Joy believes that you can find music in everything around you! But most of all she's interested in the kind of songs that love brings forth and her songs usually reflect this. Her motivation for setting out across the land is to witness a display of the fabled "True Love." so she can turn it into one of her songs.



Trouble: Mai The Misdreavus

The first pokemon Joy managed to catch was a Misdreavus she encountered when practising her music in an abandoned building, in reality the pokemon actually captured her and drained away any emotional capacity the girl had to understand the concept of love, causing her to misunderstand the strangest things for love. It appears that the prankster now follows Joy around because she's fun to laugh at.



Personal Aspect: Feel My Love!

Joy is exceptionally good at manipulating the emotions of those around her with her music and can usually bring out the response she wants from within them. This power is something that she has been known to abuse a few times by forcing people to do her bidding with an almost supernatural hold over them! Who will be forced to get her a soda next?!
