As the Mane 6, battered and bruised from the conflicts beforehand channeled their powers through the elements of harmony at the once again defeated Queen of Changelings. “It’s finally over” Twilight declared, Chrysalis vehemently replied “do you think I am that stupid? I know the powers that lie in those pathetic elements.”		Before Twilight could ask what she meant the very earth seemed to shake, a deep, disembodied voice with a slightly amused tone resounded throughout the very air; the recognition of it sent chills down the back of twilight. The voice, obviously that of Discord’s asked, “do you know how boring it is to be encased in stone after a day of freedom?” not waiting for an answer he continued “I’ve been an inanimate object twice now and while it isn’t the most stimulating of activities, the respite has allowed me some time to ponder.” Discords voice quickly becoming more sinister, “why it is that order is maintained? Like everything in nature it has a duality, you cannot have light without the dark, nor can you have love without hate, friendship without loathe.  So in order there is chaos, so while I do enjoy chaos; who said I can’t rule over it?”
The ground shook once more; rubble beginning to fall from the cave ceiling, “while I’d love to stay and watch your decent into madness, I have unfinished business to tend to.” said Chrysalis as she backed into the deep blackness of the cave’s interior. Before the gang could pursue the ceiling began collapsing around the group of ponies, cutting off the route Chrysalis took and quickly narrowing the entrance to the alcove.
“We need to move, now” stated Rainbow dash, with the motivation of the collapsing cave they quickly exited, “not a moment too soon” said Applejack as she observed the cave entrances collapse. Once they collectively gathered their wits they stared at each other in disbelief until finally Twilight asked herself “why didn’t the elements work? They worked when Celestia banished Nightmare Moon, they worked on discord, why do they fail now?” Fluttershy put her hoof on Twilight’s shoulder as she continued her self-interrogation “why does nothing work? I don-” “well there’s no sense crying about it now, I think the best thing to do now is to go home and get some rest, it’s been an awfully big day sugar cube and we’ll need all the rest we can get if we have to deal with discord again” interrupted Applejack. Rarity than added “just look at your condition, I wouldn’t want to be in public looking like that, much less fighting the sole harbinger of strafe, chaos and disaster” After a few more words of motivation Twilight pulled her hoofs away from her face, “thanks girls, I really am lucky to have such good friends”

And then Shining-Armor said “LETS CATCH SOME GNARLY WAVES TWILY.”
