Bio:
Lian is an imposing woman despite her stature, standing at 5'4. She wears her long black hair in a large braid, at 22 years of age.

Lian-Ziu was born in the kingdom southeast of Pahravanit under a well-reputed mercenary father, a plain mother and two fierce brothers, Lian quickly found herself placed to the side of her siblings, being taught simple homely matters and court etiquette in the face of her brother's training and budding mastery of the katana. Lian, however, was not one to be belittled. Fierce enough to challenge her brothers in every contest imaginable, she would not rest until she had proven her wit and strength over them. Her contests over her brothers eventually proved an annoyance to them and the rest of their home, and her Father took notice. In place of the wooden bokken used for training, she was handed a modest staff and told to train as a guardian of the home. Furious at her father's insistence, Lian still mustered on towards mastering the staff, glaive and naginata in quick order.

One final challenge to her brothers sealed her fate, as a duel broke out between them, Lian held nothing back. In a quick, snapping movement, she immediately tripped and bent her older brother's leg, shattering it beyond repair. Frayed in dishonor, she was sent to Pahravanit proper, to serve as a bodyguard for a contact of her Father's. Once again her confrontational disposition preceded her, her charge becoming quickly disillusioned by her brashness. Within a few months, she was sent to Kadesh in search of the "Bandit Kings" residing east of the Bloodpeaks... An assignment she accepted more out of boredom than loyalty.

Though her search brought her through the Kadesh forests and across the Red Fields, she would catch word of a duo associated with these 'Kings' crossing into Ardavia. Following suit into the mainland, she established herself quickly among the locals, and attracted the attention of a certain mercenary captain in dire need of fighters...
