this seems like a plausible idea. and the big part of lore isnt whether a piece of technology or new monsters around the town are like real life, but whether they can seem to fit in the theme of the show. And having tiny little air cars that float along on clouds instead of wheels, or a ship that uses a network of captured clouds to provide lift seems like it would fit right in the show
