Gerlinde

Gerlinde was the 1st born daughter of her mother and father, Gerlinde had 4 brothers all of which were at least 8 to 18 years older then her. Unfortunately, Gerlinde wouldn't be able to enjoy her mother's touch for long since she died during labor.

A few years passed and Gerlinde, although very weak in her first years of live seemed to have completely recovered from this. Mostly raised by her brothers she seemed to be one of them. Most would mistake her for a male when meeting her for the first time. While her brothers worked the fields and rivers the best they could Gerlinde, as the only woman of the household was forced to take care of her dying father from the age of 7 till the age of 10. She'll never forget the last words from that old man.

Another 5 years passed. During this time Gerlinde had lost 2 of her brothers to the humanoids roaming outside the walls. She vaguely remembers seeing one of these creatures before. All this time she had never heard of Titans. Being the rebelious type she was she spend large portions of her time on the walls, observing them. It wouldn't take long before her brothers started to notice, they knew it was dangerous and she knew all too well they were not going to let it slide.

On this cold winter day Gerlinde spend her time on top of the walls again. Ice had formed on top of the walls and even the guards didn't bother to spend up at the unprotected area's of wall. Gerlinde however, did. She had gotten quite agile and knew her way around these massive fences of stone, mostly due to the constant running from the guards.

On this day her oldest brother who had joined the uncategorized army who fought against the creatures they called Titans. With small agile steps the girl fled after a hundred meters her brother slipped, turning she was just able to catch her brother for a split second, unfortunately the force of his fall was too much and he slipped and fell 50 meters down to his death. The girl watched in shock as her brother was devoured by these monsters.

A week later her last brother, the youngest of the 4 jumped the wall, as depression showed it's wings the boy was swallowed whole by a titan.

5 years passed and now, her current story begins.

Total harpoon: 14
locations: arms 2 ea, legs 2 ea, hips 2 ea and two on either elbow pointing backwards.
Powered: Arms  = Calcium carbide.  Legs = gunpowder. Hips = springs. Elbows = Gun powder

Designed by herself Gerlinde has developed one of the first calcium carbide powered harpoon. armed with a small metal barrel with the compound and a smaller water storage Gerlinde is able to control the water supply to the compound.

 a modified handle is attached to the harpoon made for her arms, with these comes a simple flint and steel ignition button to fire said harpoon into any terrain.

Like most others at this time the other firing mechanisms are either powered by spring or black powder as for retracting the metal cable, she too, like any other uses a spring powered set up combined with a tiny tool used to pull oneself up with natural strength.
