  76. administrative control. Direction or exercise of authority over subordinate or
  77. other organizations in respect to administration and support, including
  78. organization of Service forces, control of resources and equipment, personnel
  79. management, unit logistics, individual and unit training, readiness, mobilization,
  80. demobilization, discipline, and other matters not included in the operational
  81. missions of the subordinate or other organizations. Also called ADCON.

  83. combatant command (command authority). Nontransferable command
  84. authority established by title 10 (“Armed Forces”), United States Code, section
  85. 164, exercised only by commanders of unified or specified combatant commands
  86. unless otherwise directed by the President or the Secretary of Defense.
  87. Combatant command (command authority) cannot be delegated and is the
  88. authority of a combatant commander to perform those functions of command
  89. over assigned forces involving organizing and employing commands and forces,
  90. assigning tasks, designating objectives, and giving authoritative direction over all
  91. aspects of military operations, joint training, and logistics necessary to
  92. accomplish the missions assigned to the command. Combatant command
  93. (authority) should be exercised through the commanders of subordinate
  94. organizations. Normally this authority is exercised through subordinate joint force
  95. commanders and Service and/or functional component commanders.
  96. Combatant command (command authority) provides full authority to organize and
  97. employ commands and forces as the combatant commander considers
  98. necessary to accomplish assigned missions. Operational control is inherent in
  99. combatant command (authority). Also called COCOM. (JP 1)
  100. computer network exploitation. Enabling operations and intelligence collection
  101. capabilities conducted through the use of computer networks to gather data from
  102. target or adversary automated information systems or networks. Also called
  103. CNE. (JP 3-13)
  104. cyber tasking order. Tasking document used by the AF cyber component
  105. commander to task assigned AF cyber forces to perform specific actions at
  106. specific time frames in support of AF and Joint requirements. Also called CTO.

  108. cyberspace. Cyberspace is a global domain within the information environment
  109. consisting of the interdependent network of information technology
  110. infrastructures, including the Internet, telecommunications networks, computer
  111. systems, and embedded processors and controllers. (JP1-02) [Cyberspace is a
  112. domain that requires man-made technology to enter and exploit. The only
  113. difference is that it is easier to see and sense the other domains. As with air and
  114. space, effects of cyberspace operations can occur simultaneously in many
