Multiple Doors
“Where do you see yourself in five years?” that’s a tough one
Perhaps avoiding responsibility, trying to have fun
Or maybe crying to myself, regretting something I’ve done
I may be in an expensive mansion, living well
Or maybe I’ll find myself rotting in a prison cell
How am I supposed to answer such a question? I want to know
If life is a river current, I just want to be caught in the flow
“Always have a game plan” But the difficulty is too high
I wanted a tutorial but I’m instead given objectives without being told why
I can’t agree with this philosophy, it’s outdated and broken
If I don’t know what is behind the doors, how am I to know which to open?
