  1. Nations
  2.
  3. Full Description
  4. Defining Nations
  5. Nations would be a plugin that would allow the Minecraft world to be
  6. divided into ‘nations’. ‘Nations’ would be able to be defined by someone
  7. with the permission to do so. Anywhere that is not defined as a ‘nation’
  8. would be the ‘deadzone’ area. A ‘nation’ would be defined with a ‘nation
  9. wand’ which can be obtained by typing /nations wand . With this, a user
  10. can select as many ‘waypoints’ as they want, and then type /nations define
  11. <nation name> to set the nation. Within the ‘waypoints’ set, from sky to
  12. bedrock, is where the ‘nation’ will be set.
  13.
  14. Nation Configuration
  15. There would be various options that a user with the permission to do so
  16. can set for a nation. They would be set with /nation config <nation>
  17. <option> <value> . They include:
  18. - PvP values: true/false description: Defines whether or not pvp is
  19. allowed in the nation default: true
  20. - MobSpawn values: true/false description: Defines whether or not
  21. hostile mob spawning is allowed in the nation default: true
  22. - Regen values: none/slow/medium/fast description: sets the rate at
  23. which health regenerates default: medium
  24. - Effects values: speed/jump/haste/regen/strength/none description:
  25. sets what effects a user has permanently within the nation, any
  26. number of effects can be specified, separated by a comma (eg.
  27. speed,haste) default: none
  28. - Greeting values: any text with color codes description: sets the
  29. message a user receives when they enter the nation default:
  30. &aWelcome to the nation!
  31. - Exit values: any text with color codes description: sets the message a
  32. user receives when they exit the nation default: &aYou’re leaving the
  33. nation!
  34.
  35. Players and Nations
  36. When a player joins the server for the first time, by default they are not in
  37. any nation. They can join a nation by running the command /nation join
  38. <name> , the nations can be listed off to them through /nation list . Once
  39. they join a nation, they will be teleported to it, and they will be able to
  40. build in it (they cannot build in other nations). Players will be only be able
  41. to join one nation at a time, if they wish to switch, they will have to run the
  42. command /nation immigrate <nation name> and they will have 20 minutes
  43. to type /nation immigrate confirm otherwise the immigration will be
  44. canceled. If they type the confirmation, they will be automatically be
  45. teleported to a new nation, all of their money will be converted into that
  46. nation’s currency, and they will be able to build in their new nation, there
  47. is a configured cost for immigration. Players can also temporarily travel to
  48. other nations through /nations travel <nation name> , and it will send them
  49. to that nation. It costs a configured amount each time a player travels
  50. from nation to nation. If a player gets teleported to another nation by a
  51. third party plugin (eg. Essentials via /warp), the plugin will deny a player to
  52. do so unless they type /nations travel <nation name> . A player can be
  53. banned from entering a certain nation by someone who has permission,
  54. the command /nations ban <nation name> <player> would be run to do so.
  55. The Dead Zone
  56. The Dead Zone , would be the area in between nations; anywhere where a
  57. nation is not defined, is considered part of the dead zone. When a player
  58. crosses into the dead zone, they are given the slowness potion effect, and
  59. on and off nausea effect (nausea for 5 seconds, then no nausea for 25).
  60. Mobs spawn three times as fast, there is no health regeneration, and the
  61. surface is infested with cave spiders and witches. In the deadzone, no fly or
  62. godmode or creative mode will be possible. Though, when an ore is mined,
  63. it will drop 3x the amount of the item. When a user leaves the deadzone,
  64. the effects will be removed, and they will start regenerating health as
  65. normal.
  66.
  67. Nation Economy
  68. Each nation has their own economy. The users that belong to a certain
  69. nation will have to use that specific economy, and their balance will be in
  70. that. A user with the permissions to do so can take money away from a
  71. player with /neco take <amount> <player> and give with /neco give
  72. <amount> <player> as well as set their balance with /neco set <amount>
  73. <player> . A player can transfer money with /neco transfer <amount>
  74. <player> , and check their balance with /neco bal . If a player spends money
  75. in a nation that is not their own, the money they spend will be converted,
  76. as well as the money they earn.
  77. Economy Configuration
  78. There would be various options that could be set for each nation’s
  79. economy by someone with the permission to do so. They would be set
  80. with /neco config <nation> <option> <value> .
  81. - Name values: any 3 letters description: the name of the economy for
  82. their nation default: first three letters of nation name
  83. - Ratio values: (1-10):10 description: sets the ratio at which one dollar
  84. in the specific economy is worth compared to the standard default:
  85. 10:10
  86. - Interest values: a percentage description: sets the rate at which a
  87. user receives interest to their balance per week default: 0

  89. nation default: 1000
  90. - ImmigrateCost values: money description: sets the cost to immigrate
  91. to the nation default: 10000
  92. Economy Signs
  93. Economy signs would be created by someone with the permission to do
  94. so, it would be laid out like this:
  95. [Buy]
  96. <amount>
  97. <item name>
  98. <price>
  99. [Sell]
  100. <amount>
  101. <item name>
  102. <worth>
  103. When a user clicks a buy sign, they will be given the specific amount of
  104. items, and the money will be taken away from them. When a user clicks a
  105. sell sign, they have the amount of item taken away from them, and they
  106. will receive the money.
  107. Nation Rules
  108. Each nation will have its own set of rules. A user with the permissions to do
  109. so can add a rule to a nation with /nation addrule <nation> <rule> . Rules
  110. can be read by players with /nation rules . When a rule is added, it is
  111. automatically added to the bottom of the list. A rule can be removed by
  112. /nation removerule <nation> <number that rule appears on list> .
  113.
  114. Brief Description
  115. Nations will allow nations to be defined on the map, where nations are not
  116. claimed is the dead zone. Each nation has different properties (such as pvp
