  1. You are deep in a labyrinth, known in legend only as "Data". Through each of its baroque, ominously vaulted corridors extend lines. The archways of these corridors bear cryptic words, labels which help you navigate the sprawling eldritch design of its impossibly manifold spaces. Step by step, you follow the lines guiding you through the fathomless reaches of its mouldering stone, its edifice burdened by inscrutable glyphs and formulae. Your mind ever-labouring to tease from its alien configuration an intelligible message, you construct from this sinister whispering architecture a vivid delusion of a game played with stars and blood. And in the hoary passage of aeons, you come to realize this ceaseless expanse of maddening halls was not merely a cosmic torment afflicted on you, but that in the course of your pathological fantasy you conjured new space and structure, that its every stone is hewn from the deranged imagination of those compelled and so condemned to seek an understanding of its infinite puzzle and the process of their own inexorable march into damnation.
