Kejourou are a race of Youkai known for their incredibly long hair which is also very silky and pleasing to the touch. And they also able to freely move it around as they see fit.

In the past, long ago when youkai and monsters killed and ate humans, the Kejourou looked similar to how they do presently. However their hair was used by them to trap and slice up humans who would then be devoured. It might seem like their ability to make their hair razor sharp was lost or perhaps is dormant. In truth they are still able change their hair in such a way but they would never consider using it. In contrast touching their hair would cover your hand numerous cuts while it would be in this state. The sharpness of the hair never dulls and can cut just as well as it did before with frightening efficiency. The hair becomes much more resistant to any

But there's no need to worry as they actively avoid using it as much as they can for multiple fairly obvious reasons such as not wanting to intimidate or injure men they like or their current husbands or even other people around them. Avoiding to use it as often as possible is something they learn as children and using it to coerce men to having sex/marry them is frowned on by Kejourou and is even something that will get a Kejourou in trouble by the police. Luckily for them they can't change their hair in such a way easily. For them they have to really want to make it change.

If a man were to marry a Kejourou but was ignorant about it, they might not learn about it even years or decades later  since it's not really a subject a Kejourou will bring up openly. If they feel their own life is in danger, someone they care about is in danger, etc then they'll be far more likely to use it. Kejourou are indigenous to the Zipangu region and is thus where your best chances of finding one are. Though they have started to move to other countries or even visit as a tourist.

Aside from that places the Kejourou live in are basically in towns and cities; any place that has a lot of people. So it'd be rare to find one living alone and isolated from others out in the wilderness somewhere. Especially in a cave or high up on a mountain somewhere.

You also won't really find them in the middle of a desert or somewhere that has a fierce blizzard going on due to the nature of their hair.

Lastly depending on where they are in world they will either be disguised a human woman or openly show their true selves.

>Careers

In the past Kejourou almost entirely prostitutes but these days more and more of them turned away from it and went for other careers. They feel that doing so will put them in more situations to meet more men. There are still a good number of Kejourou prostitutes around and the other groups of Kejourou aren't bothered this nor do they bear them no animosity. Some prostitutes are more carefree and relaxed while others are more business-like, an attitude befitting that of a courtesan. Their clients give them all sorts of kinky ideas which they have fun doing. Some of the ideas they get will surprise even them. Kejourou who work as a prostitute tend to get along well with the Jurougumo who also does the same kind of work. They're more well behaved than usual but every now again they still enjoy lightly teasing their future master.

Being able to cook is something many Kejourou enjoy doing and it's another job they can be seen working it at various kinds of restaurants. Humans have a stigma towards having hair in their food so they make sure to work around that. Even though their hair can't fall out of their head like it does for a human, that knowledge isn't too common. Still, they take in stride and being able to hold multiple utensils, reaching ingredients that are too high makes cooking an easier endeavor for them

>Hair

The hair of a Kejourou is, of course, the thing they take pride in the most. On it's own their hair already more pleasing to touch, smell and look at than ordinary hair but they always want it to be more so by maintaining it properly from day to day.  Aside from their own reasons this is also for attracting potential husbands or for their current husbands benefit.

The number of things Kejourou uses their hair for in daily life is too numerous to count. They use it to dress themselves, reach things that they couldn't otherwise, just to name a few examples but they also use it for multi-tasking all the time as well

As far as the strength of their hair goes it's very strong despite its appearance. Even as a child their hair would be enough to carry an adult man and it would only get stronger as they age, not needing to do  to make it strong.  If you're wrapped in all of a Kejourou's hair it would be nigh impossible to break free and escape. Even if they use a small amount, attempting to pry it off of you would put you in a position to get more tangled up. If a man were to be a situation where more than one Kejourou had their hair wrapped around him then it would be impossible to escape and he'll be at the mercy at their whim. Some of the more sadistic Kejourou will deliberately act as though it would be possible to escape and not use much strength to hold a man in place but just before he'd get completely free she would just coil him up again. The reach with their hair is long though not infinite but since this is known to them, Kejourou who prefer a more direct approach to getting a husband will try to sneak around or disguise themselves as a human girl.

Even with all the strength they have incredible amounts of control over their hair. Exactly what parts of it they decide to move, How they choose to move it and so on. Similar to how a human doesn't even have to think about how they move their fingers, it's the same way for a Kejourou and her hair. It would be accurate to consider it an extra limb. They also have fast reflexes with their hair, reacting faster than their other limbs.

The Kejourou's hair can be, in its own way, quite expressive. A depressed Kejourou's hair might just sort of slump to the ground, covering her eyes. If she's happy it'll be more active than usual and so on. When they're sleeping it twitches a little and still manages to go a good job holding onto whatever it may be around.

When it comes to hugs, Kejourou will always wrap their hair around friends, family and their lover. To them it's a way of showing sincerity so it'd feel strange to them if they didn't do it. When it comes to their husband they love embracing him in this for a long time. Once they get any chores done they'll want just hug their husband for what can typically be hours on end while watching TV, reading books or any other kind of leisurely activity together.  They aren't a lazy race but in this case the chores an obstacle so they just want them out the way. Kejourou who get used to having their husband wrapped up in hair might get a little anxious if he has to leave for a significant amount of time. Each individual Kejourou's hair has its own distinct fragrance that is unique to them although it will be somewhat similar to family members and other relatives. It can be further enhanced with shampoo but some might be choosy as to what brands of shampoo they'll buy along with other things like hair brushes. Even though a Kejourou's hair is quite strong they won't need to use much of it unless the man their after struggles thanks to the hair itself and the fragrance it has. Kejourou will have fun playing with a man's hair though, even tangling her hair in his own. Even being bald wouldn't dissuade a Kejourou. If anything it'd mean more scalp massages for the man in question. When semen is released into the hair, it gets absorbed rather quickly into it. The smell of the semen too, seems to get drowned out by the Kejourou's fragrance eventually, almost as if it was never there. Despite all the strength Kejourou hair has they're about as strong as the average human without factoring in their hair and they aren't particularly fast runners either though they certainly could be if they tried with enough effort and training. They also aren't really known for being warriors likely because while their hair is their biggest strength it's also a weakness too. They most definitely don't like the prospect of getting their hair on fire or otherwise damaged.

>Early years & Childhood

As you may expect, baby Kejourou are indeed born with hair that is as long as their body and it will continue to grow in length as they grow older until they stop growing around the same time a human would. Even though the length of a Kejourou's hair will be very long sometimes it can be longer or shorter than the expected norm by an inch or two

For the most part, a baby Kejourou will act just like a human one with a notable exception being that she'll use her hair to explore and interact with the environment around her though  they aren't very skilled at controlling it and may cause a mess. Despite all the previous talk of a Kejourou's hair being strong, a baby's hair will be quite weak in comparison though that'll change within a couple of years. If it cries and you've done everything you can think of, stroking the baby's hair will help calm it down.

When they're older and go to school they'll meet plenty of other MGs or humans around her age. Luckily for them the Kejourou don't really dislike any other race of MGs so it should be easy for them to make friends. They'll be especially fond of boys who attend the same school as them. As the two of the them grow older and eventually the Kejourou will want to marry the man she grew up with. Kejourou children may give a lock of a hair to a boy they really like which would be earlier than the norm if they wind up making a promise to marry each other when they get older and seek him out years later

>Traditions and Mindset

Kejourou spend a good amount of time fussing over their hair before going out in public but being able to move their own hair makes it a good deal easier for them. They don't really ask their husband for help with it too much and they leave their husbands hair alone as far as how they like to style it although they will give plenty of suggestions and advice if asked. Although all Kejourou grow up learning about hair, how enthusiastic they are about it varies. It's not a rare thing to see even some other monster girls ask a Kejourou they know as a friend for advice. Although being asked to brush their hair from them isn't because they need help with it but rather is a much more quiet and intimate moment. They'll lead you to someplace quiet where nothing will bother to the two of you. During this the hair will, surprisingly not move much at all and she'll sit still and let you brush in peace but you'll find that if she's really enjoying she won't let you stop early. However if you brush for an exceedingly long amount of time, she'll become more and more aroused and she won't be able to take it and thus will put an end to the hair brush.

On the other hand you might be tempted to not use a brush after awhile and just use your hands, running them through her hair. She certainly won't complain about this either and after that you might be tempted further to put your face in her hair which will undoubtedly end the session. So brushing a Kejourou's hair in such a way is most certainly foreplay. Also as possibly a side result of their hair being able to feel things their scalp is sensitive so there's always the option of giving them a scalp massage. What kind of man a Kejourou likes varies as does how they decide to make them theirs. Reacting positively isn't the only factor but it definitely helps in making her more interested in you.


Regardless of their personality when they ultimately decide to consider him her husband it will be the time to give him a lock of hair. Even a proud or haughty Kejourou would find it incredibly difficult to make eye-contact with the man as she presents the hair to him. Usually in the middle or so of the hair will be a ribbon of some kind. A less popular method would be to get a tattoo of his name. It has the same weight as a standard marriage proposal and once you accept it they'll undoubtedly be incredibly happy. From then on you'll be expected to have the hair with you always. Having the hair is proof enough of marriage so it technically isn't necessary to get a traditional wedding but a Kejourou would certainly love to have one.  It is painful for them to actually cut it unlike normal hair so because of that and the weight it has Kejourou never go to get a hair cut of any kind and it also can't fall out of their head. Thus giving the man they love the lock of hair will be the only time in their life where their hair will be cut at all. As it's not a decision might lightly a Kejourou who is rejected in this way will not give up on him

Even though the hair is severed it can still move around on its own unless the husband is a significant distance away from her such as a business trip. They actually would encourage you to use the severed hair to help masturbate with and it'll still absorb semen so it's handy for clean up.

Some Kejourou prostitutes will disguise themselves as just a human prostitute and revealing their true selves in the middle of sex. While they're disguised their hair shrinks to about the human standard of what is considered long hair. Their ability to move their hair is restricted and hair won't be able to charm men as well. To a man it'll just smell really nice. This ability isn't really used much once they marry though.

In the place of blindfolds, handcuffs, collars and so on, Kejourou will simply use their hair in its place.

During a full moon a Kejourou's hair can grow far beyond what they're normally capable of, being able to bar doors while still having more than enough hair to attend to their lover

Kejourou sometimes work together, especially if they're sisters, to ensnare a single man. He wouldn't be to move at all if this happened and the smell of two different Kejourou's hair will essentially combine and be even stronger so he'd be even more entranced. Sisters tend to be able to synchronize the movements of their hair to great effect. It's not something to be underestimated.
