<NartFOpie> why does exuberant help osiris? why is she against the application of the mantle when she was presumably created by forerunners who used the mantle?

<TDSpiral> I think it's because she recognizes that human-created AI were not meant to be the Reclaimers of the Mantle
<TDSpiral> Also, yeah, she wants control of her installation again

<NartFOpie> the way she describes the mantle to osiris makes it seem like she is totally against it
<NartFOpie> not just the created using it
<NartFOpie> is it supposed to seem like cortana has been somehow corrupted/changed by the domain? because she really doesn't seem like the same character at all any more

<NartFOpie> the phrase she says is something like "the threat of death suppressing the expression of all life!!! :O "

<NartFOpie> seems to me that Total Flood Victory ~= Pacification under the mantle
<NartFOpie> and cortana certainly didn't seem in favor of the flood winning
<TDSpiral> I guess that's just what I understood Exuberant's motivation to be- just to stop the Guardians from being used as a supression tool by a false Reclaimer
<NartFOpie> she never really says anything to that effect, but I guess it's better than nothing
<NartFOpie> this is exuberant's question, but I don't think it was answered: why did cortana recall all(?) the guardians to genesis?

<NartFOpie> but she literally just sends them all out back to populated systems afterwards
<NartFOpie> why call them all together at all?
