I urge you to oppose H.R.2648: "To amend chapter 44 of title 18, United States Code, to prohibit the sale or other disposition of a firearm to, and the possession, shipment, transportation, or receipt of a firearm by, certain classes of high-risk individuals."

This bill expands on the prohibited persons that are unable to own firearms. The language used is in this far too broad and can be used to disarm individuals with very little justification. It would also prohibit individuals under 25 that have already been adjudicated of their crimes - those individuals have already proved to a court that they have reformed.

Until this bill uses more specific language and takes the idea of a second chance into consideration, it poses a serious threat to civilian gun ownership. Please stand against this.
