You weren't sure how to respond.
  345. Well, err, you see....
  346. >You try to think of something quickly.
  347. Anon and Spike made a mess of the Library by making bets with each other, so I made them clean up the place.
  348. >"Well, that's nice of them!" Rarity said in a happy tone.
  349. Yes, I'm glad to have 2 helpers around the Library now.
  350. >You both let out a hearty laugh as you find the Library in the close distance.
  351.
  352. >You're Anon.
  353. >You had just put the last book on the shelf.
  354. >"Boy, we sure got that done fast!" Spike says, happily throwing himself on to the couch.
  355. Yup, now we can kick it back and relax until Twilight gets back.
  356. >You plopped yourself on the couch next to Spike.
  357. >"Do you know what she's doing anyways?" Spike asks curiously.
  358. She's going to bring Rarity here to show her that I'm not as bad as she thinks I am.
  359. >The mere mention of Rarity was making Spike's face turn red.
  360. >"Oh Rarity, such elegance and beauty..." He said, staring off into what you could only assume is the next galaxy.
  361. >You roll your eyes and brush him off and relax in the chair.
  362. >"You're not going to... hit on Rarity, are you?" Spike asks nervously.
  363. >You let out a chuckle.
  364. Of course not! Why would I? Twilight just wants her to see I'm not as bad as she thinks.
  365. >"Oh, okay, just don'[t get too flirty around my girl okay?" He says in a demanding tone.
  366. Don't count on it.
  367. >And speak of the devil.
  368. >The door opens up and you see Twilight walking in with Rarity.
  369. Hey Rarity!
  370. >You give her a friendly wave to start it off on the right foot.
  371. >"Yes, hello Anon, how you you?"
  372. Good, so do we have anything planned Twilight?
  373. >You see Twilight's face go nervous.
  374. >"Wh-Why yes, we were going to lunch, remember?"
  375. Umm.. I don't remember you saying anything about lunch, but sure, I'm down for it.
  376. >She gives you an angry scold before looking nervously at Rarity.
  377. >"Did you lie to me about taking me to lunch with you and Anon?" Rarity, asks, slightly insulted.
  378. >"Well... not entirely. You see I was going to ask you to just hang out with Anon, but I didn't want to put it bluntly, because I thought you would say no..."
  379. >You see a small smile come across Rarity's face.
  380. >"Oh darling, why didn't you just ask? I know I haven't been the most hospitable to Anon, but, you could have just asked." Rarity responded.
  381. >"Oh, so you do want to hang around Anon!?" Twilight said with an excited tone.
  382.
  383. >"Oh... but of course!" Rarity exclaims in an excited tone.
  384. >You decide to move over a little on the couch and let Rarity take a spot on the end on the couch.
  385. Come on over!
  386. >You can see she's a little hesitant.to do so.
  387. >"I must say, I do enjoy standing, it's much more lady-like." She says, trying to think of a reason
  388. Nonsense! You girls walked over here you deserve a chance to sit!
  389. >You keep a large smile on your face.
  390. >You could tell it was how Pinkie could convince them to do things they were hesitant to do.
  391. >"Well... I suppose I could..." She says, slowly walking over to the couch.
  392. >She hops up on to the couch next to you.
  393. >You spins in a circle twice, prodding her hooves at the couch to make it more comfortable.
  394. So how's the boutique going?
  395. >She sits herself down next to you.
  396. >"It's going well, Sales aren't as much as I had hoped, but that will change when prom season comes, Ponies come from all corners of Equestria for my dresses!"
  397. That's impressive! You must really like it.
  398. >You decide to push it a little.
  399. >You take your hand and put it on her back and stroke up and down.
  400. >"I do! It truly is a- What are you doing?" Sh asks, giving you a confused look.
  401. Just petting you, Twilight love s it when I do it.
  402. >"It really feels great! Just let him." Twilight re-enforces,
  403. >You could see her questionable face turn into one of relaxation once she felt your hand up and down her back.
  404. >"Well, I suppose you're right, aren't you, your hands feel great." She said wiggling a bit in her spot.
  405. >You decide to push it just a little more.
  406. >You take your hand off and scratch the back of her ear.
  407. >"Ah, oh my!" She says, startled lowering her head a bit and twitching her ear.
  408. >"Aaaahhhh, that feels so.... odd, but I love it!" She says, gritting her teeth a little as if it's tickling her.
  409. I can stop if you want.
  410. >"Oh no, please continue, this is lovely!"
  411.
  412. >You do this for a bit, as Rarity seems to be enjoying herself.
  413. >You decide to use your left hand on hr ear and stroke her back with your right hand.
  414. >She seems like she is completely relaxed.
  415. >She has her head all the way down and her eyes are half open.
  416. >"So, what do you think Rarity?" Twilight asks curiously.
  417. >"I must say Anon... I thought wrongly about you. I'll be honest I thought you nothing more than a monkey who could talk. Could I ever ask you to forgive me?" Rarity asks, turning her head around with a sorrowful look.
  418. Of course, how can I not say yes to that cute face?
  419. >You scratch underneath her chin and she closes her eyes and gives a satisfactory smile.
  420. >"You think you should write about what you learned for Celestia, Rarity?"
  421. >"Oh of course, give me some paper and a quill, I'll write it, if Anon here doesn't mind."
  422. Not at all, write away!
  423. >Twilight grabbed a quill and paper off the table with her magic and put it in front of Rarity who used her magic to pick it up.
  424. >She thought for a second before putting her quill to the paper and writing away.
  425. >You kept up your stroking of her white coat and occasionally scratching her ear.
  426. >You think you found what these ponies liked most.
  427.
  428. >"Aaaand.. done!" Rarity said, making one last pen mark on the parchment.
  429. >"Mind if we read it Rarity?" Twilight asks.
  430. >"Not at all, here Anon, you can read it!" She says, lifting it up with her magic and placing it in your hand.
  431. >You clear your throat and begin to read the parchment.
  432. >The writing is very elegant, and old-time looking, but you read it to the best of your ability.
  433. Dear Princess Celestia,
  434. Today I learned, it's not on the outside that makes a pony what they are, but rather who they are on the inside. It matters not where they are from or how they look like, we are all one in the same, and it is wrong to judge others based on first looks. There are ponies out there that may looks a little different from the others, but that doesn't make them any less of a pony, they are the same as us and should be given an equal chance. It's often those that are judged first that are not only the loneliest, but also have the biggest hearts.
  435. Sincerely
  436. -Rarity
  437.
  438. That's very nice Rarity, thank you very much.
  439. >You open up your arms for a hug and she gives you a big hug in return.
  440. >"My my, you are a warm one, do you not feel like your on fire?" She asks curiously and worried.
  441. >"Hahaha, don't worry Rarity, he's always like that, it's part of what makes him awesome!" Twilight said, joining in for a group hug.
  442. Come on guys, I've already told you I'm not 'amazing', I don't have a special talent like you two do, I don't know my way around this world, and I'm not the most co-ordinated person by far!
  443. >Twilight lifts her head up and meets you at eye level.
  444. >"Oh Anon, you may not have a great talent or be the most co-ordinated person ever..." She stopped and gave you a small smooch on the forehead.
  445. >"It's all the little things that make you the great person you are." She said, before coming back in for an enormous group hug once more.
