  4. <Hal> Alucard, I think we could handle leaving to rest for the night.

  6. <Alucard> I can't help but to get the creeping feeling that my Father indirectly possessed me and tried to have me killed via Bloodwind's hands
  7. <DM> *Recap! Last time, you solved a few more interesting puzzles, when Bloodwind appeared. Before entering a long philosophical debate about the morality of killing mindless creatures vs. intelligent beings, Sephiroth (character) left the dungeon and the quest entirely, wanting nothing to do with Bloodwind. You also killed an Ice Keese, and it turned out Bloodwind was an illusion the whole time.*
  8. * Hal leaves the dungeon, to rest for the night.
  9. <Alucard> I will never let that happen again
  10. <DM> *You head to the northern inn at Hyrule Village to find some decent rest.*

  12. * Alucard finds a coffin somewhere and sleeps in it
  13. * Hal rests up and buys Delta Force

  20. * Hal heads back to the dungeon.
  21. <DM> *There's a woman wearing a black hakama and short, black hair waiting at the exit of the inn. She blocks Hal's exit of the inn.*

  23. <Hal> Hello?
  24. <Hal> Is there anything you ask of me?
  25. <DM> [???]: Is it true that dungeon you're dealing with is what's blocking Subrosia Village?
  26. * Alucard escapes the coffin, leaves the cemetary and is now waiting outside the inn
  27. <Hal> Yes.
  28. <Alucard> It would appear to be so, Milady
  29. <DM> [???]: Good. I'm joining you.
  30. <DM> [???]: Darn barrier is blocking the shop.
  31. <DM> [???]: And I need to ask Smithy some questions....
  32. <Alucard> Milady, might I ask who you are?
  33. <DM> *She doesn't bother turning in Alucard's direction, though she sniffs the air briefly before remarking.*
  34. <DM> [???]: Whatever is behind me smells familiar.
  35. * Alucard continues standing near the inn's entrance, cleary annoyed with the person's behavior
  36. <DM> *She finally turns toward's Alucard, her eyelids half closed, partially from unamusement.*
  37. <DM> [???]: ... nope, not the same thing as that annoying whip user.
  38. <Alucard> You mean Belmont?
  39. <Hal> (Roka?)
  40. <DM> [???]: I forgot his name, but sure.
  41. <Alucard> I suppose I was being rather rude myself.
  42. <Alucard> I should introduce myself. I am Alucard.
  43. <DM> [???]: Men are rude, so don't bother covering for it.

  48. * Alucard heads back to ice dungeon

  50. <DM> *You all head back towards the ice dungeon and reach the entrance room in all its entrancing glory.*
  51. <Alucard> Hal, do you still have your map. It seems that in my haste I left mine in the coffin I was sleeping in.

  65. * Alucard points to the boss door near the north
  66. <Hal> No.

  68. <Hal> We should go the North Hall next.
  69. * Hal points to the North Hall on the map.
  70. * Alucard heads through the western door into the north hall
  71. * Roka follows you.
  72. * Hal follows Alucard
  73. <DM> *You immediately run into a patrol group of three Chillfos.*
  74. * Hal gears up for battle.
  75. <DM> *They don't notice you entering, and their backs are against you.*
  76. * Alucard draws his sword and arms his shield
  77. * Alucard prepares for a sneak attack
  78. * Hal immedately sneak-attacks one of the Chillfos with his Wizzrobe Wand (Roll Wisdom!)

  208. * Roka sheathes her katanas and follows.
  209. <DM> *You head back into the Atrium. The door to the east remains unlocked, as does the door to the south.*
  210. * Alucard heads to the northern door and examines it
  211. <Alucard> (looking specificly at it's keyhole)
  212. <DM> *The Atrium's north door is locked by a large keyhole embedded inside of a skull. Chains extended from the skull and wrap around the door, which extends to the ceiling.*
  213. <DM> (in height, that is)
  214. <Hal> It appears that the key won't fit this lock.
  215. <Alucard> Hmm...
  216. * Roka looks on the map again.
  217. <Roka> ... what are the yellow doors?
  218. <Alucard> Hal, did you see any other locked doors in our travels through this place?
  219. <Hal> In the Water Control room and in the East Hall.
  220. <Hal> The yellow doors appear to be licked doors.
  221. <Hal> *locked
  222. <Alucard> Which one of these is nearer to us?
  223. <Roka> The hallway is closer.
  224. <Alucard> Then we should head there at once
  225. * Roka heads through the door to the East Hall.
  226. * Hal follows Roka
  227. * Alucard follows Roka and puts his sword away
  228. <DM> *You enter the East Hall, with a locked door to the north and two chutes on the south wall that exit into this hallway. You also notice that Fraaz doesn't appear to be around.*
  229. <Alucard> Strange..
  230. * Hal walks to the locked door on the North wall.
  231. * Alucard heads to the locked door near the north
  232. <DM> *This appears to just be a normal door lock with a small keyhole.*
  233. * Hal examines the keyhole.
  234. <Hal> The small key should fit here nicely.
  235. * Hal puts the small key into the lock and twists it.
  236. <DM> *The door clicks as it unlocks.*
  237. * Alucard enters the now unlocked north door
  238. <Hal> (Something tells me that this is the Gleeok room from the other side)
  239. * Hal enters the newly unlocked door.
  240. <Alucard> Has anyone seen Fraaz after I went off and chased after Sephiroth
  241. <Alucard> ?
  242. <Hal> Not really.
  243. <DM> *You enter a small room with a table resembling Shady's shop, but no Shady to be found. Instead, there's two items sitting on the table.*
  244. * Hal examines the two items.
  245. <Roka> Who's Fraaz?
  246. * Alucard looks around the room for anything else noteworthy about it
  247. <Hal> A spirit, related to Blaaz and Shady.
  248. * Alucard turns to Roka and gives a brief recap of what all had happened
  249. <DM> (go on, elaborate that "brief recap" out a bit)
  250. <DM> *There's a black cloth covering the table, which also drapes to the floor. Nothing else is notable about the room. As for the items....*
  251. <Alucard> To make a long story short, I didn't know I was being subtly possessed by my father until now, we meet fraaz, bloodwind showed up, Sephiroth fled, I chased after him and tried attacking bloodwind. Basicly stupidity in a nutshell

  262. <Roka> From what I just witnessed, you seem useless anyways.

  264. <Hal> But they might be useful in some circumstances.
  265. <Roka> The furry seems somewhat useful.
  266. <Alucard> Milady, I object to your terminology. Hal and Sephiroth would not have lasted as long without me.

  268. <Roka> Then pick up the totems and be more useful.

  274. * Alucard heads south then west back into the atrium
  275. * Roka looks at the table briefly before sighing and following Alucard out.
  276. * Alucard then heads westward through the western doorway and into the North hall, he then continues westward and into the Switcher

  290. * Roka sheathes her swords.
  291. <Hal> I meant the cloth on the table we just saw.
  292. <Roka> Oh, I thought I'd keep silent on that, but it seems someone here has a brain after all.
  293. <Hal> (This is why I must explain exactly what everything is)
  294. * Hal continues to the room with the table.
  295. <DM> *You get back to the room with the table. It remains there, unamused.*
  296. <Sephiroth> FLIP THE TABLE!
  297. * Sephiroth runs.

  301. * Hal grabs the draping cloth on the table and yanks it off.
  302. <DM> (that was the player, Alucard, not the character, lol)

  304. <DM> *You yank the cloth off. The table remains there, unamused but slightly embarrased.*
  305. <Alucard> I do not think that yanking that cloth off is a good idea
  306. <Roka> Fine.

  308. * Hal flips the table.

  319. <DM> *You see a patch of unfrozen floor where the table was. There's a noticable gap between the unfrozen patch and the icy floor around it.*
  320. <Alucard> Hmm.. What if I used my sword as a lever and pried the floor panel open?
  321. * Roka feels the unfrozen floor.
  322. <Roka> No need.
  323. * Roka picks up what seems to be a floor mat and throws it to the side.

  326. <Alucard> Are you certain? the floor panel looks rather solid.

  328. <Roka> ... so what? It was heavy.
  329. * Roka turns away from the two of you. Her arm strength does not appear to be her forte.
  330. * Alucard continues standing in a rather calm and stoic manner
  331. * Sephiroth kicks Roka out the window.
  332. * Sephiroth has kicked Roka from #zurpg (You have been kicked out the window and you landed on Sephiroth's old dial-up modem! Wow it's slow! «15,851»)
  333. * Hal continues standing calmly.
  334. * Roka is now buffering.
  335. <DM> *Below the floor mat appears to be a piece of paper with a drawing on it.*
  336. * Alucard examines the drawing
  337. * Sephiroth draws a smiley face on Alucard's forehead and then vanishes into thin-air.
  338. <DM> *There's five beings in it, some of which you recognize.*
  339. <Alucard> Is that... Belmont?
  340. <Hal> Harvey?
  341. * Alucard passes it to Hal
  342. <Hal> He was... here?
  343. <DM> *It has Shady holding hands with a Kokiri and a Skullkid, with Fraaz and Blaaz floating to the sides.*
  344. * Roka finally loads from the buffering and looks at the picture.
  345. <Hal> Who might the Kokiri and the Skullkid be?
  346. <Alucard> I was initally mistaken
  347. <DM> *The Kokiri seems to be a female, but none you recognize (it's not Saria). The skullkid is wearing a fake, blue version of Majora's Mask and is carrying several darts in his hand.*
  348. <Hal> I hope Fraaz saw this so she could tell us who they are.
  349. <Roka> Huh? Is that Sleepy? *pointing at the skullkid*
  350. <Alucard> I find it amusing that my contact Shady is in this picture as well, I am still looking for any news of my Father's activities
  351. <Alucard> And Shady has proven himself to be a rather reliable source of news
  352. <Alucard> I learned about the "Mist over Parapa Bay" incident from him
  353. <DM> *All of them also seem to be smiling in the picture.... Shady, Fraaz and Blaaz all have the ^_^ expression, the female Kokiri seems to be forcing a smile, and it seems someone drew a smiley face on the Skullkid's mask.*
  354. <Alucard> Speaking of which, I hope we get to the bottum of this soon and hopefully figure out what's wrong with him
  355. <Hal> Hopefully that will happen.
  356. <Roka> He used Monochrome Eclipse, that's all I know.
  357. <Alucard> From what I heard, that is a powerful move.
  358. <Alucard> Anyways we should keep moving
  359. <Roka> Don't tell me there's idiots trapped in that portal he's blocking.
