  1. Here I will list roughly the typical ages for vampires of each generation. [hr]
  2.
  3. 1st generation: There is only one vampire of this generation in existence, the original Caine. Nearly as old as existence itself.
  4.
  5. 2nd - 3rd generation: Notably before recorded history
  6.
  7. 4th generation: Around 5,000 BC
  8.
  9. 5th generation: 3,000-2,000 BC
  10.
  11. 6th generation: 1,500 BC- 0 AD
  12.
  13. 7th Generation: AD 500 - AD 900
  14.
  15. 8th generation: AD 800-AD 1500
  16.
  17. 9th generation: AD 1300- AD 1900
  18.
  19. 10th generation: AD 1450- Present
  20.
  21. 11th generation: AD 1550- Present
  22.
  23. 12th generation: AD 1700- Present
  24.
  25. 13th generation: AD 1900- Present
  26.
  27. 14th and 15th generations: Less than one century[hr]
  28.
  29. With any generation there are outliers, sometimes to a great degree. Those are average ages. However, for a modern day vampire to be sired by any generation older than 10th, they must be extremely promising, to an incredible degree.
  30.
  31. Generations older than 8th are disallowed from normal play. Sixth or seventh may be played with moderator permission if you have a good reason, a good backstory, and the staff judge you to be a sufficiently skilled roleplayer. Any older generations are plot characters to be played only by staff.
