Dark Souls Any% Alternate Uchigatana/Falchion and Sorcery

This is an alternate version of the Uchigatana/Falchion and Sorcery route I created a few days ago. The main difference is that it doesn't use Sen's Gate Skip. Which means killing Taurus Demon, Gargoyles, and Quelaag before Sen's Fortress. Many of the other details are pretty much the same. It does use Duke Skip, Seal Skip, Lower Undead Burg Skip, and also the Chaos Shortcut, among other techniques. Use RTSR for most boss fights, dupe Homeward Bones and boss souls when necessary, even if the notes don't specify that you need to do so. You want 50 Int, 12 Attunement, and 16 Vitality by the end. Any other levels can and should go to Endurance. Priority is Int first except when the route notes specify otherwise.

Start Thief, Black Firebombs

Asylum
- Kill Asylum Demon with Black Firebombs, pick up everything, including small soul after the Demon

Firelink Shrine
- Level Str to 10 at Bonfire

Undead Burg
- Kill Undead Merchant with 2 Black Firebombs and pick up Uchigatana
- Rescue Griggs
- Pick up Gold Pine Resin
- Equip Uchigatana and kill Taurus Demon using the Resin
- Run to midpoint of bridge, kick down the ladder, run to Undead Parish

Undead Parish
- Open the gate
- Run up the stairs before the gate that closes, get through the gate before it closes
- Go right and take the side path to the bonfire
- Rest at the bonfire
- Pop the small soul
- Buy 4 Titanite Shards, Upgrade Uchigatana to +3
- Kill Gargoyles with Resin and Uchigatana,
- Ring the Bell Homeward Bone (dupe the bone)
- Buy 5 Titanite Shards and upgrade the Uchigatana to +5
- Buy Weapon Smithbox
- Equip Bandit Knife in empty right-hand slot

Darkroot Garden/Basin/Valley of Drakes
- Pick up Longbow
- Pick up Grass Crest Shield
- Kill Black Knight by backstabbing it off the ledge with the Bandit Knife (Or any other method that works!)
- Pick up RTSR, dupe Homeward Bone

Undead Parish
- Pick up Fire Keeper Soul
- Take Elevator to Firelink Shrine

Firelink Shrine
- Rest at bonfire, level Int (save at least 200 Souls)
- Kick Lautrec off the ledge, quitout and pick up FAP Ring
- Take Elevator to New Londo Ruins, equip FAP Ring on the Elevator and heal

New Londo Ruins
- Pick up Green Titanite Shard, Homeward Bone (you will need to dupe, this could be a bit tricky because of the ghosts, it may actually be more reliable to just pick up the Homeward Bones in Firelink at the start of the run so that duping isn't necessary here)
- After Homeward Bone, take the elevator back to New Londo Ruins
- Modify Uchigatana to Magic
- Head to Valley of Drakes, then Blighttown

Blighttown
- Kill Quelaag
- Ring the Bell and Homeward Bone

Firelink Shrine, Undead Parish, Sen's Fortress
- Dupe Quelaag's Soul to get at least 45800 Souls
- Rescue Logan
- Rest at the Sen's Fortress bonfire
- Buy 9 Green Titanite Shards from the merchant in Sen's Fortress, Homeward Bone
- Upgrade Uchigatana to +5 Magic
- RTSR setup off Crossbowman
- Kill Iron Golem

Anor Londo
- Use up Quelaag's Soul, equip Core of an Iron Golem
- Use Core of an Iron Golem 4 times
- Level 11 Vitality and as much Int as possible
- Rafters, Silver Knight Archers
- (Optional) Take O&S Bonfire
- Set up RTSR from Silver Knight at the bottom of the stairs
- Jump the Railing and Kill O&S
- Equip Longbow and shoot illusion of Gwynevere, Homeward Bone
- Warp to Firelink Shrine

Firelink Shrine
- Talk to Logan, leave, finish his dialogue so he leaves Firelink Shrine
- Talk to Griggs, buy Fall Control, Catalyst and Bellowing Dragoncrest Ring
- Jump down the hole, place the Lordvessel
- Level Int as much as possible, Attune Fall Control
- Warp to Anor Londo, Equip Catalyst for Fall Control

Anor Londo, Duke's Archives
- Duke Skip (Fall Control is optional here, but recommended)
- Rest at Duke's Archives bonfire (the balcony bonfire)
- Kill the Mimic, pick up the Enchanted Falchion, use it instead of the Uchigatana for the rest of the run
- Set up RTSR using Fall damage
- Kill the 3 Crystal Lizards (Quitout if you miss any)
- Kill Seath (This is an annoying fight as Seath doesn't take a lot of damage from the Enchanted Falchion)
- Homeward Bone
- Buy Homing Crystal Soulmass from Logan
- Kill Logan and pick up the Tin Crystalization Catalyst, use it for the rest of the run instead of the regular catalyst
- Open the Chest and take the Blue Titanite Chunk
- Homeward Bone
- Level Attunement to 12
- Attune Homing Crystal Soulmass
- Upgrade the Falchion as much as possible
- Warp to Undead Parish

Undead Parish/Darkroot Garden
- Buy the Crest of Artorias from Andre
- Open the Forest Door
- (Optional) Rest at the Forest Bonfire
- Pick up the Stone Armor
- Equip the Bellowing Dragoncrest Ring over the RTSR
- Kill Sif with Homing Crystal Soulmass and Falchion, Homeward Bone
- Warp to Firelink Shrine

Firelink Shrine, New Londo Ruins, Blighttown
- Go to Blighttown, go through the secret wall and talk to Eingyi
- Dupe Fire Keeper Soul to get 30 Humanity
- Reinforce Estus Flask
- Join Covenant
- Offer 30 Humanity to unlock the Chaos Shortcut

Demon Ruins/Lost Izalith
- Rest at the Demon Ruins bonfire
- Kill Ceaseless Discharge, Homeward Bone
- Cast Fall Control, run to lower Demon Ruins
- Drop off the cliff at a safe point
- Cast Homing Crystal Soulmass to kill the first Minor Capra Demon
- (Optional) Kill the Rockwurm using Homing Crystal Soulmass and take the bonfire (Level Int, if Int is already 50 level Vit)
- Open the Chaos Shortcut door
- (Optional) Kill the red Chaos Bug and get the Sunlight Maggot
- (Optional) Kill the Daughter of Chaos outside the Bed of Chaos boss area
- Kill Bed of Chaos using Tokhi Bombs, Homeward Bone
- Level Int/Vit if necessay, End if Int is already 50 and Vit is already 16
- Warp to Firelink Shrine

Firelink Shrine, Catacombs
- Run Through the Graveyard, push the lever, quitout as the lever animation is running
- Run outside and cast Fall Control
- Drop to the Valley floor (Fall Control Quitout or the 2 Platform Drop)
- Kill Pinwheel with Homing Crystal Soulmass x 1 and Falchion if necessary (in my test run he died to the HCS, but it may miss)
- (Optional, only if you got the Sunlight Maggot) Equip the Sunlight Maggot on the ladder after Pinwheel
- (Optional) Rest at the bonfire closest to Nito
- Kill Nito (Wear Stone Armor, mix and match HCS and Falchion), Homeward Bone
- Warp to Firelink

Firelink Shrine/New Londo Ruins
- Rest at the bonfire, do any necessary leveling (Int 50, Vit 16 are mandatory, Endurance after that)
- Take the Elevator, equip the Covenant of Artorias Ring over the FAP Ring, Cast Fall Control
- Seal Skip
- Drop an item as you hit the ground in The Abyss, Cast HCS, Equip Stone Armor
- Kill 4 Kings (Should be able to 3 Kings with good spell/Stamina management, but it's not guaranteed)
- Homeward Bone

Firelink Shrine/Altar/Kiln of the First Flame
- Jump down the Hole
- Offer Souls to Lordvessel
- Equip RTSR over Covenant of Artorias Ring
- Setup RTSR using the first Black Knight, 1 Regular hit
- Kill Gwyn with Homing Crystal Soulmass (Enter Foggate, roll, cast it once, parry, cast it again while backing up, cast again if Gwyn doesn't die.
