A Gruesome Reminder to Chew Your Food Before You Swallow

[05:08] <Rainy> Rainy can be found in the Dream World on a gigantic playground. It's like if you took a mall and turned the entire thing into a playground. She zooooms on down a massive slide at high speed as Nini the Dratini chases and Bunbun races.
06[05:09] * Yumeko had been looking for Gurume (the babby grue) and ended up here. With the little creature's affinity for dark places, it was a little hard to find where it has ran off to.
[05:10] <Rainy> "Woooooooooooohoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!" Rainy's shouts are easily heard from afar. The grue has plenty of hiding place options, given all the giant stuff to hide beneath.
06[05:12] * Yumeko soon sees Rainy as she comes into view of the playground, awed at the size of it. She spots Rainy and tries calling out to her adventuring companion, "Rainy-sa---n!!!"
[05:13] <Rainy> Rainy goes flying off the end of the slide, through the air, and smashes right into Yumeko. "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! Thanks for breaking my fall, Mr. Elfdorf."
[05:15] <Yumeko> "Ite---" Yumeko ended up on the ground as well, taking the brunt of a Rainy-missile, "un... ohayo..." @___@;
[05:15] <Rainy> "Whatcha doin?"
[05:16] <Yumeko> "Ah, I was looking for Gurume-chan..." Yumeko replied, sitting up and rubbing her head, "She liked dark places so much that she sneaked off the moment I looked away!" o__o;
[05:18] <Rainy> "What's a groomy chin?"
06[05:18] * Yumeko does look like she had been looking for the grue for hours, even Mimu is helping too!
[05:20] <Yumeko> "It's the little black creature with red, beady eyes and lots of teeth..." Yumeko explained, showing Rainy the approximate size of the creature, "You and Lecia-san were swallowed by one of its parents a few days back when we were looking for Madeline-san and the other children."
[05:20] <Rainy> "You kept one of those monster thingies that ate us?!"
[05:20] <Rainy> "I don't wanna get eated!"
[05:21] <Yumeko> "One of the babies that hatched," Yumeko added, "I don't think it would think of us as food, I hope..."
[05:22] <Rainy> "But it's Mommy and Daddy did and I eat like my Mommy and Daddy like how we eat french toast for breakfast and sometimes bacon too!"
[05:24] <Yumeko> "I'm sure we can change it's preferred diet to no-good people instead," Yumeko assured, looking around the expansive playground for signs of where the baby grue may be hiding.
01[05:25] <Caleb> Y'know those giant spinny wheels? There's a little purple, long, slender thing with a fat tip swishing about at the bottom.
[05:26] <Yumeko> "Ah, Gurume-chan!" Yumeko calls out, headed for the giant-spinny-wheels-thing to recover the babby grue o__o;
01[05:27] <Caleb> Yeah, swishing about right underneath it. Yume goes down on her knees to get a closer look, and the swishy tail leads right to a pair of glowing red beady eyes.
[05:28] <Rainy> "But I don't always eat my preferred diet like this one time I was at the carnival and I got cotton candy but a fly landed in it and got tangled up so I had Nini use dragon rage on it but turns out that blew up my cotton candy too so I had to get Daddy to go buy me a pretzel and that wasn't my preferred diet but I still ate it."
01[05:28] <Caleb> The end of the swishy thing is met by a pair of fangs.
01[05:28] <Caleb> Gleaming white and pearly.
[05:29] <Yumeko> "Come here, Gurume-chan..." Yumeko called out, trying to reach and hold on to the little grue. o__o;
01[05:30] <Caleb> Gurume indeed does pop out of the hole, though a blurb of black inky fog that seems to consume all the light surrounding it emerges. It tries to burp, but spits out a pink cat. Covered in slobber and fur, it floats away all grossed out and disgusted.
01[05:31] <Caleb> Gurume slithers forth quite quickly and nuzzles the base of Yume's leg.
[05:32] <Yumeko> "You shouldn't wander off by yourself, Gurume-chan..." Yumeko said as she scratched the approximate back of the grue's head, "I was worried that you might get in trouble..." n___n;
[05:33] <Rainy> "Eating people is trouble!"
[05:34] <Rainy> "Are you okay, Miss Kitty?"
[05:36] <Yumeko> "Don't worry, Rainy-san," Yumeko assured Rainy, then puts an Oran Necklace on the babby grue, "I'll make sure it is contented with most of what we can eat, at least..."
01[05:36] <Caleb> The kitty looks... Well, it looks REALLY grossed out. Grue saliva all over it, and fur a frazzled mess...
01[05:37] <Caleb> It just looks flat out discomforted by its current dilemma.
[05:37] <Rainy> "Do you want me to clean you up, Miss Kitty?" Rainy eyes the grue, "Are you suuuuuuuure you can do that?"
06[05:37] * Yumeko also apologizes to the little floaty kitty for what Gurume did. -___-;
[05:37] <Yumeko> "I'll do my best!" o__o/
01[05:37] <Caleb> Gurume also burps up a blue feather.
01[05:38] <Caleb> It lands on Yume's hand, and is cold to the touch.
[05:38] <Rainy> Rainy draws a bathtub on the ground with her magic paintbrush! Hopefully it's warm but you can't really draw heat can you?
[05:39] <Yumeko> "Eh...?" Yumeko remarked, holding on to the surprisingly cold, blue feather and raising it up to see. She then looks back in amazement as to what the baby grue may have eaten while she wasn't looking. o__o;
01[05:40] <Caleb> The Grue smiles a near toothless smile. You hear "Cheep Cheep!" come out from its belly.
01[05:41] <Caleb> The kitty looks pleased with this bath.
01[05:41] <Caleb> 13<Can ya make bubbles?>
[05:42] <Yumeko> "...." Yumeko sighs as she uses her telekinesis to help carry the baby grue, which is surprisingly heavy, "You should be more careful of what you eat, Gurume-chan..." o__o;
[05:42] <Rainy> "I'm the best at making bubbles!" Rainy leans over the edge of the tub and presses face in. She starts blowing to make bubbles. Blublublublub.
01[05:42] <Caleb> The Mew giggles. 13<That's silly. You're silly.>
[05:43] <Rainy> "Oh. How come?"
[05:44] <Yumeko> "Kitty-san can also talk?" Yumeko asks, watching at how Rainy is giving the floaty kitty a bubble bath, "I think it's like Miss Myuu..." o__o?
01[05:44] <Caleb> Gurume looks saddened at being told it can't eat whatever it wants. She hits her belly a couple times, and a little blue bird with a trident crest of feathers comes out. Equally slathered in grue saliva.
[05:44] <Rainy> "Can I call you Kiki? It's short for Kittykitty!"
01[05:45] <Caleb> 13<Sure! Kiki sounds fine!>
01[05:46] <Caleb> Kiki hops in the bath. 13<Ya got any REAL bubbles though?>
[05:47] <Yumeko> "Don't worry, I'll make sure you'll have enough to eat of other things," Yumeko assured Gurume as she raised the babby grue up before letting it down. And maybe lead the little blue bird to Rainy. o__o;
01[05:47] <Caleb> Bluebird shivers, repulsed by its being-coated-in-grue-glob.
[05:48] <Rainy> "I like to draw and paint. What do you like to do, Kiki? Oh, I've got lotsa bubbles like at home we have bubblebath it's like this shampoo only it doesn't go in your hair you put it in the tub and then there are bubbles everywhere and they smell nice and I tried to make bubbles in my tummy by eating it but that made me sick apparently it doesn't work who woulda thought?" Rainy draws some
[05:48] <Rainy> bubbles into the bath. They're big and pink!
[05:49] <Yumeko> For now, Yumeko lets babby Grue back into its pokeball to help wash the blue bird clean of grue-glob too.
[05:49] <Rainy> There's plenty of room in the bath~
01[05:49] <Caleb> Kiki splashes Rainy with the bathwater. 13<Well, I like ice skating... And karaoke... And xylophones!>
01[05:50] <Caleb> 13<Ice skating's kinda hard 'cause I go to do the cool jumps and float away... And I just like xylophones. Don't know how to play 'em, but the colorful ones are lotsa fun and pretty to look at. Karaoke's just fun~>
[05:51] <Yumeko> Accompanied by Mimu, Yumeko uses her telekinesis to gently lift the blue bird and let it settle into the bath to join Kiki. Yumeko had to roll up her sleeves to avoid getting it soaked in the bath as well.
[05:51] <Rainy> Rainy squeals as she's splashed, "Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" She shakes herself like a dog trying to get dry. "Let's do karaoke!"
[05:52] <Rainy> "Do you know What Kind of Pokemon Are You?"
01[05:53] <Caleb> 13<How do you do the things you do~? Share with me your secrets deep insi-ide!> She sings along before passing her tail over to Rainy. It's conveniently microphone-shaped.
[05:54] <Rainy> "What kind of pokemon are you? Are you loyal through and through? Do you have a heart that's truuuuuuuuuuuuuueeeeeeee?" Rainy enthusiastically sings into the tail-mic. Her head totally bobs to the beat.
06[05:55] * Yumeko tries to follow along while carefully washing the blue bird clean of grue goo. n__n~
01[05:56] <Caleb> Babbycuno flops about helplessly in the water, which begins to freeze over on the surface. 13<What kind of Pokemon are y-eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!> Kiki freaks out as ice cold water hits her, and rockets out of the pool.
[05:57] <Rainy> Rainy gets splashed by the icy water as Kiki hops out. She squeals again before grabbing Bunbun. "Kiki, come get warm with us. Bunbun's fluffy and snug~"
[05:57] <Yumeko> Tries raising the babby bird out from the water, still holding on to it. "Eeeeh!?" o__o!?
01[05:57] <Caleb> Yume emerges with a bird sporting an icy dress around its waist.
[05:58] <Rainy> "He reminds me of this blanket I had before I accidentally set it on fire!"
01[05:58] <Caleb> Bunbun runs in place, generating warmth. You can see the ground sizzle beneath him.
[05:58] <Rainy> "Just kidding. Dragon Rage didn't leave any trace. I was really sad but then I remembered I could buy another one just like it and paint something even better."
01[05:58] <Caleb> Anything to put his awesome speed to work.
[05:59] <Yumeko> "Rainy-san, this bird can make ice...!" Yumeko remarked in surprise, now holding up the babby blue bird wearing an icy dress. o__o; She gently lets it down on the floor.
[06:00] <Rainy> "I'm Rainy, by the way!"
01[06:00] <Caleb> 13<Okay, but only for a little bit... My parents might get mad at me 'cause I told 'em I'd be back for dinner!>
[06:01] <Rainy> "Ooooh! Do you have french toast for dinner?"
01[06:02] <Caleb> 13<Never had French Toast for dinner! But you should totally come over some time! I'm sure we'll have lotsa fun!>
01[06:02] <Caleb> Babbycuno shakes out her feathers, and the dress drops to the floor. It's tiny, but surprisingly still intact.
[06:03] <Rainy> "Reaallllly?" Rainy hophops excitedly. "You can come hang out with us any time!"
06[06:04] * Yumeko carefully lifts the little dress up and shows it to Mimu, "What do you think, Mimu-chan?" o__o? She is at least glad she could wash the goo of the babbycuno somehow.
01[06:05] <Caleb> 13<I'll talk to my parents 'bout it, but they always say I can bring friends over!> She pulls out a map and puts an "X" on it. Riiight at the edge of the forest. 13<We don't live in the creepy part, but it's riiight there! Just come over whenever you wanna have a playdate!>
[06:05] <Rainy> "Okay! Mommy says I need to have more playdates out of the house so Daddy doesn't infect my friends with whatever weirdness is in his brain whatever that means."
06[06:07] * Yumeko helps the baby bird dry its feathers somehow, "So how did you end up in Gurume-chan's stomach...?" o___o?
01[06:07] <Caleb> Babbycuno cheepcheeps and flaps its way up into yume's hair.
01[06:08] <Caleb> The Articuno points its wing at a GIANT tree.
01[06:08] <Caleb> ... How you missed that, you'll never know.
01[06:08] <Caleb> It's just a GIANT ASS tree sitting in the middle of the desert. Your guess is that it's easily a mile high.
06[06:09] * Yumeko looks to the direction of the giant tree. How did they not notice that place before? o__o? Maybe she was not just paying attention.
[06:09] <Yumeko> "Do you live over there, little bird?" Yumeko asks as she tries to figure just how far that tree is from where they are.
[06:09] <Rainy> "Oh. Hi Giant Tree."
01[06:10] <Caleb> 13<Yeah, we can totally have a playdate then! Lookin' so forward to it!>
01[06:11] <Caleb> Kiki does a backflip and soars off into the sky!
[06:11] <Rainy> "Bye byyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyye."
01[06:12] <Caleb> The bird nogs and cheeps. That was her home.
01[06:12] <Caleb> Birdy drops over and falls onto the ground, then makes a "RAWR RAWR FANGS" motion with its wings.
01[06:13] <Caleb> ... The desert and the forest are on two opposite sides of the continent. MAN, that thing is fast!
06[06:13] * Yumeko also waves to Kiki goodbye, then looks to what the baby bird is doing. Could it be Gurume who went there? o__o;
[06:14] <Yumeko> She decided it should be a good idea to bring the baby bird back to its nest soon enough, but may need everyone else's help!
[06:14] <Rainy> "...That was cool."
[06:16] <Yumeko> "Sou desu, Rainy-san..." Yumeko said as she let Mimu watch over the baby bird while taking out the pokeball with Gurume in it, "Is it all right if you have a look at Gurume-chan? I know you have an unpleasant experience with its parents, but this one is still a baby."
[06:16] <Yumeko> "Maybe you have an advice on how to raise it properly?"
[06:17] <Rainy> "It's true, I'm a preeeeeeetty good breeder... I don't wanna get eated... If it eats me, I'm gonna get out and Nini's gonna beat it up for me, okay?"
[06:18] <Yumeko> "Hai, I will make sure to help you out as well," Yumeko said as she lends Gurume (still in the pokeball) for Rainy to check.
[06:19] <Rainy> "And it has to spit out any interesting stuff it finds, too! Because if it doesn't then interesting stuff gets lost in its stomach forever. There might be a robot in there and then Robolessy would be sad."
[06:20] <Rainy> She sends out the gruebabby and has Nini right there to IBIY aqua jet the shit out of it if it tries to eat her
[06:21] <Yumeko> "I'll... take note of that... whatever a robot is..." n___n; she holds Gurume with both hands to keep the baby grue from zooming all over the place.
[06:22] <Rainy> She performs a few quick tests and then makes Yumeko turn around, having Bunbun run circles around her watching to make sure she doesn't peek as Rainy undergoes the secret dark ritual of breeders. She also paints a smily face on it.
[06:22] <Rainy> Finally, she returns the babbyman.
[06:23] <Yumeko> "So how is she, Rainy-san?" o__o?
[06:24] <Rainy> "Fast!"
[06:24] <Yumeko> "Um, hai... She somehow managed to get across the desert to the giant tree..." o___o;
[06:25] <Rainy> "Why would a cold birdy live in the desert?"
[06:25] <Rainy> "If I was a cold birdy I'd live on the beach because it's hot but it's nice too and people would want to be around me so they could cool off and I'd be the most popularest birdy there is."
[06:26] <Yumeko> "I have no idea, but it did point out to that place over there..."
[06:27] <Yumeko> "So if I get the chance, I would bring it back to its home."
[06:28] <Rainy> "I bet that's where its daddy and mommy, lugia and skarmoy, live!"
[06:29] <Yumeko> "Un! Would you like to help out when I bring it back to its home, Rainy-san?" Yumeko asked, though she has no idea what a lugia looks like.
[06:30] <Rainy> "If you want me to, okay!"
06[06:38] * Yumeko ensures to call on to Rainy when they take babbycuno back to its home.
