  1. I am a fully licensed and ordained minister of the Southern Baptist Convention with 26 (give or take a few months) experience. I have been retired for the last 4 years, but would like to return to service as a police and/ or prison chaplain. I am also an experienced police chaplain. My reasons are 1.) loss of my retirement funds when Japan had their earthquake and, 2.) desire to "pay forward" the service given me by the doctors who saved my life last year after a stroke/major heart attack/ broken back landed me in the hospital for almost 3 1/2 months. I am also motivated by the large hospital bills I owe.
  2. I have not been able to find the proper place to apply online for a chaplain's position as all positions on the web site refer to corrections officer, etc. Can you direct me, or can I submit a resume through this mail form? I have a master's degree in theology and ministry ( M.Div.) and a dual undergraduate degree in archaeological anthropology, making me uniquely prepared for a chaplaincy. I am also motivated by my near brush with death last year. Further, I have an interest in all things having to do with law enforcement.
  3. Since I can't find anyplace on the web site to apply for a chaplaincy, May I submit a resume through this contact, or can you direct me as to where to apply?
  4. Regards, in Christ,
  5. Rev. Al Rowe
