  10. Background:
  11. When she was a young woman, Agape was bullied, resulting in her spending much of her time by herself. During this more lonely time, Agape noticed the suffering surrounding her in the world, though as a child she never really understood. It would take her until she was a teenager to start to understand that the world was a terrible place, and she wanted to do something about it. And, perhaps like many teenagers, she wanted to do something about it. Her solution came to her from her then-frequent trips to the internet – learning about the ancient magics, and in particular necromancy, Agape became interested in attaining this power. And so, when she got the chance, she began seeking out these dark arts, and practicing whatever she could. Her desire to attain necromancy got some supernatural heat on her, so she ended up having to learn how to fight on her own, quickly learning how to use a pair of pistols & her own acrobatic abilities to aid her. Over the years, she became better and better at what she did, and despite only being a necromancer for approximately six years, Agape has become quite skilled. She passes herself off as a doctor, despite having not gone to school for it, and does freelancer work on the sides in regards to dealing with the supernatural. After all, she’s still under fire for her access to forbidden knowledge. And if by eliminating such threats to humanity with her abilities will help end suffering, she’ll gladly do it.

  13. Personality:
  14. ~ Agape is idealistic and somewhat naive, though she is determined in her goal of doing something about suffering. Though she can be blunt and selfish at times (especially when frustrated), she is friendly and will gladly stand up for those she trusts and believes in. Agape is pretty athletic, though as a child she was clumsy and had a bad habit of tripping often; while she’s much better about it now, she still has it to some degree. Being a fairly lonely child, Agape also has a love for cute animes, and she loves J- and K-pop. It is possible these MIGHT’VE been influences on her fighting style.
  15. ~ Due to how her necromancy works (see below for details), Agape is reluctant to resurrect the dead, despite being perfectly able to. While she wishes to help others overcome their suffering, she knows that just bringing back people isn’t really bringing them back fully, as they lose their will. She does use it in a combative sense, but only because she knows that, in a real fight, holding back will get her killed.

  17. Powers and Abilities:
  18. - Necromancy
  19. Agape is a necromancer, meaning she controls death (it’s in the name). Controlling death makes her quite powerful, and her abilities allow her to manipulate causes of death, as well as reverse its effects. The former aspect of this is mainly how she fights, as she wields Toxin- and Curse-based “death magic” that can induce various effects pertaining to death; the timers of these effects vary based on the opponent’s resistance to ailments, with the standard being 5 turns. These effects include:
  20. ~ Poisoning – Toxin-based magic that replicates powerful poisons. Deals Toxin-based damage over time for up to 10 turns.
  21. ~ Aging – Curse-based magic that replicates the effects of old age. Weakens them physically & exacerbates the effects of other ailments for up to 10 turns.
  22. ~ Virus – Toxin-based magic that creates a virus, which weakens the effects of all forms of healing, including passive regeneration, for up to 10 turns.
  23. ~ Bleeding – Curse-based magic that the effects of blood loss for up to 10 turns.
  24. Agape is capable of inflicting these ailments in Toxin or Curse magic that can be used in multiple forms; common applications include bouncing her bullets off of walls, firing concentrated beams, creating a shotgun blast from her weapon, and an area-of-effect burst around her.
  25. In regards to the second part of this, Agape can also raise & communicate with the dead. Raising the dead allows her to create minions that can aid her in battle, and she has the unique ability to give life to the inanimate, allowing her to also turn objects that might not normally be sentient, such as stones, water, or metal into allies. With some preparation, Agape is even capable of cheating her own death, and she can set up a way to bring herself back if she has the time. The undead Agape creates are not perfect, and cannot live without being bound to someone’s will, normally hers. As an expansion of her ability to reverse death, she can reverse wounds and any status changes to heal herself & allies, though she cannot do so passively. Agape is innately resistant to her own status effects, however.
  26.
  27. - Acrobatic Abilities
  28. Agape is an acrobatically gifted girl, and she is decently fast on the ground. She is good at using the environment to make up for her otherwise restricted human movement, though she has a somewhat supernatural ability to jump mid-air and dash through the air twice as well.

  42. Special pistols that Agape uses, replacing the more standard guns she used to use; she got them as a gift for different jobs she completed, apparently. The guns fire magical bullets, and can be used with her necromancy abilities quite effectively.
  43.
  44. ~ Cell Phone
  45. A common smartphone one might expect someone to use in this day & age. Alongside being her main method of communication, Agape also uses it to explore the internet quickly & efficiently, being able to quickly dredge up information as she needs. Most complex or dangerous information, however, isn’t exactly a good idea to be gotten off the phone.
  46.
  47. ~ Laptop
  48. A common laptop, which Agape uses for more complex information gathering, as well as personal use. She can often be seen on it when she’s by herself.
  49.
  50. Appearance:
  51. ~ Agape has a lithe and slender figure, with light tan skin. She has large blue eyes, and short messy brown hair, with a navy blue beret. She wears a navy blue jacket that has light grey fur trim, and a white sweater underneath, with navy blue short pants and black pantyhose. She has dark blue fingerless gloves that have long cuffs, and oversized dark brown boots, from which one can see oversized scrunchy white socks. Over her shoulder, a brown laptop bag is worn, which carries her various pieces of equipment.
  52.
  53. NOTES:
  54. - A turn refers to the time take during a player’s post, which starts when the player posts and lasts until they must post again. As a result, in larger RPs it’s possible for effects based on rounds to last longer, or for cooldowns to take longer.
