- SysUpdater doens't work? Didn't downgrade when pressing Y? No worries! Here is a comprehensive guide to downgrading.
- 1. Check the hashes of the firmware you have obtained. Do not get it from dubious iso sites, but rather from here: bit.ly/1JTf6MA
- 2. Make sure you don't have any 9.6 encrypted games.
- 3. Run your preferred SysUpdater. If it doens't work (as in, no text on screen) hold down POWER and try again. It can work instantanely, or on the contrary take A LOT of tries.
- 4. When the setup is executing, DO NOT REBOOT NO MATTER WHAT. Let the process run its course and do not touch anything.
- 4.1. If you get a error after the downgrading process has started, you have a partial downgrade and should continue to run sysupdater to complete the downgrade.
- 5. Once the setup is done (a few minutes), you should have a message saying "Downgrade completed. Trying to reboot in 10 sec...". If it does not restart after 10 seconds, wait a minute and reboot. Don't worry, your 3DS hasn't bricked!
