- Sen to Man (千と万) -
- The title is based on their names, along with the alternative readings / meanings of the kanji used.
- "Sen (千)" means "Thousand" and is a part of the father's name, "Chihiro (千広)".
- "Man (万)" means "Ten Thousand" and is a part of the daughter's name, "Shima (詩万)".
- "To (と)" is a particle similar to "and".
- Thus, the title can be interpreted as "Thousand and Ten Thousand" or "Chi(hiro) and (Shi)ma", but the official reading would be the former.
