  1. June was born in the Hoenn region, near the more tropical part of the mainland as an Eevee, to a Flareon mother and an Eevee father. Being born to two parents who were absolutely against the paradigm of their world, she was raised to be much the same way and as such became a fiercely independent individual, to the point where she would rarely even ask her parents for help. Though they would still offer, and even assist her in the smallest of ways, not wanting to dampen her free spirit. Her parents taught her many things about how to live in the wild, and about the world in which they lived. They taught her how to hunt, how to build a shelter, what was safe and not safe to eat, and even the best hiding spots, to avoid the snare when some foolhardy trainer was on the hunt.

  3. June absolutely adored her parents, and they adored their daughter in turn, wishing only the absolute best for her and for her to live a full and healthy life. Of course, she and her parents were also constantly on the run, always on the move to avoid capture by evil trainers who, in their minds, wanted to do unspeakable things to them.

  5. On her 13th birthday, her mother gifted her with a very special present. A long-standing tradition in June's family was that every mother must find their child an Evolution Stone corresponding to the one they themselves were given. As such, June was gifted a Fire Stone. June happily accepted this gift, and immediately became a Flareon before her parents' eyes. Overjoyed at her transformation and now burning with a fiery passion to rival the sun itself, June accidentally started a fire in the forest in which they lived. Luckily, no pokemon were harmed, and no trees were harmed as the new Flareon's flames weren't even strong enough to sustain themselves. This amused the Flareon's mother, who proceeded to properly instruct June in her new abilities, teaching her how to use them effectively.

  7. Personality
  8. June absolutely loves to fight, being a hot-headed fire type pokemon. She's a rather feisty pokemon, and often gets into trouble because of this. June is untrusting of pokemon trainers because of the world she was born into and the way she was raised, taught from a very young age that trainers are evil. In fact, her upbringing somewhat warped her view of any sort of authority that wasn't her loving and caring parents, which has also gotten the Flareon into trouble... She's been independent for most of her life because of her upbringing as well, unable to ask for help because she wants to do things herself.

  10. Because of the laws in place, the Flareon was often made to visit pokemon centers for routine checkups, where she was outfitted with a special collar that intercepted certain nerve impulses, for the safety of the medical staff there. After all, she had been known to be violently against the system in place. Of course, because of this form of control, she only became even more distrusting of the establishment, and became fearful of these visits. Still, she really had no choice in the matter; the government had shown that if "strays" disobeyed enough, they'd be rounded up and thrown in kennels. A form of "animal control" they called it... The Flareon had witnessed such a spectacle on three separate occasions, each one serving to only deepen her hatred and distrust for those in charge, but those demonstrations worked... the Flareon had been strong-armed into going along with the medical checkups; she didn't want to be locked up, with that collar around her throat forever, after all.

  12. And it wasn't like she didn't have a means of escape from her hellish existence. Indeed, whenever she wasn't being hunted by trainers or made to go to state mandated checkups, the Flareon would be out adventuring, seeing the different regions and experiencing the rich culture hosted by each one. She loved each of the places she visited, from the quiet rural parts of Kanto to the dense hustle and bustle of the cities of Kallos. She'd even gone on a few expeditions into the vast deserts of both the Hoenn and Unova regions, and met the Ground-type Pokemon there.
  13.
  14. It would be hard for the Flareon to pick a favorite out of the places she's visited, but if she absolutely had to... she'd likely pick the castle ruins in the deserts of the Unova region. Dank, dark and secluded... that musty yet somewhat refreshing air... You would think that so much sand and rock, as well as the claustrophobic environments would make the fire-type nervous, and you'd be right; however, such an environment didn't matter to the Flareon, because of the stories told by the ruins. What must've happened to make such a previously grand and prosperous castle fall into such squalor... such mysteries are what made the Flareon lust for adventure; she loved reading about legends and such as a kid, and getting to visit these places as someone older? It was like a dream come true for her.
