BACKGROUND ; jinkyong hadn't really known of her powers until she was 12. the only person who really knew of her power was her father. seoul was a very big city, one that the 12-year-old was very fond of. when her father wasn't busy with work, he would take her on walks around the city. while on one of their walks, her father decided to get them ice cream. meanwhile, jinkyong had spotted a ball stuck in a tree nearby the ice cream stand. being too short to reach she stood at the bottom of the tree on her tip toes making weird sounds. it wasn't until she reached her hands out with all her force that a strong gust of wind emitted from her hands and knocked the ball out of the tree. her father, who was on his way with ice cream, was simply amazed. her father knew better than to tell anyone, assuming they would want to test on her. he especially didn't want to tell her mother. jinkyong and her mother didn't have the usual mother-daughter bond like most did. jinkyong was the daughter her mother didn't want, she always wanted a son. it didn't help the fact that jinkyong was the rowdiest child ever. her mother still loved her, of course, and did her best to try and not treat her differently from her brothers. her father loved jinkyong the most, though. their bond was unbreakable, and still is. so with that all in place, it was only jinkyong and her father who knew of her powers. despite being the eldest child in the house, she acted like the youngest. jinkyong was an extremely hyper child, she was constantly doing something. as a child, she loved to play and do whatever, as long as it was fun. once she found about her powers, she was still the same truly. she wasn't really affected by the fact that she had powers you read about in comic books. she did use it to her advantage as much as she could. it took her a while to actually be able to use it, but once she did it was great. she often would use it against her brothers, and only her father knew meaning she never got in trouble when her brothers' toys would suddenly be blown away. during high school, jinkyong had plenty of friends. but, she really only had one close friend. the two meet back at summer camp and became friends almost instantly. however, two didn't live close. her best friend's name was seulgi. the two would often call each other using the landlines (oml) or would plan meetups. while at camp, seulgi truly introduced jinkyong into kpop. of course, she had known and heard songs, but never really paid attention to it. seulgi told her about wanting to be a singer, and jinkyong always gave her full support. it wasn't until a sleepover the girls were having, that seulgi learned of jinkyong's singing. jinkyong never took her singing seriously and just enjoyed singing along to songs. which was what the two girls were doing, singing to their favorite songs. seulgi told jinkyong how great it was and that she's really talented. it was in that moment seulgi decided, they should audition together. jinkyong's father thought this was great, and even her mother agreed (her brothers couldn't give two shits). the two auditioned for multiple companies, in hopes, one would except them. well, seulgi was accepted under sm, while jinkyong was accepted under cube. the girls didn't see this as a problem really and planned to stay close despite being under different companies.

PERSONALITY ; this child is the classification of immature. she's constantly goofing off and making unnecessary jokes. she's extremely loud. she's usually the main cause of any group member's headache. jinkyong is a chatterbox to the extreme. she could kill someone with the amount of talking she does. most of the time she's just making stupid jokes or perverted comments. she's a horrible pervert, the members usually joke that 'byuntae' is her middle name. she may have her physical innocence, but she surely has no mental innocence. she can take anything and everything the wrong way and is not afraid to joke about it. it's like have a 14 year old boy in the group. she really has no self-control or insecurities. she loves being herself and doesn't care where she is or who she's around. although, most of the time she doesn't even realize she's being too loud or immature. she just can't help it, she loves to have fun and nothing can stop her from doing so. she's hardly serious, she can turn anything into a joke. just like any child, she's a horrible listener and literally forgets anything she feels is nonessential (which is like any responsibilities she has). she can remember things you want her not to, though. jinkyong can bring something completely random up for no reason, she doesn't care. she also interrupts people. a lot. trying to finish other's sentences is her specialty. jinkyong is also a horrible whiner, even if she's just faking it. she often uses it to try and get her way. if her whining doesn't work she'll result to bribing or bad aegyo. she's also impatient, so if you leave her waiting, expect to hear her whining. she's often described as annoying, but it's hard not to love her. she loves to make others smile, and it isn't hard for her to do so. her happiness is almost contagious, at least her laugh is. she has a nonstop laughter, that you're either laughing with or laughing at.

HOW YOU MEET ; jinkyong was on her way in the sm building to see seulgi. the two often have lunch together, at least when schedules aren't tight. this was an unexpected trip, however. seulgi would usually meet her in the lobby, but since she didn't know, she wasn't there. but, seulgi had texted her an hour before that she was practicing. this sent jin on a scavenger hunt to find the right practice room. 20 minutes into her search, she gave up and went to look for help instead seeing that she was now lost. the first person she came across, was none other than baekhyun. after frantically explaining to him with her arms practically flailing and small giggles in between, he tells her that he saw the red velvet girls earlier. she literally demands him to take her and starts to get all whiny like, "you havvvve to take me or i'll get lost againnnn".

HIS FIRST IMPRESSION ; at first he was confused as in why this loud ass girl was roaming the halls and suddenly approached him. though, he found it cute and was awfully amused when she started waving her arms around telling him how she was lost as shit. he also liked the fact that she had a big smile despite the fact of being lost.

HER FIRST IMPRESSION ; at the time, she wasn't really paying attention to him. she was more worried about finding her seulgi bear. but, how could she not notice his good looks (like rlly tho). she wasn't really bothered by the amused look he had when she explained her life or death situation. she was mainly happy that he was willing to take time and help her.

 ⇢ beginning - he was pretty casual around her and is still the little shit he is. of course, he isn't fully himself around her, since he doesn't really know her. but he doesn't find it hard for him to become close with her.

 ⇢ middle - at this point, he acts like his cheeky self. he really enjoys picking and teasing on her. mainly because he knows that she'll always laugh and probably poke right back at him. his eyes will light up when talking with her, especially since she'll smile the whole time.

 ⇢ end - he doesn't really change much around her anymore, not that he really did before. he still teases the hell out of her and laughs with her for hours. he's pretty cozy with her and will just sit back and listen to her (loudly) talk about anything that's on her mind. although, he does like to test his 'amazing' jokes on her before he tells anyone else.

 ⇢ beginning - being as outgoing as she is she wasn't shy or awkward. she acts the same around him as she does when with her group. except she does try to be less annoying and overly loud (considering that's how everyone describes her and she doesn't need to add another person to the list).

 ⇢ middle - by now she's fully herself. maybe even more energetic and perverted. she likes to twist his words and pick on him, to get back at all the teasing he does. her smile never leaves her face when with him and she can be loud as hell. not that she cares. she will literally listen to every word he has to say and can recite it later on.

 ⇢ end - she fully lets loose, and just enjoys her time with him. her inner meme is in its final form, and she will genuinely dab in his face. she's fully comfortable around him and she shows more acts of affection to him. even though she's still being a meme the whole time.
