  1. Character Name: Morgwynn
  2.
  3. Character Age: 26
  4.
  5. Character RPL: 215
  6.
  7. Your Magic: Earth / Nature / Bone / Undead
  8.
  9. What are you requesting?: To unbind my soul from my Necromancer and bind it to my weapon instead, unshackling it from the restraints of other undead. As a result I would like to request to scar my two perms (a mythril kitted -10 and an arc kitted -40) and would also like to bump up the stats of my weapon a little if possible (some extra vit?) as well as update its name and description. Also I'd like to ask for Telepathy to allow for communication if separated from her body.
  10.
  11. As for the fluff of it, I'd like to be able to consider my physical body entirely expendable and have it be able to regenerate from wounds that others would consider lethal with the main weakness being her weapon. While I will likely leave it to a future app, I would also like to be able to influence those that end up wielding the weapon in the future and whisper to them.
  12.
  13. I will also be spending 10 Undeath on this.
  14.
  15. Development
  16.
  17. TL;DR
  18. This section is very long and covers Morgwynn's entire life. I felt it was necessary to provide the context of her growing thought processes and what would lead her to wanting to separate herself from her Necromancer like this and chase her own ambitions.
  19.
  20. The short version: Morgwynn's first encounter outside of Perdition led to her making a friend rather than ending in combat. Said friend was going through issues parallel to Morgwynn's own and so they helped bolster each other. Morgwynn began to want to become more than she was. She fought until champion, with said friend offering herself to her necro to help that final bit. Once champion she opted a disguise and began to manipulate others into allowing her and her master sanctuary. This ended once Vdalion accepted Necromancers and led into a private war against Dal'Thala. Morgwynn grew tired of all the chainverbing and sought to be something more, circling back to her initial growth.
  21.
  22. She eventually somewhat betrayed her Necromancer's expectations by letting someone live and risking herself with no reward for the sake of another. Yet despite this her Necromancer supported her choices and her growth and so they opted to come up with this ritual to allow her to move beyond the restrictions of current undead.
  23. The weapon she is binding to is a glaive created for her by Shaggard, during the creation process she infused her flesh and spirit into the nyctorre, to bind it to her. Since its creation she has 'fed it' by injuring 30 people, 7 of those being perms. It may be made of somewhat normal materials (an ultra staff and nyctorre) but I hope all the combat it has seen has given it enough development of its own.
  24.
  25. Creation
  26.
  27. Morgwynn's creation was nothing special. There was no ideas of them being destined for greatness nor any special fanfare around what they were made from, nor who they were made by. They were not even their Necromancer's first creation. And so the ritual to raise her was done in a cold, bloody room with just her master present. She was given two main orders to follow:
  28.
  29. "To serve."
  30.
  31. "To grow."
  32.
  33. Being risen in Perdition meant they were surrounded with other undead and a talk with Mara helped her acclimate to her new existence. Though what really stuck with the new undead was the oppressive feeling of being alone, despite being surrounded by others. The nature of their existence made them feel isolated and withdrawn, unable to reach out and form connections. Morgwynn had already begun to accept her role as just a tool, something to be wielded and not something that existed to experience.
  34.
  35. Perdition fell to the forces of Aphros and the brief moment of safety she held vanished. With her Master fleeing into isolation in the deserts, Morgwynn was left to wander the lands in search of purpose... but more importantly, the essence of the living for her Master.
  36.
  37.
  38. First Foray Into The World
  39.
  40. Left to wander, Morgwynn came across another within the desert, Basket the Orca Sirenian. With her standing commands there was no need to immediately attack and so instead Morgwynn started a conversation. Ultimately, this conversation would prove to be the most important one in all of Morgwynn's development. They spoke with a little apprehension towards one another to begin with, but eventually settled into wishing to learn more about one another. Their idle attacking of the native Domice also allowed for a light bit of practice for Morgwynn's magics.
  41.
  42. Ultimately, they both realised their circumstances were strangely similar. Both stuck between conflicting parts of their existence. Morgwynn being between life and death while Basket was between the worship of Inki and Yama. It was a circumstance that formed a bond between them, one that would develop further over the years. Perhaps the largest contributor to Morgwynn continuing on following the order "To grow".
  43.
  44. Though while her emotional growth was now just beginning, her physical growth would not be far behind. She would soon face her first bout of combat against the boy Lei. It was difficult, but they were both equally inexperienced and Morgwynn only just managed to eke out a victory. Her first taste of combat and her first collection of undeath.
  45.
  46. Realising how in equipped she was for the task her Master had given her, she travelled to the neutral town of Final Frontier and worked out a deal with its leader, Acantho. A new weapon was acquired and her armour was enchanted. Acantho would be the second person she approached without hostile intent and another who seemed to not mind what she was. Though given the nature of her existence, and what was required of her, she couldn't merely befriend everyone she came across.
  47.
  48. The Beginning Of Combat
  49.
  50. In the wilderness, Morgwynn came across her first target, the first person she would initiate hostilities with, the Kitsune Suzume. Despite the loss it proved an important step forwards in her development, the willingness to attack others mainly driven by her orders from her Necromancer, but partially driven by herself. Part of her still held onto the want to form connections and to remove this isolated feeling.
  51.
  52. The resulting injury may have been temporary but still required treating, and so she would return to Acantho and get herself patched up, strengthening the burgeoning bond they had.
  53.
  54. The next person she came across in the wilds would be one that would affect her life more than even Basket did, Unknown, the Storm Magi, their conversation started pleasantly, but her standing orders kicked in resulting in combat. Morgwynn lost and retreated, but the pair would meet many more times over the years.
  55.
  56. The fighting continued, coming across Melain Silvanas and Annalyse another two fights that Morgwynn would lose, but would bring her halfway to the next step in her development. Ultimately, she would run into Kafka and this loss ended up in permanent injury for the undead, a part of her being taken, never to be returned. However, this last essence, alongside the essence that Mara gifted to her Master, meant that Morgwynn had enough to evolve further. Gaining flesh upon her bones and a face, one that would further cause her to question the nature of her existence.
  57.
  58. Humanity
  59.
  60.
  61. With her new flesh, Morgwynn first paid a visit to Basket. The journey was twofold, first to acquire the materials to create a kit that could patch up her missing bone. But, the second reason was to simply speak with someone that held no hostilities towards her. Internally, she struggled with the idea of attacking her, but managed to justify things, convincing herself that "to grow" also means her growth as an individual mentally and emotionally, which Basket was essential to.
  62.
  63. The conversation allowed Morgwynn to confirm her own desires, of wanting to pursue her own wants but knew the caveat that it required her Master's work to come to fruition, to create a "perfect undead". A distant goal, but one she was compelled to chase, if only for her own sake. It was at this point that Basket offered her essence freely for Morgwynn to take, an act of self sacrifice and friendship she didn't believe she was worthy of. The offer was declined, and instead she posed that it should be her Master that did the harvesting.
  64.
  65. With the resources acquired she visited Acantho, who repaired the leg with a replacement however while there she ran into K'thul, part of the Sirenian cult. Wanting to learn more for Basket's sake she ended up discussing the nature of their worship with him as well as dragging out some names of other cultists, something that would be given to Basket at a later date.
  66.
  67. To Grow
  68.
  69. Morgwynn spent time gathering undeath. First, running into Unknown again and losing. While attempting to goad someone into trying to prove themselves, she ran into Frank Fingers a doctor of Dal'Thala who revealed himself to be Acolyte of Perdition. To keep his cover safe she made a demand of some healing elixirs from him and moved to wait for him at a public location. Unfortunately this led to another fight which she would again lose.
  70.
  71. More fights proceeded. Antoinetta de Loraine and Logan Ackers were both attacked one after the other though again Morgwynn lost both fights. She returned to Basket and lamented her losses, the growing worry that she simply wasn't good enough as a tool. She was reassured and Basket had made up her mind. They travelled to the desert together and Basket allowed for Morgwynn's Necromancer to drain her of her vitality.
  72.
  73. On an outing, Morgwynn came across Rarvon who was attempting to broker a deal. Seeing it go south, he hexed the one he was dealing with to attempt to get them to attack Morgwynn in his stead, it did not work, but that immediate betrayal would be remembered.
  74.
  75. She would run into an old foe once more, Suzume, they fought and this time Morgwynn proved victorious. Though her victory celebration would be short-lived as she was immediately attacked and defeated by Mephistopheles. Undeterred, the hunt continued until she came across Ori The Wolf, it was another loss but left Morgwynn at one essence away from achieving the height that her Necromancer could create.
  76.
  77. The final undeath would be claimed, but it wouldn't be forced through combat. Using guile she managed to convince Arthur to allow her to drain it from him willingly. With this, she returned to her Necromancer, who advanced her onto the final stage he was capable of. Champion of the Undead.
  78.
  79. Almost immediately upon her ascension, Morgwynn ran into an old rival again, Unknown. And she managed to defeat him. However, instead of the two of them separating as soon as the fight concluded, they talked. A respect was developed between them, a mutual want to see the other grow and improve in order to have a greater fight in the future.
  80.
  81. Kheel - Diplomacy
  82.
  83. Given that she had now ascended to the pinnacle of what undeath alone could achieve, Morgwynn felt her order 'To Grow' had been stifled in one area. And so, in order to continue her growth of her emotional side, she opted for a disguise. Kheel. A metal helmet that's only feature lay in a single solid glow of colour vertically down its centre.
  84.
  85. Donning it, she travelled to Port Fortune, where she first encountered Vessix. He believed they had met earlier and that they had some sort of history. While she initially disputed the fact, she didn't try too hard, and instead pulled him into a conversation. Without giving too much away, they agreed to meet at a later date, with Kheel getting Vessix' word he would not cause any problems when she revealed her identity.
  86.
  87. Using the disguise, Morgwynn travelled to Aphros, where they would run into Xenara a stuttering mess of a person, someone that she felt could be moulded to her will quite easily. Words were exchanged and ultimately Xenara was convinced to help Kheel whenever it was required.
  88.
  89. The time to meet Vessix came, and while she initially attempted to charm him, upon its failure she instead opted to simply reveal her nature to him. They discussed their similarities and their differences and once more Morgwynn stated her want to be something more than she was. To be more complete.
  90.
  91. Using the disguise another attempt at charm was attempted, this time with Stede Vane. Knowing that he had lost a close friend to other undead, she wished to test how far his loyalties stood, perhaps as a comparison to her own. However she also found herself divulging some of her own insecurities as well as her hatred of how dull her emotions seemed compared to those she had come across.
  92.
  93. The conversation was also used to attempt to secure a place for her Master and her to stay after Perditions destruction. Port fortune was the first attempt though Final Frontier was also discussed with Acantho.
  94.
  95. Pushing her luck, and the extent of her disguise, she travelled to Dal'Thala and once more ended up in a fight with Unknown, winning once more and equalling their score to 2-2. The fight left him injured and so she took him to Vessix to get patched up. During the conversation, given everyone there knew her true form, the disguise was shed as they spoke. And she successfully managed to convince him to think about housing her and her Master within Dal'Thala. As incentive, she revealed that a Doctor of Dal'Thala, Frank Fingers, was the Necromancer's aide, Acolyte.
  96.
  97. Kheel revealed their identity to Xenara, or at least their nature, resulting in the girl's confusion, believing the undead to be evil and uncaring. Morgwynn disputed this though her views were still not too bright, considering her enemies to be little more than livestock to be harvested as needed.
  98.
  99. Another discussion was had with both Stede Vane and Camino de Camino about her possible stay within Port Fortune but these discussions fell through as they would be little more than tolerated while she required somewhere where they could find support.
  100.
  101. Wishing to see if Vessix acted upon the information she gave him, she returned to Dal'Thala and spoke with a Faeborne there, Sinnoriel. They discussed things and eventually led to Morgwynn revealing her true self to him. A philosophical discussion followed with Morgwynn revealing how little she cared of the other undead and how willing she was to put them down in order to advance her master.
  102.
  103. The End To Diplomacy And The Return To harvest
  104.
  105. Vdalion, home of the giants, proclaimed that they were willing to house necromancers with open arms. Thanks to this, all of the diplomacy Morgwynn had been doing was no longer required. They now had a safe place for themselves and their master and so previous niceties ran out.
  106.
  107. Upon her next visit to Final Frontier, Morgwynn was introduced to Acantho's golem constructs. And immediately she began to wonder if they could be harvested as other living beings could. Acantho overheard and the ensuing argument escalated until Morgwynn was forced to fight two of the Golems together. She lost, but her hypothesis was proven. she could harvest them for what was required.
  108.
  109. Shortly afterwards she ran into the Golems again and managed to catch one of them out, defeating it and harvesting its pseudo life force.
  110.
  111. One morning, that seemed no different from any other, Morgwynn came across a retinue of Dal'Thala members alongside the giant Glufdor. Their argument soured and led to combat. This small spark ended up igniting a personal war Morgwynn would have with Dal'Thala.
  112.
  113. She fought with Ushinawareta, and ended up crushing her leg into an unusable state, starting another rivalry. Xenara arrived and thanks to the earlier manipulation, Morgwynn managed to command her to turn from her friends in Dal'Thala and offer her aid above them. Aurona stepped up to fight next, and was defeated by Morgwynn and yet before things could fully settle down another stepped forwards, Uther, someone Morgwynn had declined to harvest in the past due to his age. He attacked and was defeated by Morgwynn.
  114.
  115. The collected undeath and a piece of Arcanium was brought to her master and was warped into a chunk of Nyctorre. The cursed metal was brought to Shaggard, the lead artificer of Vdalion and they discussed what it could be used for in future.
  116.
  117. Boldly, she returned to Dal'Thala again in the guise of Kheel and ended up in several fights back to back. First defeating the Ursidae Yvon Hojo another future rival. Next came Ushinawareta again another victory. Before finally defeating Suzuka as well.
  118.
  119.
  120. Attempting to pass through Menagerie in her disguise it was instead revealed by Ushinawareta with the situation escalating until she ended up having to fight Lucien Valmonte, losing. However she didn't quite leave immediately and instead opted to fight another. One more loss, to Melain Silvanas, but the final bit on Undeath her master required to raise another undead.
  121.
  122. Yet now they would require even more undeath to advance them to a more complete form, and so the harvest continued. Travelling to Final Frontier Morgwynn confronted Acantho about his recent announcement about wanting to capture and study an undead. And defeated him in the process.
  123.
  124. In the wilderness, more of Dal'Thala's people were come across, two captains. Orlisarte and Kvothe. The former attacked and defeated Morgwynn, however Kvothe's red psychosis flared up and caused him to attack Morgwynn as well, she defeated him, despite her wounds.
  125.
  126. But it would seem that fate would not allow Morgwynn rest against the people of Dal'Thala. Yvon came across her and again they clashed, with Morgwynn winning. The fight was immediately followed with another one against Fleur, Morgwynn won but was immediately attacked by Uther again. He too was defeated and was immediately followed by Ah'wu. She fell against Morgwynn but was immediately replaced with the final opponent, Levi. And Morgwynn proved her strength, having beaten all five of the foes sequentially while already injured.
  127.
  128. Pax Mors, Glaive Of Death's Champion
  129.
  130. A few months after creating the Nyctorre, Shaggard was finally ready to use it in the creation of a weapon. Using an earth sceptre as a base, the Nyctorre was infused with Morgwynn's blood, bone and flesh as it was forged into the blade of a glaive. Pax Mors.
  131.
  132.
  133. She immediately went to test the weapon, sneaking into Dal'Thala and running into Suzuka once more. Unfortunately, it led to Morgwynn's defeat, not being used to the new weapon and its eccentricities. But she had discovered that it, alongside her, seemed to siphon just a little of a person's life essence, feeding itself and growing slightly, with each fight.
  134.
  135. Still, there was one more she was eager to test the blade against. She ran into Unknown again and they fought, resulting in her loss. 3-2 to the storm magi. Though soon after she was assaulted by Beatrice Mooney and the glaive was allowed its first true taste of another.
  136.
  137. The war with Aphros came over Bjornheim, something Morgwynn didn't have too much vested interest in but managed to find another to sink her blade into, feeding it once more.
  138.
  139. More battles with the people of Dal'Thala followed, with her glaive biting into Kvothe and Rhys. Yet before she could leave, yet more people challenged her, with Murky Emu and Tiber also tasting the edge of her blade. And still one more approached her, Entropy, the partner of Ushinawareta, the one that Morgwynn had crushed prior. Entropy did not fare much better and resulted in her hand being sliced off by Pax Mors. Another five consecutive fights won.
  140.
  141. Her fate remained intertwined with Dal'Thala and it's people as once more she came across Uther. He charged her and ultimately met with a much worse fate than the last two times they clashed. His leg was cut off below the knee by her blade. An undead attacked next, and subsequently also had their arm cleft from them.
  142.
  143. However amongst the fighting there was still some time for discussions on her nature. She shared a talk with Mia Renee from Vdalion on her own nature and existence compare to the beliefs of those who worshipped Nemea. Once more Morgwynn had left a conversation feeling that her existence was left wanting.
  144.
  145. Once more she came across Fleur but instead of it resulting in a fight... they spoke, peacefully. Morgwynn lamented her existence though affirmed that she is what she was thanks to her own efforts and choices. Yet she was still bound to the will of another, never quite as free as everyone else was. Envious of their freedoms.
  146.
  147. Morgwynn ran into Acantho and a litany of his Golems alongside two of his assistants, Arty and Fleur. They spoke, with high tensions until, eventually, both sides conceded to apologising to one another and ending the bad blood between them. Though of course, Morgwynn was the only one entirely in the wrong, yet she managed to wring it out to equal responsibility.
  148.
  149. Another outing led her to running into another from Dal'Thala, Mauve. Once Morgwynn's identity was confirmed, the faeborne attacked, only to be impaled upon the end of her glaive. Leaving a non-fatal, but permanent injury. Though she was soon avenged by Dane, who managed to just barely best Morgwynn in combat.
  150.
  151. The Endless Fighting
  152.
  153. As should now be expected, Morgwynn once more ran into a retinue from Dal'Thala. A small amount of goading got Uther to strike at her, where instead he was rewarded with a Glaive in his side, cracking his ribs and rending his flesh, another permanent injury. Finnian attempted to avenge him, and lost an eye in the process. Levi attacked next, though thanks to the words of Ah'wu was left with just combat injuries. Ah'wu then stepped up but ended up captured, her hip pulled out of its socket to prevent escape. Myria attempted to rescue her, but proved ineffective.
  154.
  155. With the captured Ookami in tow, Morgwynn made her way back to Vdalion, before stopping halfway there. Instead, turning towards Dal'Thala and bringing Ah'wu back to her home. An act of mercy, one Morgwynn stated was due to her wanting a better challenge. However, that wasn't the real reason. She had grown bored of the fighting, of her current existence. Of the ceaseless combat and hatred. She had always wanted to be more than this, more than just a tool, to be an individual, something she had discussed with Basket all those years ago.
  156.
  157. She visited Ah'wu again later, at her home. And despite the obvious tension, they had an amenable conversation. Where she confessed of her boredom at her own nature, and her wish to change things about herself.
  158.
  159. For the first time in a while, the Kheel disguise was deployed to full effect. Using it to sit with those she had injured in the past, and speak amicably discussing what they thought of Morgwynn and what their own goals and aspirations were. She got absorbed in the conversation, feeling, for once, that she belonged somewhere. Though it could not last forever. Not when Vessix arrived.
  160.
  161. They clashed, finally, and Morgwynn came out on top, injuring the king. Though her victory was short lived, being captured by Orlisarte just afterwards. She was at their mercy, completely, and felt as though this was the end. She felt Orlisarte pour his magics into her, wounding her grievously. Yet... death did not come. It would seem that her previous mercy to Ah'wu was being paid back in kind.
  162.
  163. Staggering, she returned back to Vdalion, Where her master attempted to help with her wounds. Yet they were beyond his strength. But not the strength of another. Shaggard, Hofhothi of Ymir. The warmth of Ymir was something she had not experienced at all in her state of undeath, it was almost like living again, the comfort of completion, of humanity. And as it faded, she felt all the colder for it. She could be more than she was, and she had to become it.
  164.
  165. More Than She Was
  166.
  167. She journeyed to Port Fortune, to speak with one of the people she felt close to, Stede Vane. She discussed the shortcomings of her existence, how being bound limited her, how her body was not complete that she could experience things, but never really enjoy them. She lamented that she could never truly be close to another and that she would forever remain chained away from the world, before steeling herself to bring this to her Necromancer.
  168.
  169. Before leaving the port, she came across Fleur, who was beginning to undergo a bout of red psychosis. During this time Morgwynn also received a letter from Ah'wu asking about the disease. She opted to go to Ah'wu's abode to discuss it with her where she ran into Fleur again, this time going into full meltdown. And so Morgwynn made a choice, one to prove that she was better than she was, that she was not overly cruel and that she had the capacity to help others. Holding back, to the point where she would not gain any undeath from the effort, she used her Glaive to drain the errant mana from Fleur, burning herself in the process.
  170.
  171. Believing that she may have broken her oaths to her Master, she returned to speak with him. She spoke of how she had spared someone who could be considered an enemy. How she had put herself at risk with no reward to save someone she had hunted in the past. How she felt listless in her current unlife and how the constant fighting was getting to her, that she wanted to be more than just this. Yet at the same time she felt broken, as if she was not meant to be feeling these things, especially compared to the other undead. It was then that her master gave her words that she would shape the rest of her existence around.
  172.
  173. "That despite that you were risen from deaths grasp and given a second chance."
  174.
  175. "You are still human."
  176. It was then that she decided, if this humanity of hers was to be nurtured, then she had to be free from the shackles that came with undeath. She had to be herself, wholly, an individual bound to no others. But she also knew of the limitations of her existence. If she was not bound to her master, she still had to be bound to something. And her eyes settled upon Pax Mors, that which had been growing alongside her, that which was now almost an extension of herself, but wasn't chained by necromancy. A vessel that she wished to move herself to.
  177.
  178. Wanting to deal with these thoughts, she went for a walk and found herself going towards Ah'wu's home again, where she found Uther. They spoke calmly, for once, with him thanking her for her help. Ultimately she confided in him with her plan and all the risks it held. She wasn't sure why she confided in him, considering they were still very much enemies. But there were very little people in her life that she held true connections with, and her enemies seemed to hold the strongest ones.
  179.
  180. In this vein of thinking, Yvon invited Morgwynn in for a talk, and revealed his own state. It was a grim reflection of how she had felt about herself. That he was stuck working for another, the happiness drained from his life as he went through looking for fights. That his heart had been ripped from him and left him hollow. So, in return, she gave him advice that she had recently come across. That he was being used, that he was worth more than that. That he wasn't an unfeeling killing machine as she was and that there was more that he deserved. She also grew angry and seeing someone have everything she wanted and was squandering it, wasting away his life and his humanity while she was doing everything in her power to grasp at the edges of it herself.
  181.
  182. The Continuing War
  183.
  184. Whether it was due to the recent stillness or because it was reaching the apex of its own growth, Pax Mors had become restless. The connection they shared, however faint, transferred the hunger that was felt in the weapon to Morgwynn, and against her better judgement went out with Ember Montelione. They eventually ran across those from Dal'Thala... those with stronger tempers. Suzuka struck out at Ember and Morgwynn stepped in to defend her, despite how detrimental it was. And it seems her self sacrifice was punished, leaving her with a permanent injury for her efforts. Yet the injury didn't seem to dampen her spirits when she immediately ran into her old rival and she duelled Unknown once more, earning a narrow victory. 3-3
  185.
  186.
  187. The injury required attention and so she sought out Xenara, dragging her away from Aphros and forcing her to patch the wound up. Though it was difficult to tell if it was coercion with how meek the girl was. But, once the injury was fixed she immediately went out again, the glaive seeming to compel her somewhat and she ran into someone she owed some revenge to. Rarvon, the Nethradin that attempted to hex someone to fight Morgwynn instead of him.
  188.
  189. She found him with Unknown of all people but elected to just focus on the Nethradin. They clashed and she came out on top though was intrigued to discover that it could wield aether magics as her master could. Though she would soon run into Unknown again and at his request they duelled, with Morgwynn winning once more. 4-3
  190.
  191. Having had enough time to mull the decision over, she finally approached her Necromancer, Samir, with her idea of unbinding her soul from him. Which, to her surprise, he agreed with, seeing this as a step towards the eternal life which he wished to achieve. They devised a small plan and put it on hold until the raid from Dal'Thala had concluded.
  192.
  193. With that squared away, she took to the wilderness once again, being compelled to collect more undeath, this time for herself and no one else. She ran into an undead that mocked her, thinking itself superior. She beat it and slit its throat. Though more interesting was Ushi's appearance just afterwards. She requested a duel, much as Unknown had, with less vitriol and moreso her wishing to measure her growth. Morgwynn was successful, but they parted amicably.
  194.
  195. On the eve of the war, Morgwynn found herself drifting in towards Dal'Thala, perhaps in an attempt a testing fate. She ran into a few fights, a merchant from Aphros who fell rather easily as well as someone who she'd seen around Vdalion, but one that insisted on fighting. They fell too, with their left eye being sliced from their face.
  196.
  197. Then the war came. Morgwynn felt no apprehensions about it, despite the changes in her opinions as of late. War was always impersonal like that, even if she was human and unbound to another she would be fighting on one side of another thanks to basic loyalties. She ended up fighting Unknown in the war, capturing him and leaving their score at 5-3. She hesitated, wanting him to make the decision about his fate.
  198.
  199. Yet it was taken out of both of their hands when Vessix attacked. And after a close battle, perhaps the closest the country had ever seen, Vessix came out on top, delivering a permanent injury to Morgwynn, evening up their own score. Yet still, her efforts had helped win the war. Yet, as injured as she was, she still went out to hunt, and gathered the final piece of undeath she needed. It was poetic in a way, getting the final bit of undeath from attacking the cult that had harassed her very first friend. She ended up almost disembowelling him, and leaving him to his fate.
  200.
  201. The Ritual
  202.
  203. The ritual was performed with Shaggard, Samir and Nekane present. Nekane, with her mastery of Death magic split the soul while Samir wielded his Aether magics to remove the bonds between his and Morgwynn's soul, freeing her from that tether and binding it anew into her weapon, Pax Mors. While it was dangerous, thanks to the efforts of Shaggard and his faith Morgwynn's soul was empowered enough to survive the manipulation without only temporary injury lingering behind.
  204. (10 undeath was spent and a D6 roll was done, with the result being a 5. Morgwynn received a temporary injury for this.)
  205.
  206.
  207. Your plans:
  208.
  209. To continue to grow past the limitations of undead, moving towards a 'perfect undead' though mainly through nurturing their humanity and developing their emotional capacity. To this end I will be looking to create a better body for them to be hosted in, perhaps possessing the body of someone else in order to 'live' again.
  210.
  211. Despite unbinding from my necromancer I will still seek to help him with his goals though no longer because it is forced of me, rather because we would now have similar goals.
  212.
  213. Defeat Vessix and the other military leaders of Dal'Thala, despite the connections she has made to its people she has no love for those in charge of Dal'Thala and seeks to hunt down those that have bested her and permanently wounded her in the past. (May be awkward considering Lionel but I have been somewhat retiring him recently.)
  214.
  215. Gain one of the Classes, either Faith or Necromancy depending on which path she gets pulled closer down.
  216.
  217. To form connections with people through her own merits, maybe even converting old foes to true friends and to embrace her Human side.
