You've wanted to become an artist for as long as you can remember, doodling in notebooks instead of focusing on classwork, you banked all you could on this artist pathway. Your parents were unsure, but were willing to support you if you put in the effort. When you got to college you met others with similar aspirations, but your work failed to stand out among your peers. You continue to put your heart and soul into each of your pieces, staying up long nights to get everything just right, even at the expense of your other classes. At the end of class one day, the professor calls you into his office. He shows you your last work, something you felt really proud of, and tells you, "I'm just not seeing a spark, are you sure this class is for you?"
