INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE IT WORK:

OPTION1
Go to Control Panel -> Network and Sharing -> adapter settings -> right click and set EVERYTHING to 'Disabled'
Launch Cube.exe
Un-disable your Internet
You are now playing Cube World!

If it crashes, you didn't disable the internet properly.

OPTION2
Download Sandboxie from the official website
Download Cube World client
Setup a sandbox (this also prevents a possible virus doing anything)
In sandbox setting click --> (http://i.imgur.com/EQvUJDp.jpg)
Right click Cube.exe and run Sandboxed

No need to do network fuckery anymore!
