  1. Around mid 2014, Gamer Gate became a thing, and we had a flood of /v/irgins. These guys were only anti-SJW, to the disgust of the conspiracy crowd. 8chan became a thing around that time, and lots of those tards just fled there, thankfully. /pol/ saw an increase in quality after that, and again became a mix of national socialists and libertarians.

  3. I don't know much about what happened around early to late 2015, I didn't post a lot around that time. Ebola stuff was lit. Though that was the time where /pol/ became a place to have fun and shitpost, generally; before that people here legit cared about discourse, as absurd as this might sound to you. This stuff were the predecessors of meme magic shit. Believe it or not this place became noticably better when genuine flags became a thing.
