Cult background (what makes it unique, why it was formed, etc.):
Before the apocalypse, the cult of the machine grew into great power during the 21st Century, following the advancements in technology they thought they could surpass life its self and even create life if they embraced machinery and cybernetics.

During the cataclysm their leader, now calling himself Mechana had survived. Angered by this the Old god had gotten an idea. To allow him to be one with the machine. Mechana following this was formed into a twist amalgamation of wires and metallic skin. His blood changed into a sort of oil like substance that would "enhanced" machinery to work to its peak at the risk of destroying it. Not only that but with his blood he discovered he could breed new cultists. To Spite the old god, he vowed to enhance humanity with his gift. May it have been the old gods' wish? No one would know but the old god himself.
