Unconventional Magic - 15: Nightmare in Ponyville

>The next couple weeks went by rather uneventful
>You were starting to miss Rainbow Dash, but you knew you were both better off
>And that she would be back soon
>Twilight almost constantly wanted to take 'samples' from you for the first couple days after you acquired Berry Punch's 'flavor'
>Unfortunately she hasn't learned too much yet
>Berry's claims were mostly confirmed though, it definitely had healthy properties to it
>Twilight was planning on bringing in Berry herself some time soon to run some more tests
>You were really curious to find out about that, so you didn't seek out any other mares yet
>Nightmare Night was also coming up, and that was on your mind more than anything
>You were just hoping Princess Luna had her shit together and could participate
>Twilight told you about what happened the year before, Luna's first Nightmare Night after escaping her thousand-year exile on the moon
>You were looking forward to see her come out and do her act, maybe even join her
>Today was the day
>Rarity told you yesterday she had your suit done
>You considered having her create something for Twilight, like a Catwoman suit or something, but Twilight wouldn't have it
>She insisted on dressing as Star Swirl the Bearded, which is apparently what she did last year
>The same thing twice?
>Really Twilight?
>Oh well, if that's what she wants, screw it

>You don't plan on sticking with her the whole night, you're going to sneak around in the shadows and have some fun
>So when your morning duties are finished, you decide to pay Rarity a visit
>As you walk in through her front door, you spot her coming out of a back room and taking notice of you
>"Oh good morning Anonymous, how are you this fine morning?"
"Anxious, and yourself?"
>"Wonderful, thank you, though I'm admittedly a tad nervous about the quality of that costume you requested of me."
"Oh don't be, I'm sure it's fine. Can I take it now?"
>"Certainly, it's in the back room here."
>Rarity turns around and into the room she just came out of, and you follow her in
>Inside were a number of mannequins, mostly p0ny, but there were a couple for griffons, minotaur, mule, and some others
>In the center of the room was one human mannequin, designed to your specific measurements
>This mannequin donned your Dark Knight suit, and damn did it look good
>Your eyes widen at the sight, and you immediately teleport up in front of it
>It looked identical to the image you provided, and that alone was satisfying
>But what was even better was that it was tough, durable
>It felt like what you imagine the real suit would feel like
>"Well, what do you think?" Rarity asks
>There is a hint of nervousness in her voice
>Seconds pass before you're able to respond
"Rarity, this is incredible!"
>You conjure up some magic to lift the suit off the mannequin

>After taking off your shirt and pants, you put the suit on
>It's a perfect fit, and feels rather nice
>"Does it fit well enough?"
"Perfectly! This is amazing, you really have outdone yourself Rarity."
>She lets out a sigh of relief
>"Well I'm glad to hear it Anonymous."
"How much do I owe you?"
>"Oh, don't you worry abou-"
"No, seriously, name a price and I'll pay it. I won't let this go unrewarded Rarity."
>"Bu- Hmm... Perhaps you could assist me with some things some time then."
"Sounds good to me, just say the word."
>"I'll be sure to let you know."
"Alright, well sorry to take off so soon but I have to show this to Twilight."
>"Oh no worries, I have a rather busy day ahead of me still anyway."
>You conjure some magic and lift Rarity into the air, bringing her to you as you clutch her in a vice-grip hug
"Thank you so much for this Rarity!"
>"Don't- mention it-" she gasps for air "Watch- the mane- please!"
>After that you let her go and set her down
"Heh, sorry. Well, I'll see you tonight then!"
>With that you teleport to Twilight's house
>She doesn't notice you right away, so you decide to float your way to the ceiling and hang upside down from some of the rafters
>Twilight continues wandering around, going over her check-lists and such
>Eventually you begin whispering her name in a deep voice
>She stops and looks around each time
>Before long she seems to be getting frightened
>"Hello? Who's there? This isn't funny!"

"Twilight Sparkle." you whisper again
>Finally, she looks up and gasps when she spots you
>That very moment you teleport behind her, right-side up, extending your arms outward to show your cape
>Shaking, she slowly looks around some more, eventually turning around
>When she sees you she screams and jumps back
"That scary huh?" you ask in a deep voice
>"A-Anon?"
"Well duh, who else would I be?" you respond in your normal voice
>"Whoa... Rarity really did a good job, but why did you have to scare me like that!?"
"Oh come on isn't that what Nightmare Night is all about?"
>"Ugh, I guess..."
>You take your hood off and crouch down, extending your arms forward
>Twilight reluctantly walks toward you and into your embrace as you bring her in for a kiss
>After a few seconds you let her go
"Man, if that scared you that much then I'm gonna have some fun tonight for sure."
>"Yeah, please don't get too carried away."
>Before you can respond, there's a knock on Twilight's front door
>"Come in!" Twilight shouts
>You both turn to the door when it opens
>What you see is definitely not what you would expect
>Coming through the front door and closing it behind her was Princess Luna
>"Princess Luna!" Twilight shouts again, trotting up to her
>"Good afternoon Twilight Sparkle, and Anonymous."
"Princess Luna."
>Twi:"Are you going to be here tonight to celebrate Nightmare Night with us again?" she asks enthusiastically

>L:"Yes, I look forward to it." she says to Twilight, smiling at her
>Luna shifts her gaze to you, smile diminishing
>L:"Anonymous, I would like to apologize for my behavior since the Discord incident. I have not been... myself."
"Oh.. Hey, don't worry about it Princess. It was a difficult time for all of us."
>L:"Indeed it was. Since then I have been curious however, and I believe it has got the better of me. With your permission I would like to peer into your memories, and see those events for myself from beginning to end."
"Whoa, you can do that? ...Hmm, that's quite the request Luna. But if you insist, and agree to only look into the events during the time Discord was out, go ahead. I doubt you'll like much of what you see though, so don't freak out."
>L:"I will keep that in mind. Now please close your eyes and try to keep your mind clear. It will make things easier for me."
>Nodding, you close your eyes as Luna approaches and places her horn onto your head
>Within just a few seconds you can feel a magical presence within your mind
>As her spell is working, you begin to relive certain memories of that time
>Images come into your mind clear as day
>When you first saw Eris, when she and Discord took your Dashie away from you, when you forced yourself onto Lyra and Twilight, when you brought them and the others back
>The most prominent things that came to you were your short battles against Eris and Discord

>The attack of yours that pierced through Eris before she was sealed stays in your mind longer than the rest
>Was Luna focusing on this?
>Why?
>It's not like you killed her
>Why would that matter anyway?
>Before you know it, it was over, and her presence was absent from your mind
>Opening your eyes, you see Luna looking down in thought
"Well? All done?"
>Luna slowly looks back up at you
>L:"Yes. Thank you Anonymous, that was most... informative. I must go now, but I shall return soon. Farewell you two."
>Twi:"Oh. Goodbye Princess Luna!"
>Luna doesn't respond, instead heading out the door and taking flight
>Twi:"Well that wa-"
"Not right. I saw what she was looking at. She was looking for something, and she didn't like what she found. I can't imagine why though, but something tells me she's still conflicted about something."
>"Hmm? What was she looking for then?"
"Something about Eris. Specifically the minutes leading up to her defeat, when we battled her, and when her and I were- Uh, well you know. Maybe Luna doesn't trust me since that little incident I had? Maybe she thinks Eris had something to do with it?"
>"I don't know Anon, that sounds a little silly. Maybe you should just talk to her about it? Be honest and friendly and maybe she'll open up about it."
"Yeah I guess. I'll bring it up to her some time tonight."
>"Well I still have some work to do around here, feel free to stick around if you want."

"Sure, I don't really have anything else to do. And I don't want anyp0ny to see me in this costume until tonight so yeah, I will stay here. In fact, I may just take a little nap."
>With that, you kick back on one of Twilight's couches
>Before long, you drift off
>Some time later, you're woken by Twilight
>"Anon! Wake up, something's wrong!"
>You came to attention rather quickly, must not have been out very long
"Hmm? What's going on Twi, why is it dark? Have I been sleeping that long?"
>"That's just it, you've been sleeping for less than an hour. The sun suddenly went down and the moon came up. I don't know if this is part of Luna's plan or not, but it's a little extreme, and I haven't heard back from Celestia yet so-"
>"Twilight!" yells Spike as he comes running into the room with a scroll in his hand
>Twilight snatches it from him with her magic, and opens it up
>"Oh. Well, maybe it is part of her plan. But this is still a bit extreme, I think she's going too far, don't you Anon?"
"Yeah, but I won't complain. Let's just not worry about it for now, we'll know for sure when she comes back here tonight."
>More time passes as you wait in Twilight's house for her to finish her work and for it to actually get late enough in the evening for the festivites to truly begin
>Before long there were knocks at the door
>Every time it was another p0ny or two asking Twilight about the darkness

>And every time you took to the rafters to hide, not wanting anyp0ny to get a good look at your costume
>Eventually, it was time
>Twilight had donned her Star Swirl the Bearded outfit, and you still had your Batman costume on
>You let Twilight go by herself so you could sneak around
>Twilight was mostly in your sight the whole time, as she wandered around and mingled with her friends and the other townsp0nies
>She approaches Applejack, who had just started bobbing for apples
>When she dives her head in again, you teleport to the other side of the large bucket and crouch as low as you can behind it
>A few p0nies spot you and gasp, but nothing major
>There was enough light, they could mostly figure out who you were
>Applejack was still bobbing after a few seconds, so you plant your face into the water right in front of hers and stare at her
>She recoils a bit and brings her head just above the water, and you do the same, staring at her with the pale white eyes your hood shows
>Slowly, she inches back away from you, when you conjure some magic to splash a large amount of water up and at her as you stand up and extend your cape in an intimidating manor
>Applejack jumps back and screams for a moment
>When she puts two and two together, she glares at you
>"Anon, what the heck are ya' doin'? Fer that matter what are ya?"
"I am the bat." you respond in the deepest voice you can muster, immediately teleporting onto the roof of a nearby building

>As you look down, you notice a poof of smoke where you just stood
>Was that a result of Pinkie Pie's ability?
>Hmm. Whatever it came from, you weren't complaining
>Applejack looks dumbfounded, Twilight giggling behind her
>Suddenly you hear a little boom followed by a loud scream, but that almost sounded like a bird squak at the same time
>It came from behind you, but you immediately spot a pink and white blur darting through the alleys until stopping in the middle of town near Twilight and AJ
>Well, speaking of Pinkie Pie
>There she was, wearing a fucking chicken costume
>That's Pinkie Pie for ya
>She seems to be warning Twilight and AJ about something, then she takes off again into another alley, alone
>Perfect
>Pinkie is slowly stalking through the alley's, looking out for danger so it seemed
>You took note of where the bright full moon was so you could glide over her and cast a shadow down right where she could see it
>Gliding over the small gap between the buildings above her, she stops and gasps, looking up to see nothing
>Turning around, she begins to walk backward, scared that something might be coming up behind her
>Big mistake Pinkie
>You drop down onto the ground in front of her, causing a thud
>She jumps and turns to see you before screaming like a chicken and darting off
>You can't help but chuckle before returning to the rooftops

>Taking another look over the town square, you spot a really small dark cloud hoving just above roof-level, where there isn't much light and it wouldn't be easy for p0nies on the ground to see
>On top of the cloud was a pegasus in a full costume
>It almost looked like a Wonderbolt outfit, but it was black
>Slowly, the p0ny raises it's front hooves, then smashes them down onto the cloud, causing a strike of lightning to emit from it accompanied by a booming sound
>Twilight and Applejack jump and scream
>The pegasus laughs for a moment before taking off with it's cloud
>Hmm, is somep0ny stepping into your territory?
>No, this will not do
>You jump around from roof to roof, staying out of the light and making sure the p0ny doesn't see or hear you
>The mystery pegasus continues to position her cloud over other unsuspecting p0nies and scaring them shitless with a strike of lightning
>At one point after she sends out a strike, she grabs her cloud and takes off in your direction
>You stood your ground on the top of a roof, stannding up straight with your arms crossed waiting for her
>She was too busy laughing and looking behind at her victims to notice until she was right in front of you
>The pegasus stops just in time, and gasps when she sees you
>"Whoa, what the-"
"This is my turf." you say as you extend your arms to the sides and conjure a large flock of bats that go flying at her and screeching

>She flips out and takes off, leaving her cloud behind
>Before giving chase, you use some magic to turn her cloud from black to pink
>Now that you have a good image of her in your mind, you teleport in front of her
>She was hiding in an alley, panting, when she screams again at the sudden sight of you
>When she flys off into the light of the town square, you catch a hint of the various colors of her tail
>Wait, that's not- no way
>You hover up and and above the rooftops when you notice she had grabbed her cloud and moved it above you
>Before you have much time to react, she smashes it with her hooves, but the joke's on her
>A wave of chocolate milk explodes from the top of the cloud and into her face
>You float up next to her and laugh
>"Hey, no fair!"
"Why, because I can use magic? At least you can conjure lightning from clouds, that's still pretty cool."
>"Hmph, yeah... Wait a minute... Anon?"
"Wait, you just now realized it? Gee Rainbow, I didn't think it would take you that long to recognize the only human in Equestria." you say sarcastically
>She stares you down for a few moments before diving into you, wrapping her fore-hooves around you in a hug
"Yeah, it's good to see you too. How've ya been, when did you get back?"
>After breaking the hug, she takes off her hood and you do the same
>"I actually came back earlier today and figured I'd have some fun before anyp0ny knew I was here."
"So is the tour over then? How'd it go?"

>"Oh it was so awesome! I'll have to tell you about it later, but for now I gotta prank some more p0nies."
"I hear that, mind if I join ya?"
>"You and me? Hmm, yeah, this is gonna be good!"
>Suddenly you hear a voice shouting from the town square
>"Hey Anon, Rainbow, come down here!"
"Dammit, what the hell?"
>You look over and see Twilight waving a hoof at you two
>RD:"Aww, how could she tell? Darnit!"
"Hmm, well you do have your hood off. Alright, let's go."
>You and Rainbow fly down to Twilight and Applejack
>Twi and AJ exchange hugs and pleasentries with Rainbow
>After a minute or two, multiple strikes of lightning and booms of thunder come from the sky
>Through a large fog of cloud comes a charriot pulled by two p0nies
>When they get within sight, you can tell they were royal night guards
>As the charriot flys above P0nyville, Princess Luna jumps from it and lands before you
>She looked a little bigger, and had royal armor and vestments on
>A few other things seemed different about her too though
>Many p0nies in the area scream and gasp before bowing down
"Hey there Luna, glad you could make it."
>She lets out a light menacing laugh in response
>"Pathetic mortal, I am not your precious Princess Luna. I am Nightmare Moon!" she shouts in the royal voice, strikes of lightning coming down as she states her name
>Twilight squee's
>"So authentic, this is great!" she says under her voice

>Hmm, Twilight may be convinced, but you're not buying it
>You might as well play along though, for now
"Nightmare Moon!? So you're responsible for putting up the moon early!"
>"Very good, human. So I take it my forged letter from Celestia was convincing enough?" she asks, turning her gaze to Twilight
>Twi:"Yea- Wait, forged letter?"
>Okay, this isn't looking good
"You really are Nightmare Moon aren't you?"
>"Of course I am! This night is going to last forever, but unfortunately for you, Anonymous, you will not get to enjoy it."
"Is that so?"
>"Before I end you for what you did, you will suffer the same punishment I suffered. One thousand years, banished to the moon!"
"Excuse me? What the fuck did I ever do to you?"
>"This is for your deception, the pain and suffering you caused my daughter!" she shouts as her horn begins to glow
"Wait, what? Your da- ...Oh my god!"
>Before you have any time to react, you feel yourself being pulled away, upward
>Everything goes black
>Seconds later, your vision comes back to you
>Except it's completely grey-scale
>All you see is a grey, dusty ground all around you, and a black night sky
>That bitch really just sent you to the fucking moon, didn't she?
>Oh, she was going to pay for that

>You scan the black sky and spot the nearby Earth-like planet, Equestria likely facing right at you
>Just as you begin to conjure some magic, you hear the sound of an empty bottle dropping behind you
>As you stop the magic and turn around, you see-
"A.. human?"
>He was sitting on a large boulder and had dropped an empty bottle of what looked like vodka
>The guy was fairly large, and spoke in a loud, deep Russian accent
>"ANONYMOUS? HOW YOU GET UP HERE ON MOON?"
"Uhh, Nightmare Moon just banished me or some shit. Wait, how do you know my name? And why do you sound so familiar?"
>"I KNOW MANY ANON, AND MANY ANON KNOWS ME."
"Are you... Strelnikov!?"
>"AHA, NOW YOU GOT IT!"
"But- how!? I thought you died?"
>"NO, I TOLD OLD LIFE TO FUCK OFF, THEN I END UP HERE. BUT I DO NOT COMPLAIN, IS GOOD AFTERLIFE."
"Afterlife huh? I never looked at it like that... How could this be good though, aren't you stuck up here?"
>"NO. FROM MOON I SEE MANY VERSION OF EQUESTIRA, MOST OCCUPIED BY MANY DIFFERENET ANON."
"Wait, seriously? You can see into alternate universes from here? Does that mean you can send me to one?"
>"NO. ONLY ME, I DO NOT KNOW WHY. IT IS FUN THOUGH, I DRINK AND DO BATTLE WITH MANY ANON, VISIT MANY DIFFERENT WORLD."
"Hmm, I see. Sounds like you've been having a lot of fun, wish I could do that."
>"AH YES, VERY FUN. BUT NOW I MUST FIND OWN UNALTERED VERSION OF EQUESTRIA FOR ME, START MY OWN STORY IN THIS STRANGE LIFE."

"Well, that makes sense I guess. Why don't you come down and hang with me one night, have some drinks or something?"
>"MAYBE SOME DAY, AFTER I BEGIN NEW LIFE. BUT YOU NEED TO GET BACK TO YOUR EQUESTRIA NOW, YES?"
"Oh, right. Yeah, I guess I do."
>"THEN GO. YOUR P0NES NEED THE BAT MAN NOW. MAYBE WE MEET AGAIN SOME DAY!"
"I certainly hope so Strel. Good luck in your journey!"
>He nods and produces another bottle of vodka out of nowhere
>Conjuring some magic, you look up toward Equestria and begin to picture Nightmare Moon
>Over a minute goes by as you're summoning every bit of magic you possibly can
>This is by far the longest you've ever had to focus your magic, but finally you manage to get a lock on her, and away you go
>Again, your vision goes black for a few moments
>Soon, you appear in the P0nyville town square
>Nightmare Moon has just jumped into her chariot and it was flee'ing from town
>Oh hell no
>Twi:"Anon, you're back!"
"Stay back Twi!" you shout sternly at her, not bothering to see where she or anyp0ny else were standing
>Conjuring up some more magic, you form a ball of raw magic energy in your hands and pitch it at the chariot
>Controlling it with more magic, you manage to strike it directly, causing an explosion of violet-colored magic
>Moments later, you spot her figure shooting at you before ending up on the ground before you
>She was absolutely furious

"What, you didn't think I'd actually sit up there for a thousand years with my thumb up my ass did you?"
>"How DARE you!?" she shouts
"How DARE I? HOW DARE I!? You know what? I'm not even getting into this. You and Eris are evil and don't belong in this world. I got rid of her and I will do the same to you."
>She laughs menacingly
>Idiot
>While she's distracting herself, you conjure another small ball of magic and pitch it into her face
>It explodes and she recoils back, glaring at you when she recovers
>Her horn begins to glow and instantly shoots a blast of her own magic at you at light-speed
>It strikes you in the chest and throws you back about ten yards and to the ground
>Damn, she packs a punch
>You quickly stand up and she fires another
>Her blast is countered as you bring up a small shield in front of you
>"You think a shield can stop ME?"
>Her entire form begins to glow, as multiple copies of herself appear beside her
>They spread around and almost completely surround you in a quick second
>They laugh in unison and each of their horns begin to glow
>Soon they all fire multiple large blasts of magic at you
>You're forced to dodge and shield them for a few seconds, but you know this won't last long
>You teleport into the air and quickly conjure more orbs of magic and toss them to the various Nightmare Moon's on the ground below you
>A couple of them manage to dodge, but the rest end up engulfed in large blasts of violet fire

>The few that escaped are still firing their own magic beams at you, but they're much easier to avoid now
>One of them lifts her back hooves off the ground and vanishes
>Suddenly you feel two hooves smash into your back as you're bucked hard toward the ground
>Your magic focus was lost and you were plummeting toward the ground, soon crashing in the town square
>Needless to say your back hurt really bad, but you bet it would be much worse if not for the suit
>Still, it was hard to get up
>As you slowly push yourself up, you begin to conjure some magic
>Getting onto your knees, one of the Nightmare Moon's was standing before you, aiming her horn down as it begins to glow
>You quickly raise a hand up and form a shield as she fires, blocking it
>At that moment you focus a stream of magic from your other hand into her face
>The beam connects, and her form disappears
>Before you can stand up completely, an aura forms around you and you begin to lift into the air
>You're turned around, coming face to face with another one
>You begin to conjure another ball of raw magic in a hand behind your back
>Another Nightmare Moon standing a short ways behind the one directly in front of you fires a beam at you
>Immediately you toss the magic ball from your hand to the one next to you, holding you up
>Taking her by surprise, it connects and she vanishes

>Unfortunately you weren't able to avoid the blast from the last one, which launches you a few yards and back to the ground
>"Well well, congratulations, you defeated my mirror images. But you will not defeat me!"
>Still conjuring magic, you form another ball and toss it at her as you get up
>She teleports away and a moment later you feel another blast on your back, throwing you forward, once again onto the ground
>Before you can get up, you're lifted by a magic aura
>You don't get very far before you're tossed violently into the wall of a nearby building
>Again, you bet your suit is saving you
>No doubt would you probably be out of this fight by now if not for that
>Damn, this bitch was strong!
>Twilight and the others were watching from a distance, and her and Rainbow looked scared and furious right now
>But you could barely catch a glimpse of them, as the real Nightmare Moon steps in front of you
>Again she gives off a menacing laugh as you lie slumped against the wall, too injured to really do much at the moment
>Her horn begins to glow, quickly getting very bright
>"You could have lived another thousand years up there. Shame you had to give it up. No matter, better news for my daughter when I release her. Farewell human!"
>"NNOOOOOOOOO!!!" somep0ny screams
>You both look over and see Twilight galloping toward you
>Her eyes were pure white, both glowing as bright as the sun
>Her mane and tail looked as though they were on fire

>And she had a ridiculously large and vibrant aura around her and absurd amount of magic emanating from her horn
>NMM:"Wh-what is this!?"
>Twilight continues to charge Nightmare Moon, screaming at the top of her lungs
>Nightmare Moon turns towards Twilight and fires the blast she's been powering up
>Twilight teleports through it and connects her horn with Nightmare Moon's neck
>You see a quick spark of bright light, as if from a lightning strike, before a furious explosion erupts from it
>Eyes blinded from the light, ears deafened from the booming sound that followed, you could only feel yourself thrown backward, likely through at least one wall, before everything went dark

>An unknown amount of time passes, and the first of your senses returns to you
>The first thing you hear is a soft crying
>It was very close, right next to you even
>Struggling, you manage to slowly open your eyes
>You could tell you were lying on your back, still outside
>Twilight was sitting next to you, head down, sobbing
>Her eyes were closed, but that wasn't stopping the tears frome escaping
>"Anon- wake up, please! You- have to wake up!" she says between her sobbing
"Twi-light?" you manage to mutter
>Her eyes shoot open
>"Anon!? You're alive! And you're awake!"
>She drops down and hugs you as tight as possible, sobbing even harder now
>And here comes your pain sense
"Ooowwww!"
>Twilight recoils and gets off you
>"Oh, I'm so sorry!"
"N-no, it's- fine... What happened? How long was I out?"
>Whiping some tears from her eyes, she takes a breath and regains her composure
>"I- don't really know. I remember seeing Nightmare Moon having you pinned to the ground, and when she started powering up another attack, I guess I just lost control... I- I thought I killed you Anon."
>Twilight's trying not to start crying again
>Through the pain in your back, you manage to slowly sit up so you can console her
"It's okay Twilight, I'm not going down that easy." you say as you bring an arm around her
>She burries her head in your chest
"What happened to Nightmare Moon?"

>"I... I don't know... when I came to, she was gone, and nop0ny saw her go anywhere either. After the blast, she just wasn't there anymore..."
>Taking a look around, you spot a large crator in the town square near you
>Almost every structure surrounding the square was damaged, some much more so than others
>Especially the one behind you, which had a collapsed wall that you apparently crashed into
>There was a large group of p0nies in the town square, most of them looking on at you and Twilight, a few others surveying the damage
>"Hey, how're ya doin' Anon?"
>Looking to the side, you spot Rainbow Dash sitting on the ground next to you
"Hey, Rainbow. I think I'm- in a lot of pain, but I'll be good."
>RD:"Glad to hear it. Man, you put on a heck of an awesome show back there ya know."
"Heh, yeah I bet. I admit it was kinda fun, but I'm glad it's over. I have to- thank Twilight though, if it weren't for- her I probably would be dead."
>RD:"Yeah, I still can't believe what she did, it was insane."
>Twi:"I can't even remember it..." Twilight mutters
"We should talk to Celestia about it, maybe she knows something."
>Twilight looks up at you, eyes glistening from the tears
>Twi:"But- what about Luna? I can't tell her what I did!"
"Twilight, that was Nightmare Moon-"
>Twi:"Yes, but it was also Princess Luna. If I- killed her, I'm- I'm done for!"
>You push her head back into your chest and nuzzle it with your own, embracing her again

"Don't worry about that Twilight, I doubt you killed her. Just don't think about it. I'm sure Celestia would understand anyway."
>"I do understand."
"Princess Celestia?"
>Sure enough, she came floating down from the sky and landing before you and Twilight
>Rainbow Dash bows to her, which wasn't really something you could do at the moment
>Twilight looked up to her, but remained in your embrace
>C:"That was quite a valliant display, Anonymous."
"Oh... Thanks, I guess. So you saw everything?"
>Celestia nods
>C:"Unfortunately that was all I could do."
>She shifts her gaze to Twilight
>C:"Twilight Sparkle." she says sternly
>Twilight looks down and burries her head lower, beginning to sob again
>Twi:"Y-yes?" she manages, with a noticable fear in her voice
>C:"You have performed an amazing feat of magic, one I myself could not hope to accomplish."
>Twilight looks back up, confused
>Twi:"Wh-what? B-but I- ..Princess Luna-"
>C:"Don't worry about Luna, she is alive. Not only that, Nightmare Moon is gone. You may not remember your actions, but you were aware at the time, and you did exactly what was required. I'm very proud of you, Twilight."
>Twi:"She's- alive?"
>C:"Yes, though she will need time to recover."
"That's a relief. So what about that burst of power Twilight had? What was all that?"

>C:"I will have to explain that to you later. It certainly has opened my eyes, and I will have to consider some things. We will discuss it when you all get P0nyville back on it's feet."
"Hmm, yeah this place did take quite the beating huh?" you say, chuckling
>Twi:"Anon, that's nothing to be laughing about." she whispers to you in a disappointed tone
>C:"It's quite alright Twilight. Now I must go see to my sister, I will keep you informed of her condition."
"Alright, goodbye Celestia. And thanks."
>Twi:"Goodbye Princess."
>Celestia smiles at you two and takes flight, flying off into the distance toward Canterlot
"Hmm, I wonder what the hell actually happened to Nightmare Moon. She gets blasted, then the next thing we know she's gone and Luna is in a hospital or something already?"
>"I don't know Anon, maybe she can explain to us later... Speaking of hospital though, I think we should get you to one, right now."
"Oh it's not that bad."
>RD:"Oh yeah? Try to get up then." Rainbow chimes in
"That sounds like a dare Rainbow."
>RD:"Well maybe it is? Come on you're tougher than that."
"Alright then, challenge accepted."
>Twi:"Anon, I don't think-"
>She's cut off as you begin to stand up
>Very sharp pains begin shooting through your lower back, thighs and legs, and you simply just can't stand up with your own strength
>RD:"Wow, I guess you really are in a bad way huh?"
"Seems like it- oowwww."

>Instead you decide to conjure some magic and lift yourself into the air
>Slowly you stand upright in the air, before landing down on your feet carefuly
>As you let go of the magic, you struggle to keep your balance as more pain shoots through your legs and back
>Twilight immediately stands on her hind hooves and latches her fore-hooves around your waist, helping you remain standing
>Twi:"Are you okay Anon?"
"I think you were right Twi, this hurts. A lot."
>Twi:"Well what are you waiting for then?"
"Alright, yeah hang on. But what about P0nyville?"
>Twi:"Hmm. Rainbow Dash, can you get with Mayor Mare and start cleaning things up around here? Anon really needs to get in a hospital."
>RD:"Aww yeah, you can count on me! Take care of yourself Anon, we'll handle things here."
"Thanks Rainbow."
>With that, you grab Twilight and teleport to the P0nyville general hospital
>Twilight checks you in, and the first thing the nurses tell you is to take off your suit
>Really you didn't have a choice, they wouldn't be able to do shit if you left it on
>When you levitate to your room, you take it off and hang it up, before lying down on the minotaur-sized bed they bring in for you
>A couple doctors that have previously dealt with you come in and begin taking x-rays and getting started
>Twilight never leaves your side for a moment

>After the initial x-rays and other scans are done and they've given you some injections, they leave you to sleep for the night
>Thankfully, the amount of magic you used had made you quite exhausted, and sleep came rather easily
