Rage's Underhanded "Fuck You"

Okay, so I'm here to talk about me for a bit, and this whole situation. The events leading to this clearly have been dividing this server apart, and it hurts me, because I really am trying to make this a better place for all. For months I sat, being upset, because I didn't have my title of Admin anymore, and I had to deal with the insane amount of shitlords that came in and rdm'd. I could only sit idly by.

Now to the current situation. I've been trying to make the server a better place, at least during the night time when I'm on. I've gotten good feedback from regulars who now enjoy coming on during the evenings to play, citing that there is much less rdm, a lot more fun. Now with Wizard, I can attest that I may have made a bad decision pulling the trigger on a permaban right away. I was following the opinion of the public, due to the poll, and I had the thumbs up from a higher up. Wouldn't you push the button to fire the nuke if all lights were green? It was a sort of near-sighted haze, and I hit that button without hesitation. Now that the haze is gone, I can see clearly now. Starting World War 3 was a bad decision. So here I am to apologize for this mistake. We're all human, I made a mistake. Now, what would’ve been a better idea is a 2 week, to 1 month, “attitude adjustment period”. Sometimes people need breaks to clear their minds, and rethink things. I feel like this would have been a better choice for Wizard to step back and think why some people dislike him, and how he can change his character.

Now on to you Shoot2Kill. I may have made a bad mistake talking to you the way I did, but I was also upset for the reason you felt to talk to me as I was inferior. No one likes when they're talked down to, and some lash out. I've been on this server for a larger magnitude of time than you have, and I've seen the ups and downs, and I've been here working for a better Devolved in the good and the bad. You've been here for a few months, and you felt that talking to me like you did was in your best interest, which I don't think you put much thought into. Of course when you address me like you did, I was upset, and I thought it was fairly rude. You (general statement) don't go to your grandmother calling her “bitch”, and asking for money. That's just improper.

Now onto your last part about this strike. I feel like this is childish at best. You can strike all you want, but I'm still out there ACTIVELY making the server a better place for the players involved. And I don't truly care who else is striking with you, because I see multiple Mods/Admins/Managers still on who are also doing their job like they signed up for. No one here is getting paid money, we're all here because we wanted a better experience for ourselves, and for others. And that's what I'm doing. You can sit in the forums all day long brooding over what happened, or you can move on with life and get back to work fixing the server you seemed so adamantly bound to fix. Looking at your previous ban reports clearly show you care, but now I call in question your true commitment to these people you said you'd protect and serve.
