  1. >Day 231 in Equestria, P0nyville to be exact.
  2. >You've been living in this place for quite a while
  3. >Ever since the freak accident that sent you here from your world via wormhole.
  4. >Though you have to say adjusting to everyday life was a chore
  5. >Ponies far and wide were reluctant to be around you
  6. >Even though Celestia gave you citizenship
  7. >You were an oddity, comparable to that of any creature the Everfree could spawn
  8. >The fact that you were found in the Everfree didn't help things at all
  9. >Regardless, you were able to build a home on a patch of land outside of P0nyille
  10. >You've been living there ever since
  11. >Over the course of your stay, by some miracle you were able to make a handful of friends
  12. >Though for many days you were thinking that they were only you friends due to circumstance
  13. >Pinkie became your best friend considering she's friends with everyone in town
  14. >Lyra became your friend because she's fascinated with bipedal creatures.
  15. >Colgate seemed to like your hygienic nature and didn't mind helping you take care of your teeth
  16. >The others ponies though... weren't so open.
  17. >No fillies, no mane 6 other than Pinkie, nether one of the Princesses, and no CMC.
  18. >Admittedly it was off-putting but you'd deal with it like you've dealt with the hand you have now.
  19. >You have a humble home, with only a few pieces of furniture
  20. >A couch here, a few book shelves there, couple of chairs, and a bed.
  21. >You didn't need much to get by
  22. >As of right now you're sitting on your false leather couch reading one of the many books your friends have provided you.
  23. >You always liked reading a good almanac
  24. >Right now you're getting up to date with the minotaur's territory
  25. >Suddenly there's a knock on your door
  26.
  27. A: Ignore your door and read your book. Could be a pony
  28. B: Answer the door
  29. C: Throw an object at your door and get whoever's there to go away
  30.
  31. (B was chosen)
  32.
  33. >You shut your book, set it on your couch, and get to your feet
  34. >Whoever is knocking probably isn't going to go away until they see the monkey man
  35. >Wouldn't be the first time you dealt with something like that
  36. >As you get closer to your door the knocks come faster and faster
  37. >There's only one pony who could knock like that
  38. >An Earthy Pony whom you've grown quite attached to despite the circumstances
  39. >The Party Pony: Pinkamina Diane Pie
  40. >Or just Pinkie Pie to her friends
  41. >Aka Poofy Party Pony, aka Miss Pie, aka Pinkie Responsibility Pie, aka...
  42. >You could list off the other dozen alias she also goes by but that would be redundant
  43. >She loved her little nicknames among many other things
  44. >Parties were one of those many things.
  45. >They were a major portion of her life, after all her talent revolved around parties
  46. >You could recall a few parties she threw specifically for you so you'd get out of your house
  47. >She seemed to take special care with you, after all you were different
  48. >You were alone, the only kind of your species, and with no way to get home.
  49. >Because of that she wanted to make you feel as welcome as possible
  50. >To show you that you didn't have to be alone.
  51. >Because of her you were able to open up to at least a few others
  52. >She's probably the reason why Lyra or Colgate even bother with you in the first place
  53. >In fact... that was one of the many reasons why you liked her...
  54. >But... there was a bit of a complication with that
  55. >Before you could try to get her to go out on a date with you so you could show her just how much she means to you
  56. >She'd drag you off to do some random thing
  57. >It was infuriating!
  58. >Last week when you tried to get her to go on a picnic you spent the day helping her build a flying machine
  59. >And the week before that it was a parasprite infestation
  60. >Before that week she had you baking five dozen cupcakes!
  61. >You aren't even going to get into what happened before that...
  62. >As you open your door you're greeted by none other than Pinkie
  63. >But... she doesn't realize you've open the door yet
  64. >She has her head turned away and her front hooves are a blur as she knocks your legs
  65. "Pinkie...."
  66. >She's still going
  67. >"OhmygoshImknockingasfastasIcanhowcanhenothearit?!"
  68. "Pinkie."
  69. >"HurryupandanswerthedoorNonny!"
  70. >You lose it for a moment and shout
  71. "PIIIIIINNNNKIE!
  72. >She freezes and turns to you her smile wide
  73. >"Hi Nonny that was loud! Are you working on your party cheer?! Oh oh oh let me try!"
  74. >Her chest expands to huge proportions as she intakes air
  75. "No Pinkie don't!"
  76. >"HHHHHHIIIII NONNY!"
  77. >The force of the air expelling from her lungs knocks you off of your feet and back into your house
  78. >It's like a hurricane just blew through your home
  79. >Books fall off of shelves, chairs are overturned, and you're forced against your wall
  80. >When the hellish storm finally ends she's still got that smile plastered on her face
  81. >She sees your displeasure but seems to ignore it
  82. >"So how'd I do? And be honest I need a good critique. I can't be lacking in the party department."
  83. >She takes an over dramatic gasp before rushing over to you in a mere blur of color
  84. >You don't know how she did it but she's now standing on top of a step ladder
  85. >On her hind hooves she's now at your height
  86. >She has your cheeks in her front hooves and she's looking to you her expression serious
  87. >"So was it? Was it party-rific, was it super-duper party-rific, or was it 'OhmyCelestiathatwasbestcheer...ific.'"
  88. >You have no idea what's going on right now
  89. >But she's looking to you with a hopeful expression
  90. "Is... it really that important?"
  91. >Your response is a bit muffled because of her hold on your cheeks
  92. >How is she even doing that?
  93. >Her eyes seem to pop out of her head from her surprise
  94. >"It's only the most important thing EVER! If I can't do a good party cheer then ponies won't think it's a good party because if it is a good party you'd be happy so of course you'd cheer but if it's boring why would you say anything at all?"
  95. >What?
  96. "...What?"
  97. >She needs to learn to slow down so others can understand a word she's saying
  98. >Pinkie groans in frustration
  99. >"Just tell me! Tell me! Tell me! Tell me! Plllleeeeaaaase?
  100. >You sigh
  101.
  102. A:Give her an honest critique of her cheer
  103. B:As her what the hell she's talking about
  104. C:It was party-rific
  105. D:It was super-duper party-rific
  106. E:Oh my Celestia that was best cheerific
  107. F:Wut?
  108.
  109. (A was chosen)
