1. Standard Tribal Elemental deck inspired by the timmy/johnny favorite, [[Omnath, locus of rage]]
2.

16.
17.

18.
[[rattleclaw mystic]]/[[whisperer of the wilds]]- ramp/mana fixing and fodder for [[evolutionary leap]]
19.
[[greenwarden of murasa]]- gives me access to cards in my graveyard especially since I have [[kiora, master of the depths]]/[[see the unwritten]]. also if I get this guy out with [[see the unwritten]], I can use its ability to immediately return see the unwritten to my hand

25.
26.

27.
[[Undergrowth Champion]]- immune to some removal and is a pretty reliable blocker if need be
28.
[[zendikar incarnate]]- big butt for the early game and good power in the mid-late game
29.
[[surrak dragonclaw]]- a little help against control but mainly for the trample ability
30.
[[omnath, locus of rage]]- the boss. landfall triggers quite often and makes removing this deck's creatures a pain. I can sac my own creatures to trigger his [[lightning bolt]] as well
31.

39.
40.

41.
[[nissa, sage animist]]- (flip side is pretty self explanatory) +1 for card advantage without having to draw lands, -2 for the elemental and [[temur ascendancy]] trigger, -7 for shenanigans
42.
[[Kiora, Master of the Depths]]- primarily helps with ramp and digs for more creatures/lands while ult is an added benefit
43.

48.
49.

50.
[[stubborn denial]]- This deck should usually have superior creatures, so this and [[surrak dragonclaw]] should give control players a nice headache
51.
[[atarka's command]]- I mean, what's not to like? (Custard, good. Jam, good. Meat, good!)
52.
[[evolutionary leap]]- useful for sac'ing creatures of little value such as [[embodiment of spring]] or [[rattleclaw mystic]] later on in the game
53.
[[temur ascendancy]]- 8-12 ([[zendikar incarnate]] usually has power 4 or greater) creatures and tokens from [[nissa, sage animist]]/[[omnath, locus of rage]] trigger it.
54.
[[see the unwritten]]- digs for big creatures and ferocious is easily met
55.

56.

59. ===panel: Numbers
60.
61. A quick guideline from [[ducttapedeckbox]] that I very much like and agree with.
62.
63.

64.
for cards that you may not necessarily need to see, but when you do, they secure games or the card happens to be legendary. Also for if you have sufficient card draw/can dig through your deck, which isn't so much the case here. If you decide to build this deck in paper, you might want to build around your meta in which case, you would add in singletons of that specific card
65.
pretty much the same as above except these have a greater impact on the game or aren't legendaries
66.
gets trickier. This is for cards that you will probably see and contribute to a win but might not necessarily win games single-handedly. This is also for bombs and finishers that have high costs and that you wouldn't want to see multiples of in your opening hand.
67.
You want to see these cards, and they comprise the core of the deck. These are almost never dead draws.
68.

69.
70. Note: There are exceptions, especially with this deck. I am running [[greenwarden of murasa]] and [[see the unwritten]] which allows me to have fewer of certain cards, but more so allows me to have greater consistency.

79.
80.

81.
[[retreat to kazandu]]- helps me stabilize after the early onslaught and can make my creatures bigger as an alternate option

86. ===panel: Against Mid Range
87.
88.

89.
[[roast]]- helps against the problematic [[siege rhino]], [[tasigur, the golden fang]], and most other creatures they are likely to run
90.
[[plummet]]- an easy answer to flyers like khans dragons
91.

95. ===panel: Against Control
96.
97.

98.
[[roast]]- helps against the problematic [[siege rhino]], [[tasigur, the golden fang]], and most other creatures they are likely to run
99.
[[plummet]]- an easy answer to flyers like khans dragons
100.
[[zendikar's roil]]- against the control match up to consistently put out creatures esp. since control decks tend to have a harder time removing enchantments
101.
[[gaea's revenge]]- competes with [[omnath, locus of rage]], but is harder to remove. good against control decks that don't run [[abzan charm]]
102.
[[stubborn denial]]- ferocious shouldn't be hard to achieve, making this a very effective counter spell
103.
[[void winnower]]- specifically targeted toward 5c [[bring to light]]
104.

113. ===accordion
114. ===panel: The Cut
115.
116.

117.
[[embodiment of spring]]- Turn 1 Blue is too difficult for the deck
118.
[[dragonmaster outcast]]- not elements and doesn't have enough ramp support to maximize on the ability
119.
[[crater elemental]]- no synergy with [[temur ascendancy]] and is a defensive card until i already have offensive cards on the field
120.
[[woodland wanderer]]- would rather see [[zendikar incarnate]] with [[see the unwritten]] and [[surrak dragonclaw]] grants trample already
121.
[[sword of the animist]]/[[animist's awakening]]/[[explosive vegetation]]/[[nissa's renewal]]/[[nissa's pilgrimage]]/[[natural connection]]- great ramp but honestly, unnecessary. the omnath appeal doesn't warrant taking out other threats or utility cards
122.
[[jaddi offshoot]]- beat out by [[retreat to kazandu]]
123.
[[sarkhan unbroken]]- doesn't fit the theme but thats just me. if I had to, I'd probably drop an [[atarka's command]] or [[stubborn denial]]

130.
[[see the unwritten + greenwarden of murasa]]- If I find greenwarden with see the unwritten, I can use greenwarden's ability to immediately bring see the unwritten back to my hand
131.
[[omnath, locus of rage + temur ascendancy]]- lands refill my hand. Also makes [[blighted woodland]]/[[wooded foothills]] much better
132.
[[omnath, locus of rage + evolutionary leap]]- green [[lightning bolt]]s and the next creature in my deck

178. Feedback is always welcome and appreciated! After all, it's what gets the deck to where it is. And of course, if you like the deck, give it a +1 Upvote!

182. Special thanks to [[hairymanback]] for all the detailed commentary and taking the time to test out the deck. Check out his deck - [[elementals makin it rain]] - if you're a hardcore spike for a more competitive version of the deck!
